APRIL PRAYER REQUESTS ~ 1st half

"Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken"
Ecclesiastes 4:12

This is meant to be an interactive blog based on comment and response system. That's where YOU come in, we need YOU to help the Lighthouse of Prayer work effectively by joining us in sharing your prayer requests or other's you encounter AND then by leaving a prayer for them, let them know that you are lifting them in prayer with us here.

WE REALLY NEED YOU !

This blog ONLY works if WE all JOIN together
in prayer and sharing.

We'd love to see your Prayer requests (Petitions) in what normally would be the Comment area, where others will be supporting you through their prayers hopefully, written as a response to your petition there. We'd like this to be a community of prayer, praying for one another.

We encourage you ALL to pray whenever you read a need of someone, so please respond here with a prayer also. You need not be a team member to leave a prayer for someone or bring a prayer need here. We all can lift up a prayer for each person and encourage someone, help to carry another's burden, stand with them and bless them.

This blog post is only for
PRAYER REQUESTS

Please use other posts to write other prayers
but
Your PRAYERS are always welcome here!

When you leave a prayer request,
please come back to read the prayer(s) for you.

Hopefully you will find them right under your
PRAYER REQUEST
made possible with the new feature of
REPLY

If you are praying for that prayer request
please use the REPLY right under that prayer request.

When you add a PRAYER REQUEST in comments,
please
write PRAYER REQUEST first

Thank you in the name of Jesus
let us pray

please pray for the following families: the Rocha Ramirez family will bury their three year old son Ritchie this weekend. He was going to the store with his family to get a new ball last Friday and he ran from the car and was hit by a truck driving in the shopping center. The sadness of this story is two families are hurting, Ritchie's two brothers witnessed it with his folks and they will forever remember seeing their baby brother dying in front of their eyes. The driver was traveling within the law in a shopping center and it was simply a very tragic accident that has altered these two families lives forever. My friends oldest daughter has a very dear friend Libby, who lost her fifty two year old daughter a few weeks ago. Mary, like her late father, was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. Her husband put her in an assisted living home immediately, and she passed away after only suffering from the disease for a few short months. Libby is really hurting, and your prayers and warm thoughts are greatly needed. My dear friend Kathy lost her younger brother Michael last week. The family has asked for privacy regarding their loss and Kathy will talk with us when she feels the time is right. Many prayers for the O'Gane family would be greatly appreciated. Kathy and her younger sister Marlene care for their own sweet mama with Alzheimer's. The Castillo family is hurting over the SIDS death of their son Kolya who would have turned seven months old on March 29th. Please remember all these families and pray.

Prayer Request. Heavenly Father I know You saw this request but I also know You were and still are right by Caren as she wrote this prayer request on FB this morning. "Alice please pray and have others pray for my mom, Gloria Hall, she recently has been diagnosed with stage 4 brain, lung, stomach, and back cancer"
I ask, Father that You will comfort Caren and her family. I also ask that You will heal Gloria. Thy will be done in her life. Give the
family peace and wisdom in the name of Your Son, Jesus. Bless Caren physically and spiritually. She has a lot to deal with right now. With her husband (my husband's nephew) who has a very bad back and now her mother. Father, You are greater than all of this and I know You will give Caren, her Mom and her husband what they need. I pray this all in the name of Jesus.

Father I ask also that You would bless all the prayer requests that Denise has given. You know each one by name and what they need from You. I give You all praise and glory for what You are going to do for all who need Your help and again I pray this in the name of Jesus.
Amen

Heavenly Father, I stand with each and every one of these prayer requests and so many needs. It breaks my heart so I am sure that Your heart breaks also. You know each one of these people and situations and so I place them along with my dear sisters in Christ, in Your hands and trust You to accomplish Your good purpose and plan. Help us O Lord!
Show us how we can better come to You to lessen the many burdens of Your children. Be with Alice, Denise, Cathy, Pia, Joyful and anyone else that passes by here and lifts these prayers to Your Throne in Jesus Name, meet us and give us our daily bread as You answer our daily needs ... forgive us our trespasses and lead us not into temptation, danger, and keep us from evil and the evil one. We serve that 'debil' his notice; he's defeated and so we take the authority of Jesus Christ, His blood and His name to war off all that chaos. We give all the glory, honor and praise to You alone!
We love You! We exalt You! We thank You
for keeping Your light shining as a beacon to all who will come... Come and pray for others, come and surrender to You, come and receive the salvation and grace available because of the Lamb's great sacrifice and the victory won, come and walk in the power that His Spirit has freely given us to rise up, stand strong and overcome in Jesus' precious name...

PRAYER REQUEST: for Rick and Kaye Warren, Saddleback Church family, friends of Matthew (who took his own life at only 27).
And other young people that are turning to suicide to escape their problems, bullying, shame, depression, etc.

Father God, We need You! We need You to send Your Holy Comforter and Counselor to the Warren family and all that are suffering the loss of a loved one to suicide. There is no pain like that... and for all those who seek this as an escape, we ask that You send a mighty warrior to stop them in time, send them Your Rescue, Your Wisdom, Your Grace and Mercy. Put an end to their pain, in another gain, of coming to the arms of Jesus, drawing strength and fighting off the voices that rob them of Our Hope in Christ. Thank You that Matthew knew You and that the Warren family is receiving such a wonderful outpouring of love and support. Surround them with Your amazing love and grace. Give them strength, peace, comfort. Hold them as they grieve and weep. Defend them from all the negative publicity and all evil in Jesus precious name. You are Our Prince of Peace, Wonderful Counselor, and Everlasting Father! May all that are facing negative suicidal thoughts, receive
HOPE in You and from You to keep on keepin' it on and run the good race. Save their lives and their minds from the attack of the enemy with defeat, and give them the ability to overcome in Jesus Christ, we are more than conquerors. Rescue us. Have mercy O Lord. Deliver us from all evil.

*There was a young 15 yr. old girl (sorry I don't know her name)who also just took her life in Cal. due to being ridiculed and photos posted of her and an assault. This world is more and more depraved and we must rise up and defend our younger generation from the evil that is befalling us due to our increased tech age of posting everything at someone else's loss and shame. May integrity and dignity be restored and it begins with PRAYER, a nation on their knees, pleading for God's mercy!

Heavenly Father I come to You with a very heavy heart for my dear friend Caren. Help her Lord as her mother is brought home along with Hospice, to feel Your loving arms around Caren, her mother, and her family. I know that You can heal her mother and if that is Your will I pray that You will do it in the name of Jesus.

I agree in prayer with Denise regarding her friends. You know exactly what they need, and please bless Denise. She has such a tender heart for everyone and a dependable prayer warrior. Thank You, Father for all the friends You have given me here and at other places.

I also ask that You will heal my dh's brother who is having to take a very expensive pill for the spots in his lungs. He had been taken off that pill for a week because he is having so many reactions. He is a faithful servant for You, Father. I pray You will continue to comfort him and give him peace and hope, in the name of Jesus.

Father, I also ask that the blood work I had a few weeks ago will not show anything serious in the name of Jesus. Let me feel Your presence as I wait another week before getting the results.

Bless Peggy, Father. She also has a servant's heart. I agree with her in the prayer she posted for several people who have lost loved ones.

You, Father are so faithful, kind and loving. Thank You for helping me do what I can to help others in the name of Jesus. I love You so much and look forward to seeing You when it is my time. I pray for our country. God, please bless America and keep all of us safe from the enemy, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

PRAYER for Our Nation

This was shared in an email from the Presidential Prayer Team:

Declaration of Independence Signer

Samuel Chase
George Washington (1732-1799), 1st President of the United States

"Almighty God: We make our earnest prayer that Thou wilt keep the United States in Thy Holy protection; and Thou wilt incline the hearts of the Citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to Government; and to entertain a brotherly affection and love for one another and for their fellow Citizens of the United States at large, and particularly for their brethren who have served in the Field. And finally that Thou wilt most graciously be pleased to dispose us all to do justice, to love mercy, and to demean ourselves with that Charity, humility, and pacific temper of mind which were the Characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed Religion, and without a humble imitation of whose example in these things we can never hope to be a happy nation. Grant our supplication we beseech Thee, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen." --

This prayer of George Washington appears in St. Paul's Chapel in New York City.
