Here at the Lighthouse of Prayer, we lift each other up and pray for our needs and those of others we see here and there throughout "blogland".
“I will praise you, O LORD, with all my heart” Psalm 9:1
"Praise should always follow answered prayer, just like the mist of earth’s gratitude rises when the sun of heaven’s love warms the ground. Has the Lord been gracious to you, and heard your voice as your earnestly pray? Then praise Him as long as you live! Don’t deny a song to Him who has answered your prayer and given you the desire of your heart." Originally written by Charles H. Spurgeon, published in “Mornings & Evenings,” entry for October 30th, AM. Updated to modern English by Darren Hewer, 2008
A while back, it was suggested to me to include PRAISE reports!!! Why of course, we always want to come back and give glory to Our Lord, praise Him and thank Him. In fact, I'm sure that we had a place long ago when we started here. So since we try to keep everything as a prayer around here, I was not sure how this might work ... but I'm leaving it up to YOU! I have noticed some PRAISE shared in the Prayer Requests (that I truly appreciate) but I just wanted to make a special place
If at all possible, write your PRAISE, ANSWER or THANKS in a form of a prayer ...

Psalm 34:1

Psalm 71:22-23
"SHOUT joyfully to the LORD, all the earth. Serve the LORD with gladness; come before Him with joyful singing.
Know that the LORD Himself is God; it is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name. For the LORD is good; His lovingkindness is everlasting and His faithfulness to all generations."
Psalm 100:1-5

Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget none of His benefits; who pardons all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases; who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion; who satisfies your years with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle." Psalm 103:1-5
"Bless the LORD, you His angels, mighty in strength, who perform His word, obeying the voice of His word! Bless the LORD, all you His hosts, You who serve Him, doing His will.

Great is the LORD, and highly to be praised, and His greatness is unsearchable. One generation shall praise Your works to another, and shall declare Your mighty acts.
On the glorious splendor of Your majesty and on Your wonderful works, I will meditate. Men shall speak of the power of Your awesome acts, and I will tell of Your greatness.
They shall eagerly utter the memory of Your abundant goodness and will shout joyfully of Your righteousness."

I had this as "September Praise... but if this looks like it will work out, I will make it a regular feature each month. If you asked the Lord for any request that He has answered, let us join together and give Him all the praise, glory and honor He most definitely deserves. To God be the glory for great things He has done (and will do)!!!
