JULY PETITIONS to GOD'S THRONE

PRAYER REQUESTS

"Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly brokenEcclesiastes 4:12

DO YOU BELIEVE THIS VERSE?

Then LET US JOIN TOGETHER, and
PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER and WITH ONE ANOTHER

"For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them." Matthew 18:20

This is meant to be an interactive blog based on a comment and response systemThat's where YOU come in and we needYOU to help the Lighthouse of Prayer work effectively by joining us in sharing your prayer requests or other's you encounter AND then by leaving a prayer.

PLEASE WRITE YOUR PRAYER, PRAYER REQUEST, PRAISE, THANKS in the place that would normally read comments, here it will read "PRAYERS LIFTED TO THE THRONE of GOD" or just add your request, if there's a LINKY PRAYER REQUESTavailable.

We'd love to see your Prayer requests (Petitions) in what normally would be the Comment area, where others will be supporting you through their prayers hopefully, written as a response to your petition there. We'd like this to be a community of prayer, praying for one another.

We are encouraging you ALL to pray whenever you read a need of someone, so please respond here with a prayer. You need not be a team member to leave a prayer for someone or bring a prayer need here. We all can lift up a prayer for each person and encourage someone, help to carry another's burden, stand with them and bless them.
All prayers are welcome.

The Linky asks for a blog link (BUT you need not fill that in if you don't have a blog or the person that you are requesting prayers for does not). The intention of this, is so the people will go "visit" the person to encourage them or find out more about the situation. Thanks for sharing people that you find need prayer. THANK YOU FOR PRAYING FOR ONE ANOTHER!

Please continue to PRAY for
Pray for Denise & Eddie

IF at any time, THE LINKY is not here, please feel free to leave your prayer request in the comments.

My SIL with cancer is still getting Chemo. She also has other tumors in her body. The tumor had not shrunk enough to do surgery yet.

I have another SIL who had a stint put in her leg yesterday. This is the 2nd or 3rd one. She also has diabetes and broke that leg last year.

I could probably list most of mine and my husband's family but I won't. When you reach our age anything can happen. We just keep trusting God to take care of us.

I still have numbness in my toes and pain in my back. The PT exercises help. I don't see the dr. again until October. I really do not want to have surgery again.

Father in Heaven, I life up both my sisters-in-law and ask that you heal both of them in the name of your Son Jesus.

I lift up Pia's father to You and ask that you heal him of lung cancer and give the family peace and comfort they need.

Also, Denise, who is getting help with an eating disorder. I pray that You will put your loving arms around her and help her to once again enjoy eating the foods that will make her well again.

Thank You, Heavenly Father, for listening to our prayers and for what You are doing in the lives of all these listed. Your word says that "by the stripes of your Son, Jesus we are healed." To You, Father, be all the glory, honor and praise.

Sharing this from Alleluiabelle's 'Humble as I Go' blog (Peggy)

"...Please pray for my dear brother. I love him so very much. Please pray for divine wisdom, guidance and skill on the surgeon's part and all surrounding him that day...that the surgery goes well...that they retrieve the biopsies without complications... that he doesn't have any abnormal bleeding...that his body will heal quickly...that he will not have long-term pain with this...that he does not have any other dreaded disease...PLEASE PRAY FOR A MIRACLE OF HEALING...

Also pray for my husband Ron as he still suffers from extreme leg aching in both legs. We have been to a number of doctors over the past several months and they just don't know what it is. It's very very discouraging. You will see him out and about, but he suffers much with this.

One good piece of news...my sister Sandy's three-month cancer marker came back still extremely low...Yay. Praise God!"

Dear Heavenly Father, you led me back to my computer tonight looking for a song that was running through my mind and I found several people who have posted. I lift them all up to you and ask that you bless them in whatever it is they need. I just lift up Alleluiabelles brother to You and ask that You be with him during the surgery he is to have and that your would just touch him and heal him in the name of Jesus.
There is nothing impossible with you. They will be done in this situation. And Lord I ask that you surround Alleluiabelle and Ron with your loving arms and give them peace and take the pain away from Ron's legs in the name of Jesus. You know exactly what the problems are with these dear people and I know You are carrying them through the things they have encountered. I just thank you for what you are going to do in the lives of these people, in the name of Jesus. The song I came to look for was I just came to talk with You Lord, but you led me here. I love you with all my heart.

I didn't come here to ask You for anything
I just came to talk with you Lord
You've answered a million prayers
That I forgot to thank You for
I just came to talk with You Lord

Maybe tomorrow there'll be trouble and sorrow
And a thousand teardrops may fall
But until I face tomorrows task
I have no special favour to ask
I just came to talk with you Lord

How many times Lord
Have troubles brought me down to my knees
Oh but this time I just came to talk with you Lord
You see I really have no selfish motive in mind
I just came to thank you Lord for all the other times

Maybe tomorrow there'll be troubse and sorrow
And a thousand teardrops may fall
But until I face tomorrows task
I have no special favour to ask
I just came to talk with you Lord
I just came to talk with you Lord

Heavenly Father, I come to you this morning in the name of your Son, Jesus thanking you for all the good things you have done in the lives of people who have asked for prayer here at The Lighthouse.
I do ask that you be with Karen on Friday during her surgery and that she will heal quickly from the fall she had. May she feel peace and your presence surrounding her as she waits for the surgery on Friday. I thank you for your healing power.

I thank you for what sounds like a good report for Alleluiabelle's brother. I pray that you have already done a great work in his lungs and that all reports will be good ones. I ask that you give the family peace as they wait for these results.

Thank you, Father for your loving kindness and all that you have provided for all who come to you with problems. I pray all of this in the name of Your Son, Jesus for it is by His stripes that we all are healed. Thank you for your unfailing love and blessings to all of us including Denise.

Once again, Father, I've come just to thank you for all the prayers you have answered here at The Lighthouse. We may never know until we get to Heaven just how many of the prayers have been answered, but until then, I just came to say "Thank you Lord for answering our prayers."

Heavenly Father, I just came to ask you to heal, Beth (Unfinished Project). You know exactly what the problem is and I know that you care about her. Please heal her in the name of Jesus. Let her feel your loving arms around her and know that You are her healer. I thank you for what you are going to do in her life.
Amen.

Father, I come humbly before you tonight thanking you for all the good things you have done in my family's lives. I just ask that you do the same for Beth and that the tests she is having tomorrow will show exactly what the problem is and it will be easily corrected because you have gone before her and given the doctors the answer. You are our creator and know so much more about us than anyone and I just thank you for what you are going to do in Beth's life. Let her feel your loving arms around her and know that you are going to supply her every need in the name of Jesus. Praise your holy name for Who You are and what You are doing in all of our lives as we put our trus in You.

Thank you, Father, for the good things you have done in my husband's body. I pray that all of the followup appointments next week and month will be positive in the name of Jesus. Amen

I left a prayer at Beth's blog.

Father, I just come to ask you to comfort Misty in the loss of her mother. Give her peace and let her feel your loving arms holding her, supporting her as she goes through the days ahead. May she feel the presence of the sweet Holy Spirit. We don't understand why we lose loved ones at such a young age but you can give her understanding and peace like no one else can. I also ask that you surround Denise and let her feel peace that can only come from you. She is your child and I know you love her. I also thank you for helping Beth and given her the healing that she needed. I pray that Karen's arm will continue to heal. I lift up my SIL to you and ask that you be with her when she has her next scan in a few weeks. I pray that you will have performed a miracle and healed her of all the cancer that was in her body in the name of Jesus. I say "was" because I know that this is possible through your Son, Jesus. I love you so much and thank you for blessing my husband and helping him with the medicine he is on and pray that he will not have to take it very long.
To You, Father, be all the glory, honor and praise for all that you do for these precious people.
Amen.

PRAYER for Our Nation

This was shared in an email from the Presidential Prayer Team:

Declaration of Independence Signer

Samuel Chase
George Washington (1732-1799), 1st President of the United States

"Almighty God: We make our earnest prayer that Thou wilt keep the United States in Thy Holy protection; and Thou wilt incline the hearts of the Citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to Government; and to entertain a brotherly affection and love for one another and for their fellow Citizens of the United States at large, and particularly for their brethren who have served in the Field. And finally that Thou wilt most graciously be pleased to dispose us all to do justice, to love mercy, and to demean ourselves with that Charity, humility, and pacific temper of mind which were the Characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed Religion, and without a humble imitation of whose example in these things we can never hope to be a happy nation. Grant our supplication we beseech Thee, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen." --

This prayer of George Washington appears in St. Paul's Chapel in New York City.
