Father God,

Sometimes I come here in silence and seek You! I tend to love worship songs so on occasion I will put on one of the videos that are placed around here... and I listen until I sense You speak or the gratitude just wells up inside of me. I cannot help but have an attitude of gratitude as I listen to Your Word but especially when I hear Kari Jobe sing "The More I Seek You" and so I do!

I sit at Your feet, feel Your heart beat, Your love overwhelms me!

I read through the verses of thankfulness, Lord and somehow not one flows graciously from my lips when I pray. It's not that I don't say thanks... it's just that my thanks and even these verses do NOT come close to expressing my praise and thanks to You or for You!

"That my soul may sing praise to You and not be silent. Lord, my God, I will give thanks to You forever." [You turned my wailing into dancing; You removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my heart may sing to you and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give you thanks forever]

Truthfully Lord, singing along with Kari or Avalon or Bebe & Cece Winans or even Casting Crown brings me closer to You and thinking that I have thanked You than these verses. I know that You inspire songwriters then and now, so may my words measure up and give You the greatest, song of thanks every day throughout my life but especially this month of November... may You hear from the depths of my spirit the magnitude of my gratitude and know without a doubt that I mean it with all my heart when I tell You,
THANK YOU!!! Thank You Lord! Thank You Father! Thank You Holy Spirit!

I thank You for my sisters (and brothers) that pass by here and more for those who leave a prayer from their heart! Even if it's not written, You hear each one. Thank You for their prayers! May peace rule in their hearts and may we always BE THANKFUL, even when Your answer is not what we were seeking!
We bow to You! We love You! We exalt You and We praise You for WHO YOU ARE! not just what You do!

Our Father,

I come here today and thank You for another day!

Thank You for seeing me through the Sunday evening and being that it was the 6th, I now understand why I was troubled and lonely. When I am alone, I know that You are still there. I reach out to You and ask You to surround me with Your Presence. I lift up praise to You!
I thank You!

Hallowed is Your Name! You are so Holy. Forgive me, I pray and help me greet another day with passion, more passion for You... and as I lift up my head, the King of glory shall come in. I will be watchful and thankful... I make room for You first in my day, with my arms open wide to receive from You. Thank You for directing my steps. Thank You for revealing the reason for the heaviness. As I lift up my hands in thanks and praise, may that spirit of heaviness be lifted also.

I cast my burden upon You. I thank You that You care. You are Almighty and Awesome King of glory and yet You care for me. Hallelujah!

O my dearest Heavenly Father, It's a new day and I give You thanks! I shout out with my sisters in Christ that You alone deserve all the glory, praise and our thanks each day. You know each circumstance and every need even before we ask. Yet I gather with them and unite to their prayers with a triumphant praise to You for each petition, for this chord of two or three will not and cannot be broken.
Greater is He that is in us (with us) than he that is of this world.
We are doing the triumphant dance today over what he thought he may destroy, You only gave us fire and strength to stir the ashes and come back fighting stronger. So here we are...thanking YOU!!! Praising You for another day! Hear the prayers of my dear sisters Denise, Alice, Cathy and everyone else that passes by the Lighthouse, to bow our heads humbly and seek You first in our day. We come here asking, knocking and hoping to receive favor from You, Lord. We surrender to Your will but ask You for many miracles of HEALING flowing from here for the many we lift to You...You know each one and we trust them and our prayers to You! You care for each one. You will bring about good for each and we give You thanks for all You have done , are doing and will do... and we pray this in Jesus Precious name... give me wisdom today and show me Your will and way for me this day.

Thank You for restoring MISSIONS.
It was a long hard fight yesterday, but be glorified for what You purpose in this blog... for it is Yours and is purposed to bring You glory and submitted to You. What he had meant for harm or demise yesterday, You will use for power and glory for MISSIONS. That blog is Yours. You know that is the heart and vision that You gave me so the battle is on, but You are the Victorious One. Praise You and Glory to You. I know that because that went under attack that You have something mighty in store for
when the battle is thickest, You will rise to defend the defenseless, the hopeless, the persecuted, the trafficked, the many issues that are covered at MISSIONS. They are Yours! So I thank You for the victory!!! Hallelujah anyhow!!! Thank You for fighting and giving me the perseverance to press through the 12 hours for the results today shines Your glory. MISSIONS is back and to You be all glory, honor, praise and thanks! For Great and Mighty are You! I declare Your Name over each blog that we may continue to give You thanks and testify to Your magnificent power, protect us.
Put a shield around our blogs each day as we take a stand for YOU in what we share! We desire to proclaim Jesus, as Our Lord so that all may come to know Him and surrender to Him. No malware can defeat us or scare us. We are Yours and we worship You as Our KING and LORD!!! What the enemy meant to destroy, You restore. Thank You!

The Reward is Set in Place

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart”
(Jeremiah 29:13, NIV)

TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria

Have you ever thought about the fact that a reward is put into place before anyone ever claims it? Right now, there are rewards for certain fugitives on the loose. That money is already in a fund just waiting for someone to step up and claim it. All a person has to do is find the fugitive, and the money will be released.

In the same way, God has a reward that has already been set in place for you and me, too. It’s just waiting to be released. But, there are conditions to that reward as well. God says, “If you will just seek Me, I will give you the reward. If you will just make an effort to please Me, if you will just get up in the morning and thank Me, if you will just read the scripture, I’ll pour out My blessing.” You may not understand it all, but God says, “That’s okay. I will give you the reward because your heart is in the right place, and you are making the effort.”

Today, there is nothing more important that seeking God in all your ways. When you go about your day, keep Him on your mind. Talk to Him and ask for His direction. Seek Him because you will find Him and find peace, abundance, joy and victory all the days of your life!

Dear Lord, today I put on the full armor of God to stand against the enemy’s schemes: the helmet of salvation, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, and the sandals of the gospel of peace. I also take up the shield of faith in one hand and the sword of the Spirit in the other. Now I’m ready to take my stand.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

"PRAY WITH POWER

My Princess,

My powerful princess, do not waste your walk through life today. Open your spiritual eyes. Prayer is needed everywhere. Anywhere you walk today I can and will order your steps, if you will let Me. Pray while you're driving, while you're cooking, and while you're doing laundry and running errands. Of all the weapons in the world, prayer is your most powerful. Don't let the day begin or end without letting your prayers to Me pave the way in all you do. Wherever you go, remember that part of your royal privilege is raising your voice to heaven. So hold on to the promises that are yours and pray!

Love,
Your King and Intercessor

Father, thank You for another beautiful day. I commit this day, my plans and my future into Your hands.

Father, thank You for keeping me safe. As I lift up other missionaries to You for their protection! Be with them! Guide their steps! Give them wisdom and protection! Wrap them all securely in Your arms! We are never far from You!

Lord, help me to be focused and productive today.

Let me acknowledge You in all my going out and coming in today. Direct my path as Your Word promises in Proverbs 3:6! Thank You for leading and guiding me by Your Spirit today into paths of peace, joy and everlasting life with You!

I prayed this this morning and I pray it again with Joel O.:

"Father God, I acknowledge You in everything I do today. I invite You to direct my steps. I invite You to search my heart. I surrender every area of my life to You. Keep me close to You always in Jesus’ name. Amen."

Here I am LORD to give YOU THANKS!

Not just for Thanksgiving day ... not just for today, and these are far from the only verses that give You thanks, although I am thankful for this video and the maker for all the scripture verses that she has put on videos for so many different themes. Bless her Lord and continue to reveal and speak to her. I give You thanks for Your Word! I, too, recognize that there is power when we pray Your Word and that it will not return void. Thank You for Your Word spoken and written to us!

Thank You for the breath I breathe... thank You for taking the sharp pain from my ear... thank You as You continue healing me even my gross finger. Thank You for helping me type even though I need to adjust and not use my pointer. How we tend to not realize the importance of each part of our bodies until we don't have them or can't use them, or they hurt or we can't adjust or heal. But You can and You do! Thank You for each part of me, I take not one thing for granted. I thank You for my sight, my hearing, my touch,
my taste and my smell (but sometimes I do wish I did not smell ...but how much aroma of flowers, and food, I would miss...) Thank You that I can walk, and see, and hear and sing or speak and move and have my being
in You! Thank You for my breathing again... I recall times when it has been painful to breathe or difficult and I never want to experience like my mom...
open up my airways, my lungs, my arteries, whatever as You created me to be, and I break all family curses or hereditary illnesses over me in Jesus Name... My bones, my blood, my body is Yours!

Thank You for each part and that it functions! I give You glory as I thank You today. I love You! I adore You! I lift my hands to You and ask that You fill me with Your Spirit and that my heart flow and touch others with You Love!!!

Faith Says Thank You

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever!”
(1 Chronicles 16:34, AMP)

TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria

No matter what is going on in life, you can find a reason to thank God. What you dwell on is what you will draw into your life. You can either focus on your problems, or you can focus on your blessings. The question is: do you want more problems, or do you want more blessings?

One thing I’ve noticed is that when you live with an attitude of constant gratitude, not only do you thank God for what He’s done in your life, you start thanking Him for what He will do in your life. You thank Him for opening doors for you. You thank Him for increasing you. You thank Him for bringing the right people into your life. When you say “thank you” to God for the things that are coming, it’s really a declaration of your faith in Him. You are saying in essence, “God, I’m so sure of Your goodness, I’m so sure that You’re working in my life that I’m going to thank You right now for what You are going to do tomorrow!”

Friend, that’s the kind of faith that pleases God. When we trust in His goodness and believe that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him, that pleases His heart so much. So today, have an attitude of gratitude. Let your faith say thank you. Praise Him throughout the day with a humble heart and watch what He will do on your behalf!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father in heaven, thank You for another day to praise You. Thank You for all You have done in my life. Help me see Your hand of blessing as I continually acknowledge and praise Your name in Jesus’ name. Amen.

PRAYER for Our Nation

This was shared in an email from the Presidential Prayer Team:

Declaration of Independence Signer

Samuel Chase
George Washington (1732-1799), 1st President of the United States

"Almighty God: We make our earnest prayer that Thou wilt keep the United States in Thy Holy protection; and Thou wilt incline the hearts of the Citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to Government; and to entertain a brotherly affection and love for one another and for their fellow Citizens of the United States at large, and particularly for their brethren who have served in the Field. And finally that Thou wilt most graciously be pleased to dispose us all to do justice, to love mercy, and to demean ourselves with that Charity, humility, and pacific temper of mind which were the Characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed Religion, and without a humble imitation of whose example in these things we can never hope to be a happy nation. Grant our supplication we beseech Thee, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen." --

This prayer of George Washington appears in St. Paul's Chapel in New York City.
