Prayer of Affirmation

Father, I thank You for helping me as I enlarge the place of my tent and strengthen my stakes. In You there is hope for despair. In You there is stability for turmoil. In You there is prosperity for poverty. In You there is health and healing for sickness. In You there is peace for conflict, whether it is in a relationship, in my home, or in my land. In You, Lord Jesus, is well-being for every area of life! Hallelujah! Thank You Holy Spirit for divinely orchestrating every aspect of my life! Jesus is Lord over my spirit, soul and body, and over my relationships. Amen

Prayer of Reconciliation

Father, in Jesus name, You are the Great Reconciler! Of marriages! Of children! Of families! Of brothers and sisters in You! Of all relationships! It is in Your strength, and by Your grace that I will go to the person with whom I have had conflict. You have planted the Seed of Love in my heart, and I will humble myself by asking forgiveness regardless of who was at fault. I pray that the relationship will be healed and the breach mended. I purpose to do this in obedience to Your Word and for Your glory, Lord Jesus. The Repairer of Breaches in relationships is working on my behalf! Amen.

A Healing Prayer

Jesus was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering. Like one from whom men hide their faces He was despised, and we esteemed Him not.
Surely He took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered Him stricken by God, smitten by Him, and afflicted. But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed. I receive divine healing for my spirit, soul and body in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Day 6
Renewing Thought Patterns
It is written, "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways," declares the Lord. "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts. I no longer desire to conform to the pattern of this world, but may I be transformed by the renewing of my mind. Then my thoughts and my ways will be changed to Your thoughts and YOur ways, in the name of Jesus. Amen

Day 7
The Power of Gods Word
As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, they do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is Gods word that goes out from His mouth. When He speaks and when I speak His word, it will not return empty, but will accomplish what He desires and achieve the purpose for which He sent it. Father, I thank You for creating in me Your desires. Amen

Trust in the Living God
In the name of Jesus, I would not be high-minded nor trust in uncertain riches. My trust is in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy. Father, I purpose to be a wise steward of the finances You give to me, and use them to further Your Kingdom. My giving not only helps supply the needs of people, but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to You, my Lord and my God. Amen

God Hears the Prayers of His People
Hear my prayer, O God; listen to the words of my mouth. The moment I pray, You send an angel for my words, and Your answer is on its way to me. I purpose with the help of the Holy Spirit that I will always have an excellent spirit, and remain in right standing with You. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in Your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

Relationships
Father, help me to speak truly, live truly and deal truly in all my relationships. You allow separation and divorce due to the hardness of heart. I will delight myself in You keeping my heart pliable and flexible. Prayer for the Nations

Jesus revealed that praying for nations is very important to God. It seems that most people think of Jesus as gentle, meek and lowly (and He is); a good shepherd carrying sheep on his shoulders (and He is). But there is another glimpse of Jesus that we tend to forget. That is the display of his anger on two occasions in the temple courts. (John 2; Mark 11:15-18) Jesus overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves. I wonder how many were in an attitude of prayerful worship after all the haggling over the high interest rates they were being charged. They must have felt cheated by those who were supposed to be their brothers. Jesus declared openly before the people: Is it not written that my house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations? You can become a member of the Global Company of Intercessors who are praying for all nations by signing up at our website, www.prayers.org.

PRAYER:

Father, we are your children…heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ who share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory. We ask you, Father, to make the nations our inheritance, the ends of the earth our possession for your glory and your purposes. In the name of Jesus, we pray for the healing of the nations. Praise God! It is our Lord Jesus who will bring true justice and peace to all the nations of the world. Amen

Faith for Finances

One of the most frequent prayer requests we receive concerns finances. Are you in debt and wondering how you will ever get out? Do you tithe according to Malachi 3, do you give? God is able to make all grace and earthly blessings come to you in abundance (2 Corinthians 8:9). You have choices to make; you can choose to believe His Word and release your faith. Your faith will require action. Cut up credit cards; do not allow advertising to control your emotions. Get financial counseling. In her book, Dream Catcher, Zoe Hicks discusses Faith and Finances. She writes: Whether we are head over heels in debt, striving to reach a financial goal for a future need, in need of money to fulfill a God-given vision, or seeking to use our money creatively to help those who are less fortunate, faith is a powerful ally. Zoe and her husband proved God by tithing when they were in need, and He opened the windows of heaven. She writes: Get into the pattern of spending less than you earn and use the excess to pay down debt. Keep seeing yourself as debt free and imagining how great you will feel when you get there. Expect ideas to come to you on how to spend less or earn more or both.

PRAYER:
Father, it seems that we never have enough. But Im here today to ask you to deliver me from financial bondage from this debt that Ive accumulated over the years. Forgive me for robbing you of my tithe, and I admit that Ive been so consumed with my own needs that I havent thought about blessing anyone else. I release my faith in You asking the Holy Spirit to help me stand by your promise to supply all my need according to your riches in glory by Christ Jesus. You are a very present help in trouble, and You are more than enough. I submit to the constant ministry of transformation by the Holy Sprit, and purpose to pray for others who are in debt. Just as you did for Job, you will turn this captivity, and bless me that I might be a blessing to others. In the name of Jesus, I worship You only, and I will have no other gods before me.

PRAYER for Our Nation

This was shared in an email from the Presidential Prayer Team:

Declaration of Independence Signer

Samuel Chase
George Washington (1732-1799), 1st President of the United States

"Almighty God: We make our earnest prayer that Thou wilt keep the United States in Thy Holy protection; and Thou wilt incline the hearts of the Citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to Government; and to entertain a brotherly affection and love for one another and for their fellow Citizens of the United States at large, and particularly for their brethren who have served in the Field. And finally that Thou wilt most graciously be pleased to dispose us all to do justice, to love mercy, and to demean ourselves with that Charity, humility, and pacific temper of mind which were the Characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed Religion, and without a humble imitation of whose example in these things we can never hope to be a happy nation. Grant our supplication we beseech Thee, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen." --

This prayer of George Washington appears in St. Paul's Chapel in New York City.
