This is meant to be an interactive blog based on a comment and response system. That's where YOU come in and we need YOU to help the Lighthouse of Prayer work effectively by joining us in sharing your prayer requests or other's you encounter AND then by leaving a prayer for them.

We'd love to see your Prayer requests (Petitions) in what normally would be the Comment area, where others will be supporting you through their prayers hopefully, written as a response to your petition there. We'd like this to be a community of prayer, praying for one another.

We are encouraging you ALL to pray whenever you read a need of someone, so please respond here with a prayer also. You need not be a team member to leave a prayer for someone or bring a prayer need here. We all can lift up a prayer for each person and encourage someone, help to carry another's burden, stand with them and bless them.

The Linky asks for a blog link (BUT you need not fill that in if you don't have a blog or the person that you are requesting prayers for does not).The intention of this, is so the people will go "visit" the person to encourage them or find out more about the situation. Thanks for sharing people that you find need prayer. DAILY PRAYER

This is a place for you to come and leave your daily prayer, praise, thanks and read from the "DAILY PRAYER" from Germaine Copeland,

I so appreciate the DAILY PRAYER from Germaine Copeland that changes each day here or you can go to the Daily Prayer Site.
I decided that I need a place to save these prayers each month. So I will be putting these PRAYERS of GERMAINE COPELAND daily in the comments of this post and that way we will be able to come and read them any day. You are most welcome to leave your daily prayer here... or a prayer on the theme/scriptures of the day from Germaine's Daily Prayer.

Importance of Prayer

especially for our nation, our leaders and other world leaders and their countries, we are commanded to pray for those in authority...

From First to Last

"Have you ever stopped to think about how great a portion of Scripture is occupied with the subject of prayer? Within the very first pages of the Bible you read, “At that time people began to call upon the name of the Lord.” (Genesis 4:26) Its closing plea is “Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.” (Revelation 22:20)

Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving. Colossians 4:2

Throughout His Word are other examples. Jacob wrestled with the Lord and called upon Him (Genesis 32:24-30). Daniel prayed three times a day (Daniel 6:6-10). David struggled with life circumstances; his Psalms give glimpses of his expressions in prayer. Paul and Silas prayed and sang hymns to God (Acts 16:25).

Charles H. Spurgeon said, “We may be certain that whatever God has made prominent in His Word, He intended to be conspicuous in our lives. If He has said much about prayer, it is because He knows we have much need of it. So deep are our necessities, that until we are in Heaven we must not cease to pray.”

Beloved, continually lift your requests for comfort, strength, guidance for yourself and this nation, humbleness in daily living, and zealousness in proclaiming God’s saving grace. Rejoice in the privilege of fellowship with the Father."
