JUNE PRAYER REQUESTS

"Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken"
Ecclesiastes 4:12

This is meant to be an interactive blog based on comment and response system. That's where YOU come in, we need YOU to help the Lighthouse of Prayer work effectively by joining us in sharing your prayer requests or other's you encounter AND then by leaving a prayer for them, let them know that you are lifting them in prayer with us here.
WE REALLY NEED YOU !
This blog ONLY works if WE all JOIN together
in prayer and sharing.

We'd love to see your Prayer requests (Petitions) in what normally would be the Comment area, where others will be supporting you through their prayers hopefully, written as a response to your petition there. We'd like this to be a community of prayer, praying for one another.

We encourage you ALL to pray whenever you read a need of someone, so please respond here with a prayer also. You need not be a team member to leave a prayer for someone or bring a prayer need here. We all can lift up a prayer for each person and encourage someone, help to carry another's burden, stand with them and bless them.

This blog post is only for
PRAYER REQUESTS

please use other posts to write other prayers.

Your PRAYERS are always welcome!

When you leave a prayer request,
please come back to read the prayer(s) for you.
Hopefully you will find them right under your
PRAYER REQUEST
made possible with the new feature of
REPLY

When you add a PRAYER REQUEST, please
write PRAYER REQUEST first
or just
add your prayer request in the
LINKY

If you are praying for that prayer request
please use the REPLY right under that prayer request.

Thank you in the name of Jesus
let us pray

BLOGGERS PRAYER PROJECT

Since I'm not available online as much as in the past but really believe in "praying for one another", I'd like us at the Lighthouse of Prayer to commit to praying for 31 bloggers (or more) if the Spirit leads you. You certainly can do your own on your own blog, too!

I've decided to do this a bit different than the Project and I will start the list out with people who already come here and pray, then add as led. I'm going to put a LINKY... and add their names and link to their blog... and if you add anyone, link to their blog not yours.

Pray for each sister in Christ individually, in other words, don't lump them all together. Each day choose a new blogger on the list and leave a prayer for them. Add any blogger as you are led by the Spirit...

Barbie at My Freshly Brewed Life has a wonderful example for Day 1. Please click on the button or visit Dawn Modern Day Disciple at Beneath the Surface to find out more and follow their specifics for this Blogger Project.

I almost like this better than Prayer Requests. We all need prayer support whether we are facing a trial, battle or difficult circumstance, or celebrating a victory for praise, and just our daily walk could use a blessing through prayer which never hurts.

Only PRAYERS (no comments please as usual) in the "Prayers Lifted to the Throne of God"! Let's pass this on (go grab the button code from Dawn) so hopefully more PRAY and join us to cover Blogland!

Not sure what the LINKY will say but put the Blogger's name as (Title or whatever) and Link to their blog (not yours). You can add your own blog if you pass through here and you're not on the list yet (we won't know you added yourself)... hopefully we'll get to know you as we pray for you.

PRAYER REQUESTS are different and FOLLOW in the next post still. However, I really want us to just lift up other bloggers and let them know you're praying for them, too, even if there is nothing in particular...

Just pick any BLOGGER you know well and add your prayer. You're welcome to add any blogger as you're led with your prayer for that blogger. You certainly can pray for a blogger without leaving a prayer but it'd be nice to write out a prayer for each one to see. We are not doing Day 1, Day 2...etc. but I do hope each day, you pray for a new blogger and we add more... don't worry about the photos of the blogger, it's the blogger that counts... :0) and praying for each blogger...

PRAYER for Our Nation

This was shared in an email from the Presidential Prayer Team:

Declaration of Independence Signer

Samuel Chase
George Washington (1732-1799), 1st President of the United States

"Almighty God: We make our earnest prayer that Thou wilt keep the United States in Thy Holy protection; and Thou wilt incline the hearts of the Citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to Government; and to entertain a brotherly affection and love for one another and for their fellow Citizens of the United States at large, and particularly for their brethren who have served in the Field. And finally that Thou wilt most graciously be pleased to dispose us all to do justice, to love mercy, and to demean ourselves with that Charity, humility, and pacific temper of mind which were the Characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed Religion, and without a humble imitation of whose example in these things we can never hope to be a happy nation. Grant our supplication we beseech Thee, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen." --

This prayer of George Washington appears in St. Paul's Chapel in New York City.
