I am sharing this prayer from Brenda Craig's blog:
http://www.journalsoftheheart.com/
because it is on my heart.

Lord, forgive me for getting ahead of You or for listening to the advice of men in lieu of Your Word. Help me to understand how important the ground of my life today and how I nurture it will determine much of my tomorrows. Give me an eternal perspective as I learn to see the bigger picture around me. I do not want to be self-focused or self-absorbed. May my heart be cultivated in richness, grace, mercy and truth to the point no lie will have the power to influence me or draw me away from Your presence.

I proclaim I am one who is receptive, receiving, believing…one who is trusting even as the Lord is. My heart bows in awe and respect for the Lord. I am not moved regardless of situation or circumstance for the Lord is with Me. I stretch myself out to the Lord and He meets me. I am changed.

Lord, teach me to walk in wisdom, knowledge and understanding till all knowledge fills my house…my heart. May Your wisdom and revelation keep me from perishing in any way. Truly people perish for lack of knowledge. Many times in my life, as I look back, I realized the mistakes I made were due to ignorance of Your Word…ignorance about You....

Lord, thank you for going before me. Thank you for leading the way by example even to the cost of Your own life. I pray this be enough for me…enough for me to trust You and take You at Your Word. Love was and always has been…always will be the first thing with You. I relish in Your love. I so desire for love to flow from me as it flows from You, therefore; teach me to walk in Your ways and in Your footsteps without missing a beat.

It is hard to imagine being in You before the worlds ever were. What a love. What a preparation to be with me. I am amazed and overwhelmed with the beauty of it all. Today I receive the fullness of Your beholding gaze and I ask for You to penetrate the very depths of my essence with a never before experienced revelation of Love…of You. I come to Your presence and experience You as You exist in the very midst of my life. Amen

What a beautiful ministry of prayer. Thank you. ... Today I ask for prayers for the farmers in Iowa -- and across the U.S. and Canada -- who have been unable to harvest because of considerable rain. Praying also for their safety as they enter into the fields.

Heavenly Father...We gather together with our sister Jennifer and pray for the FARMERS, those in Iowa, across the USA and Canada for the HARVEST.
Lord, the rains have been abundant & in some places overwhelming, way beyond saturating or necessary. We thank You for the rains instead of drought but now we ask for an extra measure of Your Divine Protection & Provision for all they need during this time of harvest; safety, warmth, good days of sunshine and Your Son shining on them as they work as a worship unto You! We give You all glory, honor and praise for the Harvest is Yours and we thank You now & forevermore...in Jesus Beloved Name...thank You for our sister Jennifer and her prayer. We lift any unspoken need of hers and ask You to draw closer to her & bless her this day through Your holy power, wisdom, grace, and might. You are our sufficiency!
Thank You Lord for Your answer!

Hello, this is Yoli. I want to sincerely thank you for recently posting comments on my old blog, Apron of the Month Club. Your words of faith and encouragement are very special to me especially with our sudden relocation news and increased stress.

The company I work for is relocating my job to a new city by January 1st. I also co-own an online boutique with my sister Jessica, and we have decided to professionally seek solo creative directions. So, I am opening up a new online boutique and new blog. I look forward to God opening new doors. My kids and are excited about new adventures.

Please know that I read each and every comment you post. They are my inspiration and confirmation of God’s love. Please add me to your list of blogs that you follow.

God Bless You!
Yoli

Heavenly father and people who come here for prayer; Forgive me for not being here faithfully in November so far mostly due to internet & some health setbacks but I continue to pray and have prayed over your concerns shared here.

LORD, Once more I come to You for our sweet sister Yoli. Fill her up Lord with Your amazing love each day! Let her sense Your awesome Presence surrounding & guiding her in these new business ventures. Bless her & her business with her sister. Give her a sense of being blessed not stressed as regards this sudden job relocation. Help her to make the adjustments and follow Your will for her. Bring her wisdom in her decisions! Help her discern each step. Bless Jessica as her partner that they may lift one another up & share a prosperity in their new online boutique & blog!
Use this as a ministry and direct their steps daily. Continue to give them encouragement and bless their faith. May they grow closer to You!
May they surrender whatever they need to into Your more than capable Hands! Do a new work & anoint them in Your will for each of them & their families. You are more than enough! We praise & exalt You for great things You are doing in their lives!

Still standing with Jennifer in prayers over the farmer's harvest, the downpours of continuous rain & their safety & protection. Be with them! Be with Jennifer. Attend to her heart and bless her as she comes to You! Hear her & bless her steps as You direct them each day!

WE continuously give You all the glory, honor & praise...for You are alone are worthy & greatly to be praised! Thank You Lord for hearing this prayer in Jesus beloved Name.

PRAYER for Our Nation

This was shared in an email from the Presidential Prayer Team:

Declaration of Independence Signer

Samuel Chase
George Washington (1732-1799), 1st President of the United States

"Almighty God: We make our earnest prayer that Thou wilt keep the United States in Thy Holy protection; and Thou wilt incline the hearts of the Citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to Government; and to entertain a brotherly affection and love for one another and for their fellow Citizens of the United States at large, and particularly for their brethren who have served in the Field. And finally that Thou wilt most graciously be pleased to dispose us all to do justice, to love mercy, and to demean ourselves with that Charity, humility, and pacific temper of mind which were the Characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed Religion, and without a humble imitation of whose example in these things we can never hope to be a happy nation. Grant our supplication we beseech Thee, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen." --

This prayer of George Washington appears in St. Paul's Chapel in New York City.
