Our Father, I bless You today. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm! You chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world that we should be holy and without blame before You in love. I bless you every moment of my life

O Lord, teach me to follow your decrees; then I will keep them to the end. Give me understanding, and I will keep your law and obey it with all my heart. Father, in the name of Jesus, I refuse to walk the paths of evil, for I will remain obedient to your Word. Amen.

Yes, Lord...We come to You this day and bless Your Name! Bless Alice and every one in her family, and her many prayers on behalf of others. Thank You for her fervent prayers!

Yes, Lord... teach us to follow You and Your decrees and keep them until the end. may we not grow weary in standing for Your laws.Give us understanding. Help us obey with all our hearts. You have kept our feet from evil paths so we may walk in Your way.

Praise be to You, God and Father of our precious Lord Jesus Christ, who blesses us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For You chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in Your sight. No matter what circumstances
come at us, may we recall this and Your unfailing love and grace that comes from You, Our Amazing God.
Many times we can't understand why something terrible happens and we protest in pain and anger or even doubt that You care, but help us see through our lack of faith or understanding to You and Your cross

I have dear ones faltering right now because of some tragedy that occurred in their lives, so I ask for Your Peace that passes all understanding for them, Comfort for their loss, and that in time You may reveal how or why You allow such heaviness and sadness to hit us and others that are being overcome relentlessly by affliction, sickness, and more & more... be with each one and show Yourself as Mighty and all Powerful to raise us above these 'storms' to be victorious in You! Bring healing and strength! Surround us with Your favor and Presence once again in Jesus Name I ask all of this and give You praise, thanks and glory!

Germaine Copeland's Daily Prayer said...

Father-God, I count myself dead to sin, but alive to You, and I refuse to allow sin to reign in my mortal body. Today and every day, I present myself to You as being alive from the dead, and my members as instruments of righteousness. Sin shall not have dominion over me, for I am not under law but under grace in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Praise His holy, rightious name.

Germaine Copeland's Daily Prayer said...

Father, in the name of Jesus, I ask you to forgive my sin of rebellion. I acknowledge that I have not obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor inclined mine ear to them that instructed me! Create in me a willing spirit that I might obey my spiritual leaders and submit to their authority. I would obey them so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no advantage to me. This is my prayer in the name of Jesus. Amen.

All to Jesus I surrender. Not my will but yours be done in my life. Father, you have given us the power to change, and I ask you, Holy Spirit, to expose any fear or doubts that try to linger. May I ever be well-balanced. I loose all ungodly, unwholesome mind-sets and renew my mind to the mind of Christ. Your perfect love cast out all fear when I am totally abandoned to you. You are effectually helping me work out my salvation. In the name of Jesus, I thank you for loving me. Amen.

Father, it is no longer I that lives, but Christ Lives in me. I rely on Your ability, and choose to specialize in the impossible. You are guiding me and filling me with courage. I let go of yesterday, I let go of regret, I relinquish all resentments and I give you my pain. I relish in this present quiet moment -- I wait upon You acknowledging that You are God. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.

Awesome God

Father, You are an awesome God. You set earth on a firm foundation so that nothing can shake it, ever. You blanketed earth with ocean, covered the mountains with deep waters. Then You roared and the water ran awayYour thunder crash put it to flight. Mountains pushed up, valleys spread out in the places You assigned them. You set boundaries between earth and sea; never again will earth be flooded. You started the springs and rivers, sent them flowing among the hills. Oh, my God, you are an Awesome God!

Children

Father, we pray that the heart of the parents will be toward their children, and the heart of the children will be toward their parents. Give our children obedient hearts that they may obey their parents in the Lord, for this is right. Grant them the will to honor their father and mother that it may go well with them and that they may enjoy long life on the earth in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father, I thank you for the safety of my oldest daughter who recently spent a week out of the country. She is precious in Your sight and I give You the honor and praise for bringing her home safely and for the email she sent when she arrived at her destination to let us know she was fine. Thank you for both my girls and the work You have done in their lives. I praise You for helping my youngest daughter throughout her entire life. You are the reason she is serving You today. I praise you for the salvation of my grandchildren and ask that You continue to bless them throughout the rest of their lives. May they always look to You for guidance in the name of Jesus. I love You, Father, for giving us a plan of salvation through Your Son, Jesus. Praise, honor and glory be thine. I cast all my cares upon You today.

Parents

Father, in the name of Jesus we purpose to obey Your commandments. We receive Your promise that if we do what is right in Your eyes, all will go well with us and our children forever. Holy Spirit, we ask You to show us things to come that we might train up and teach our children how to choose the right path. When they are older, they will remain upon it in the name of Your Holy Son, Jesus. Amen.

Thank You Heavenly Father, You are so good! You are so awesome!

Praise Your Holy Name for parents and children, who walk with You! Thank You for the prayers of my dear sister Alice, thanking and praising You for her children and grandchildren. This is as it should be. A beautiful way that a family should function so that all will go well with each member! What a wonderful example of a mother, she is, praying for them. Thank You for her husband. May they live long and continue to see Your work & glory in them and theirs. Praise You for all You are doing.

As a parent of 2 wayward adult children and a spouse, who has not yet accepted Your Son, Jesus... I lift them all to You, asking that You change their hearts, and bring them to You, according to Your will not mine and in Your timing. I believe You and I believe in You so I desire to see them walking also in Your fullness, I see them saved by Your grace and honoring their relationship with You. I ask that You bring repentance, forgiveness, mercy, restoration, and all that You desire for us. Place people around them that know & honor You in their life. Bring each one someone that can reach them and bring them back or to You, where they belong. I thank You for Your love for them and the time that You gave me as an adoptive mother to love them. I will continue to bring them before Your throne of Grace,
for You to deliver them and always keep them from harm and evil. I thank You for their lives and now I ask that they give their lives to You completely as Lord... in Jesus precious name I pray.

PRAYER for Our Nation

This was shared in an email from the Presidential Prayer Team:

Declaration of Independence Signer

Samuel Chase
George Washington (1732-1799), 1st President of the United States

"Almighty God: We make our earnest prayer that Thou wilt keep the United States in Thy Holy protection; and Thou wilt incline the hearts of the Citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to Government; and to entertain a brotherly affection and love for one another and for their fellow Citizens of the United States at large, and particularly for their brethren who have served in the Field. And finally that Thou wilt most graciously be pleased to dispose us all to do justice, to love mercy, and to demean ourselves with that Charity, humility, and pacific temper of mind which were the Characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed Religion, and without a humble imitation of whose example in these things we can never hope to be a happy nation. Grant our supplication we beseech Thee, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen." --

This prayer of George Washington appears in St. Paul's Chapel in New York City.
