PRAYER REQUESTS for this WEEK

"For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.".......(Matt 18:20).

This is an interactive blog based on a comment and response system. PLEASE WRITE YOUR PRAYER, PRAYER REQUEST, PRAISE, THANKS in the place that would normally read comments after the most recent post but here it will read "PRAYERS LIFTED TO THE THRONE of GOD."

We'd love to see your prayer requests, praises to God, in this comment area and others will be supporting you through their prayers written as a response to your comment there. Be sure to come back and see the prayers lifting you & yours together to the LORD!

SHARE PRAYER REQUESTS HERE
Yours or
for Others
in the regular comment section that we call
"Prayers lifted to the Throne of God"

SO
THEN

SHARE PRAYERS for THESE REQUESTS
in the comment section also where it reads
"PRAYERS LIFTED TO THE THRONE of GOD"

Let's see how this works. If it fills up, we'll start again or we may try Linky Tools - Prayer Requests, but it does not seem to offer this interaction.

Heavenly Father,

We lift up both of these urgent health care for Scott and Hugh!

You are their Healer! You know each situation and particular case before we ask. Yet we come and ask in Jesus' Name, that Scot and Hugh receive a special covering of Your healing touch. Your Word says that Jesus took up Scott's and Hugh's infirmities and Cathy's & Linda's sorrow, concern and care... and by Jesus' wounds, they are healed. The added complications and burdens You are aware of and we trust You to carry our brothers for You care for each one of us. You love and desire to fulfill Your Word as we wait and come to You on their behalf.

Send Your Holy Comforter to them and their families. Bring peace instead of pain. Give wisdom to all the medical personnel in charge of their care and compassionate people to care for Scott & Hugh. Surround them with Your angels to keep guard over them and their families.

We thank You already for the healing that You have begun and will complete. Your will be done!
I pray that Scott and Hugh may enjoy good health and that all may go well with them. Raise them up and restore wellness.

We stand in agreement and ask You in the precious Name of Jesus and the blood that covers them. We give You all glory, honor, praise & thanks as we wait, believing for a good report...

Pray the Blessing:
Isaiah 53:2-5 For he grew up before him like a young plant, and like a root out of dry ground; he had no form or majesty that we should look at him, and no beauty that we should desire him.

He was despised and rejected by men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief; and as one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his stripes we are healed.

Declare your faith:
I believe and confess that Jesus Christ heals the sick today through the power of the Holy Spirit (Matt 10:8; James 5:14).

Pray on foot:
Visit a hospital and pray for those who are sick with the faith that God can heal them.

My Father,

I lift Scott and Hugh to You this morning. May there health burdens be lifted, and may they both feel Your healing touch upon them.

I come to You in full faith that You will restore their health through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Specifically for Scott I ask that his breathing ease, the infection in his lungs be cleared, and that the doctors and all who treat him seek Your wisdom and guidance in his treatment.

For Hugh I ask that his lungs also be cleared of infection, that his appetite will return so that he may eat and nourish his body.

I pray for comfort for his family--some near, some far away--that You ease their minds--left them feel Your embrace--even right at this moment--and rest in the knowledge that You have Hugh in the palm of Your hand. You are holding Him, Lord, and I pray for complete restoration of his health so that he and his wife may return to the comfort of their own home.

In Jesus' Name I pray...

Amen

"...Please don't abandon me, I am just incapacitated at the moment.
I covet your prayers because I know God and what He can do. I know that the prayers of His people accomplish much. I have been able to keep Daily Grace current. I praise the Lord for that.

Love you all and hope to be up and running soon."

PRAYER for Our Nation

This was shared in an email from the Presidential Prayer Team:

Declaration of Independence Signer

Samuel Chase
George Washington (1732-1799), 1st President of the United States

"Almighty God: We make our earnest prayer that Thou wilt keep the United States in Thy Holy protection; and Thou wilt incline the hearts of the Citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to Government; and to entertain a brotherly affection and love for one another and for their fellow Citizens of the United States at large, and particularly for their brethren who have served in the Field. And finally that Thou wilt most graciously be pleased to dispose us all to do justice, to love mercy, and to demean ourselves with that Charity, humility, and pacific temper of mind which were the Characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed Religion, and without a humble imitation of whose example in these things we can never hope to be a happy nation. Grant our supplication we beseech Thee, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen." --

This prayer of George Washington appears in St. Paul's Chapel in New York City.
