This is meant to be an interactive blog based on a comment and response system. That's where YOU come in and we need YOU to help the Lighthouse of Prayer work effectively by joining us in sharing your prayer requests or other's you encounter AND then by leaving a prayer.

We'd love to see your Prayer requests (Petitions) in what normally would be the Comment area, where others will be supporting you through their prayers hopefully, written as a response to your petition there. We'd like this to be a community of prayer, praying for one another.

We are encouraging you ALL to pray whenever you read a need of someone, so please respond here with a prayer. You need not be a team member to leave a prayer for someone or bring a prayer need here. We all can lift up a prayer for each person and encourage someone, help to carry another's burden, stand with them and bless them. 1. Alice's husband (urgent healing of carotid artery)and more see blog - Visit
2. My SIL who has severe ovarian cancer still needs prayer. She also need financial help. The good that has come out of this is that she has returned to Jesus. AliceE. - Visit
3. Amy Wyatt's dad(tumor is shrinking PTL) and mom - Visit
4. Denise (Shortybear) no one knows how she is but we must continue to pray for her - Visit
5. Pia's dad's cancer(for Pia, her dad and family as well as finances to cover medical expenses) -Visit
6. Alleluiabelle's husband(trip to neurologist) -Visit
7. My husband sees the heart doctor tomorrow regarding the blockage in his carotid artery. Would appreciate prayers. - Visit (this is Alice FROM THE HEART)

As the Lord leads, please pray:

I really do love this book! I so appreciate the DAILY PRAYER from Germaine Copeland that change each day here up above. I decided that I need a place to save these prayers each month. So I will be putting these prayers daily in the comments of this post and that way we will be able to come and read them any day. I hope these prayers help you as they do me to focus on scripture and pray God's Word.

Almighty God, you are our Mighty Fortress, our refuge and the God in whom we place our trust.  As our nation faces great distress and uncertainty, we ask your Holy Spirit to fall afresh upon your people — convict us of sin and inflame within us a passion to pray for our land and its people.  Grant the leaders of our country an awareness of their desperate need of wisdom and salvation in You until sin becomes a reproach to all and righteousness exalts this nation. 

Protect and defend us against our enemies and may the cause of Christ always prevail in our schools, courts, homes, and churches.  Lord God, send a spirit of revival and may it begin in our own hearts. 

Remember America, we pray.  Remember the foundations on which this country was built.  Remember the prayers of our nation’s fathers and mothers, and do not forget us in our time of need.In the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ, Amen.
