FEBRUARY PRAYER REQUESTS ~ 2nd half

"Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken"
Ecclesiastes 4:12

This is meant to be an interactive blog based on comment and response system. That's where YOU come in, we need YOU to help the Lighthouse of Prayer work effectively by joining us in sharing your prayer requests or other's you encounter AND then by leaving a prayer for them, let them know that you are lifting them in prayer with us here.

WE REALLY NEED YOU !

This blog ONLY works if WE all JOIN together
in prayer and sharing.

We'd love to see your Prayer requests (Petitions) in what normally would be the Comment area, where others will be supporting you through their prayers hopefully, written as a response to your petition there. We'd like this to be a community of prayer, praying for one another.

We encourage you ALL to pray whenever you read a need of someone, so please respond here with a prayer also. You need not be a team member to leave a prayer for someone or bring a prayer need here. We all can lift up a prayer for each person and encourage someone, help to carry another's burden, stand with them and bless them.

This blog post is only for
PRAYER REQUESTS

Please use other posts to write other prayers
but
Your PRAYERS are always welcome here!

When you leave a prayer request,
please come back to read the prayer(s) for you.

Hopefully you will find them right under your
PRAYER REQUEST
made possible with the new feature of
REPLY

If you are praying for that prayer request
please use the REPLY right under that prayer request.

When you add a PRAYER REQUEST in comments,
please
write PRAYER REQUEST first

Thank you in the name of Jesus
let us pray

PRAYER REQUESTS - Please continue to pray for Little Linet's family so that they can meet all their financial and other obligations concerning putting their little one to her final rest. They must journey far to bury her so please also pray for travel mercies and for others to be touched by the love of God through this.

Continue to pray also for for my friend that he will get into the university and that they will respond soon. Pray also for his funding need.

Please continue to pray also for ES who is still in hospital recovering after surgery. Praise God she can stand and use the washroom unaided but I do not know when she will be released to home. Pray for her continued strength and for the family to be able to meet the hospital bills.

Continue to pray for JD's wheelchair to be approved for padding and for her hospital bed to be changed.

God is able.

Heavenly Father, You know each prayer reques that has been placed for the 1st half of February. I ask that You answer each prayer according to your will. Supply financial needs, healing, those who need your help from sickness, car wrecks, etc. Father You have heard each request and I know that You have not left any of Your children wanting for anything. You have all authority over sin, disease, money, etc. It all belongs to You and I know You will supply every need, in the name of Jesus.

Please answer all of Denise's requests. She is so humble and brings all the needs of her friends to You for You are the healer, the Comforter, the giver of life.

I pray for our country, Father. Those who are in office that don't know You I ask that You send someone to witness to them and may they accept You as their Savior and make descisions only after talking to You. Lead and guide each one to make the right decision. May they remember that whatever way they vote it will not only affect our country but will also affect their children and grandchildren.

Help us, oh Lord, speak to our president and call him out by name that he might repent of his sins and accept you as his Saviour, in the name of Jesus.

Thank You in advance for hearing my prayers and the others. I thank you that I don't need surgery on my back and my eyes are the same as they were six months ago when I visited the eye specialists. You are so wonderful and I love you so much.

I lift up those unspoken request that have not been put here. You know the needs and You are the healer of Your children. Praise Your holy name. Holy, Holy, Holy is thy name. I love You so much my dear precious friend who knows me better than anyone. Amen.

This is from my friend Tammi's blog--My 22 year old cousin, Michael, has been battling a rare form of liver cancer for a while. . . but it's really been a struggle. He is now in excrutiating pain due to a ruptured disc. His blood count is also very low.

He was supposed to go to Georgetown next week for a second opinion, but will be unable to make the trip due to the amount of pain he is in. Please also pray for his parents, as I am sure this is a pain that is almost unbearable. Pray for his sister and brother, as well as all of their children ~ they love their Uncle Michael!

Please pray for God to meet the family's every need. . . and to show me if there is anything that I can do to help. It's just a helpless feeling for the extended family and friends.

So let's just take this to the Lord together!

PRAYER for Our Nation

This was shared in an email from the Presidential Prayer Team:

Declaration of Independence Signer

Samuel Chase
George Washington (1732-1799), 1st President of the United States

"Almighty God: We make our earnest prayer that Thou wilt keep the United States in Thy Holy protection; and Thou wilt incline the hearts of the Citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to Government; and to entertain a brotherly affection and love for one another and for their fellow Citizens of the United States at large, and particularly for their brethren who have served in the Field. And finally that Thou wilt most graciously be pleased to dispose us all to do justice, to love mercy, and to demean ourselves with that Charity, humility, and pacific temper of mind which were the Characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed Religion, and without a humble imitation of whose example in these things we can never hope to be a happy nation. Grant our supplication we beseech Thee, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen." --

This prayer of George Washington appears in St. Paul's Chapel in New York City.
