SHOCKING NEWS ... URGENT PRAYER for COMFORT

Unbelievable... I just posted a Prayer that I loved in the Prayers to the Throne of God in Urgent Prayers for Amber, Emma and Abby below from Prayer Central yesterday from our dear Wayne Dillard and then I received this tonight...

HERE ARE BEAUTIFUL WORDS as an update on WAYNE DILLARD spoken at his memorial.

I pray that Kathleen and her daughters or Prayer Central does not object to me posting the entire email. I am in such shock as they are...

Wayne DIllard
Dear Prayer Partners,

This is Kathleen Dillard, Wayne's wife, writing to you today with some unexpected news. Last night, April 3rd at 7 PM Wayne had, what we believe to be, heart failure.

The day before Easter, he went into the arms of THE Resurrection Himself. It was a sunny day in Colorado and Wayne was busy and happy doing the things he loved.

As for myself and our two college age daughters, Julia and Jessica, we are in shock. Our hearts are both heavy and hopeful. Your prayers are a great help to us right now.

As for Prayercentral, we feel Wayne was "in the middle" of so many God appointed projects, that I will take the baton forward where Wayne left off last night.

Which means, you will hear more from us at Prayercentral.

If you would like to give a gift in Wayne's honor, you can do that by clicking here or at the following address:

Thank you so much for your partnership with us in His Kingdom!

People of prayer, please pray for these precious prayer warrior missionaries! Kathleen, Julia and Jessica, our prayers join together to the Heavens that the Holy Comforter be with you, strengthen you and give you all you need to continue to work in His Kingdom as Wayne had planned. You are precious to me and I will pray for you but right now I am in complete shock as you. Thank you for letting us know! Our deepest sympathies for your loss and our great loss but heaven's gain!

Readers if you cannot pray (like me right now) please click where it says Prayer for Kathleen, etc. and there is a beautiful prayer already written and all you have to do is read it to PRAY IT:

Take Courage

Scripture: The following night the Lord stood near Paul and said, “Take courage”! -Acts 23:11

I would have posted it here but if you go there, you can click and it shows them that you are supporting them. Thank you! If you do not know Wayne and Kathleen Dillard, please go to Prayer Central. There are two buttons, in the sidebars here from them, Fetch It Prayer and there are many available at their wonderful site besides Kathleen's Word of the Week!

A Note from Kathleen Dillard:

Thank You, for your prayers as we walk forward in this unexpected season of grief. Your prayers are a cushion of grace. A senior leader and pastor called us recently and said, "Wayne's life has been sown into the ground in righteousness and we will see a great harvest," our hearts feel hope rising.

Thank you for your partnership with us at Prayercentral. Let's continue to shape history on our knees.

In His Care,

Kathleen

Jesus, You are the Lord almighty. There is no darkness that is dark to You, and no difficulty that is beyond Your reach. You are present in every moment of our lives and nothing escapes Your notice.

I lift up Kathleen, Julia and Jessica to You today Lord, and ask You to surround them with Your peace. There are anxious thoughts lurking about and they need Your help. Just as You brought comfort to Paul, I ask, Lord that You would whisper to Kathleen, Julia and Jessica, “Take courage! Take courage! I am with you, Take courage!”

Let Your voice drown out the fearful thoughts that reach out from the dark. Give them the grace Lord to draw near to You today, and enter into Your presence where fear and anxiety disappear and hope and strength abound.

Father, I am stunned, but You knew the days of this precious son of Yours. All I keep thinking is what a Holy time You called him to come home. Oh my Father, the celebration that he must have been experiencing as he came face to face with our Risen Lord this Holy Day...

Father, I lift up his family. This wife, and daughters. Father, I pray for comfort during this time of sorrow, loss and mourning. Grant them strength to keep on looking to the Kingdom of God and to rest in Your arms during these next few weeks as they walk in this shock of sudden loss.

amen amen amen

Dear God, I can do ALL things through CHRIST who strengthens me. Thank you, Jesus, for your strength and protection. Thank you God, for my Savior. Whenever that old devil comes at me with temptations, I will remind him that I can do all things who Christ who strengthens me and has saved me. Because of that, I can rebuke Satan through standing upon Scripture and leaning on you for my help. Jesus was the perfect example of this as he countered Satan's temptations with Scripture. May I open my eyes, ears, and heart to your word and your prompting. With thanks in my soul I pray, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

PRAYER for Our Nation

This was shared in an email from the Presidential Prayer Team:

Declaration of Independence Signer

Samuel Chase
George Washington (1732-1799), 1st President of the United States

"Almighty God: We make our earnest prayer that Thou wilt keep the United States in Thy Holy protection; and Thou wilt incline the hearts of the Citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to Government; and to entertain a brotherly affection and love for one another and for their fellow Citizens of the United States at large, and particularly for their brethren who have served in the Field. And finally that Thou wilt most graciously be pleased to dispose us all to do justice, to love mercy, and to demean ourselves with that Charity, humility, and pacific temper of mind which were the Characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed Religion, and without a humble imitation of whose example in these things we can never hope to be a happy nation. Grant our supplication we beseech Thee, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen." --

This prayer of George Washington appears in St. Paul's Chapel in New York City.
