SEPTEMBER PRAYER REQUESTS

"Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken"
Ecclesiastes 4:12

This is meant to be an interactive blog based on comment and response system. That's where YOU come in, we need YOU to help the Lighthouse of Prayer work effectively by joining us in sharing your prayer requests or other's you encounter AND then by leaving a prayer for them, let them know that you are lifting them in prayer with us here.

WE REALLY NEED YOU !

This blog ONLY works if WE all JOIN together
in prayer and sharing.

We'd love to see your Prayer requests (Petitions) in what normally would be the Comment area, where others will be supporting you through their prayers hopefully, written as a response to your petition there. We'd like this to be a community of prayer, praying for one another.

We encourage you ALL to pray whenever you read a need of someone, so please respond here with a prayer also. You need not be a team member to leave a prayer for someone or bring a prayer need here. We all can lift up a prayer for each person and encourage someone, help to carry another's burden, stand with them and bless them.

This blog post is only for
PRAYER REQUESTS

Please use other posts to write other prayers
but
Your PRAYERS are always welcome here!

When you leave a prayer request,
please come back to read the prayer(s) for you.

Hopefully you will find them right under your
PRAYER REQUEST
made possible with the new feature of
REPLY

If you are praying for that prayer request
please use the REPLY right under that prayer request.

When you add a PRAYER REQUEST in comments,
please
write PRAYER REQUEST first

Thank you in the name of Jesus
let us pray

I give up; I am tired of living. Job 7:16

I am not afraid. I am going to talk because I know my own heart. Job 9:35

I am leaving you with a gift- peace of mind and heart. John 14:27

I give up....tears welling up in my eyes.

I am tired of living.....stopping to wash my face with the tears that have spilled forth from my eyes.

Hope rose up, courage came out.

I am not afraid Father...I am going to talk because You know what's in my heart.

Lord God I am Yours. I have not cursed You and laid down to die!~

Everything we have worked so hard for financially, homes, jobs, marriage, parenting, health and our place in the community of God's children, has crumbled.

God is doing something in our lives....

But turn now and plead with Almighty God; if you are so honest and pure, then God will come and help you and restore your household as your reward. All the wealth you lost will be nothing compared with what God will give you then. Job 8:5-7

Father God, heal us oh Lord and we will be healed, save us oh Lord and we will be saved for You are the One we praise...amen amen amen

Father, Please comfort Angela and restore what she and her family have lost. We agree with Job: 8:5-7, that you will restore, help and reward them. You, God, are our hope. You are the lifter of our heads. Help her, Lord, heal her hurting heart. We have faith and trust in you. Thank you that you are always with us, providing our every need. Thank you for your peace, joy and love, In Jesus name, Amen.

Prayer Request left back on August 31st but in a really old post on Healing Scriptures for Thalita with a skin disorder for 24 yrs. She left it back there and as anonymous so perhaps it's best if we leave our prayers for her back at Healing Scriptures July 26, 2009 ...

Thank you Cathy, Denise and Alice for covering all the prayer requests and Angela's need before Our Father!

Father, I come in agreement with these prayers and ask that You go beyond what we can see and move mightily by Your Spirit for favor, blessings and healing in Jesus name and authority we come boldly to You Throne. We thank You now even before we see the answer, knowing that You work all things together for good. We praise You for each intercession offered here to Your Throne and we give You all the glory and honor for what You are doing.
Be with my sisters that come and pray here, hear their prayers and meet their personal needs and those of their loved ones now and forever until You return in all Your splendor and glory, we watch and wait for Your supernatural divine power poured out and over each soul that passes by here in Jesus' precious name.

Father, I agree in prayer with Cathy, Denise, and Peggy regarding Angela. Return to her what the enemy has stolen in the name of Jesus.

Prayer Request for my self. Heavenly Father, You were with me Tuesday morning when I fell and hit the arm of a wooden rocking chair right at my jaw line. I just knew I had broken all bones and some teeth. I turned and laid my head in my recliner and just cried for how long I don't know. I do feel You understood what I was crying about and You answered my prayers. My dh called 911 because he could not get me up (he had been in the ER just a few nights before.) After the x-rays I had no broken bones at all. I did have a contusion or bruise along the jaw line, a huge one on my upper left arm and a small one at my hip. Thank You, Father for taking care of my bones. I did notice, as I'm sure You did, that my left eye did not look right but once again You took care of me. I went to see the specialist regarding the macular degeneration in my eye. He found bleeding behind the eye and said I would have to have several shots in the eye to dry up the bleeding, but Father, I believe You will heal me before I go back. You, Father, have been my rock for so many years and brought me through so many surgeries and I give You all the praise, honor and glory and thank You for being my Heavenly Father. I know in my heart that everything will be all right because there is nothing You cannot do. All I can say is Thank You, Father, thank You. I love you so much. May this prayer be an encouragement to others to follow You.
Amen. PS. Please bless my prayer partners and answer and protect them, in the name of Jesus.

O Heavenly Father, Thank You for watching over and taking care of Alice and her dh, for answering her prayers and we know You are there with them when they need you most, and dh not only called 911 quickly, but they called on You and Jeremiah 33:3. BE Alice's continual Rock and heal this bleeding in her eye and all the rest from the bruises, to her jaw, to her healing of degeneration of her eye. You are her Great Physician, Healer, Creator and El Roi! Keep Your loving eye and arms around her, do not let her fall ever again. Thank You for stirring me to pray for her specifically this week (though I can't remember which day or hour) You heard me and You heard Alice! Please LORD, guard Alice in all ways and heal her in Jesus Name.
We thank You and love You especially for rushing to her immediate attention. Thank You for her dh! Thank You for her love and praise to You! We continue to come boldly before Your Throne for You know far beyond what we do and what we can see so we trust You and ask for favor and blessings for this dear prayer warrior and precious sister. All the glory, honor and thanks is Yours, Almighty Healer and Most High! Praise You Father, Son and Holy Spirit for all of this and our prayer team in Jesus Name we come ... with love, thanks, and our adoration

President Obama Opens The Door To “Diplomatic Track” On Syria
(9/9/2013 3:25:00 PM) from
PRAYER WATCH

One day before he addresses the nation, President Obama today took a sharp turn away from his “red line” threat to Syria. During interviews with several network news anchors, Obama said he’s open to negotiations on an alternative plan that could avert a military strike.

The president was responding to a proposal, formally put forward by the Russians, to have the Assad regime turn over its chemical weapons to international control. “We will pursue this diplomatic track,” Obama told Fox News. “I fervently hope that this can be resolved in a non-military way.” While saying his advisers would “run to ground” the proposal, the president indicated that he still wants Congress to debate a resolution to authorize a strike against Syria. “I think it is important for us not to let the pedal off the metal when it comes to making sure they understand we mean what we say,” Obama said.

(Sources: Fox News, CBS)

As the Lord leads, please pray:

For President Obama and Congressional leaders as they ponder U.S. action against Syria
For a peaceful resolution to the conflict over Syria’s chemical weapons

The thousands of Syrians who have fled the nation’s civil war and become refugees

Part 1 (was too long)
Not a prayer request, just a really great prayer using the method of Praying God's Word. I really should have done another blog post to point you to Sheila and her blog but I just felt that the Lord wanted this prayer to speak to someone today (Please read the rest over at One Girl and Her God Sharing because it goes with the Bible verse we proclaim here of "Three Strands" and the Power of the Three Stranded Prayer. She has others also, perhaps she does this daily. Check out SheilaMagnum(dot)com for more

Sheila’s Prayer for you

"Father,

I love you! I approach Your throne of grace with confidence in Your everlasting unconditional love for my friend. (Hebrews 4:16) Father, in the Name of Jesus, I ask you to be the “Restorer of the Breach” for your daughter. (Isaiah 58:12) Restore back to her a strained relationship she holds very dear in her heart. (Joel 2:25) Bring wisdom, forgiveness, and understanding into each heart involved today. (James 1:5, 1 John 1:9, and Psalm 119:130) Pour Your love into all wounded hearts supernaturally. (Romans 5:5)

Show Your daughter You restore all things brand new and when YOU author a restoration things will soon be better than they have ever been. (2 Corinthians 5:17) Remind her You are the One who can change the heart of kings. (Proverbs 21:1) How? Your love. Your love is louder than any pain, regret, or seemingly impossible situation. (Jeremiah 32:17)

Father, may the two seeking reconciliation be overwhelmed with this love that can erase a wrong, give a second chance, and change a stony heart. (Ezekiel 36:26) May the healing power of forgiveness and true agape love overcome your daughter’s weary and torn heart. (Luke 7:47)

Daddy, work it out so your daughter completely forgets the pain she has become acquainted with during this difficult time. (Genesis 41:51) You will faithfully wipe away every tear from her eyes personally. (Revelation 21:4) You will remember Your daughter’s cry for restoration by “working all things out for her good.” (Romans 8:28). Reward her for seeking and trusting You by answering this prayer exceedingly and abundantly more than she can DREAM. (Hebrews 11:6 and Ephesians 3:20)"

Part 2 of the above prayer:

Father, create a healthy and God-honoring relationships for your daughter and her loved ones. In Your wisdom, reveal blind spots and hidden scars to be healed. Bring into the light words that have wounded, actions that have broken hearts, and hidden thoughts that have poisoned minds to not forgive or forget. (Ephesians 4:32) Show your daughter where she needs to re-train her thoughts and re-new her mind to Your will of total forgiveness. (Romans 12:2) Teach her to forgive completely, the way You do. (Matthew 5:48) There can be no future for her without forgiveness. (Luke 6:37) Show her true love forgives and frees.

Father, You have taught us to bless and pray for those who have hurt us, abused, or left us. You restored back DOUBLE to Job when he prayed for the friends. After Job had prayed for his friends, the LORD made him prosperous again and gave him twice as much as he had before. Job 42:10. Do the same for my friend. Restore back to her dignity, respect, and honor as she yields her heart to obey You and forgive. Where she does not want to forgive overrule her flesh. (Mark 14:38) When she struggles with this weakness be her strength. (2 Corinthians 12:9) Where she needs forgiveness grant that request. In Jesus’ Name.

Do not let Satan outwit Your daughter with his schemes. Teach her forgiveness is Your heart. This is why You are named the “Restorer of the Breach.” If there is anything to forgive I have forgiven in the sight of Christ for your sake, in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes. 2 Corinthians 2:11. Help her to forgive so she can be forgiven.(Matthew 6:15) Show her to believe in love over all things especially wrongs against her. (1 Corinthians 13)

“Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person.”
Corinthians 13:7 (AMP)

Last, whisper in her ear to forgive herself. For she is worthy of your love, worthy of Your Son’s death, and worthy of the blood that cleanses her whole and healthy. She is worthy! She has humbled herself to forgive and to ask for forgiveness, therefore; You will exalt her head high! Yes, you will. (1 Peter 5:6 and Psalm 3:3) AMEN.

You are worthy my sister. You are a daughter of the Most High God-period! When you fell down, you fell down His daughter. When you get up, you will get up His daughter. You are His child. There is never a time when God is against you, ever! You are His and His attention is upon you. His eye watches you. His hands are here to help you up. His heart is forever faithful to you. It is true. (Revelation 19:11) Amen and Amen.

Father, You are the great I AM. What does that mean for your daughter? You are whatever she needs as she seeks reconciliation. She can fill in the blanks. Say to Your child, “I AM the Restorer of the Breach, I AM your Healer. I AM your Comforter. I AM your Provider. I AM your Way Maker. I Am the One who makes all things new. I AM the One who loves unconditionally. I AM the One who holds your dreams in My Hands. I AM your help. I AM your strength. I AM anything you need me to be at any time.”

I AM _________________________. Fill in the blank my friend. He is your answer and all you need.

He is YOUR God. He is the Great I AM. (Exodus 3:14)

In the Mighty Name of Jesus we have prayed."

Maybe it's just my prayer or maybe it is meant for Angela, Denise, Cathy, or Alice or someone you know or someone who just passes by here and reads. All credit goes to Sheila and Our God!

Part 3 (Here is another one in 2 parts because they're too long from August 6, which was the last time Sheila posted a prayer, so she does not do this daily as I wrote above)

"Father,

I love you! YOU are the greatest! Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness in unsearchable. (Psalms 145:3) There are not enough words to give You the full praise deserved for Your faithfulness to Your daughter. I smile bringing her to Your throne of grace, mercy, and abundant love today! Before the foundation of the earth You set Your heart, Your never ending love, and Your full attention towards her. (Romans 8:29) How sweet You are to make her Your priority and Your masterpiece. (Ephesians 2:10) You purposely chose to be Faithful and True to Your daughter whom You love with all Your heart. (Revelation 19:11) Nothing on earth could be more healing than Your abundance of love and care for her. (1 John 4:16) Nothing! She is safe in Your love. Completely safe. (Psalm 91:4) May she rest in Your presence today. (Exodus 33:14)

Father, in the Name of Jesus, give Your daughter the strength she desperately needs to come against the paralyzing fear trying to take a tight grip of her heart and dispel it’s hold with Your complete and perfect love for her. (1 John 4:18) Your perfect love is the answer she is looking for. (1 John 4:16) Others may have forgotten her, but you have her name written on Your palm. (Isaiah 49:16) Once Your love takes a tight grip on her heart she will be overcome with joy, peace, and righteousness. (Isaiah 60:5 and Romans 14:17) Not only do You SEE her today, Your FOCUS is upon her and her heart. (1 Samuel 16:7) When You strengthen her fearful heart with Your love her sorrow and sighing will flee. (Isaiah 51:11)

Satan might have whispered a time or two in Your daughter’s ear she is unworthy. When she feels unwarranted shame and condemnation, remind her that You are not mad at her but madly in love with her! (Romans 8:38-39) Make a mighty move today to prove Your love for her just as the father did when the prodigal son came home. This loving father saw the face of his beloved son and called for a celebration! Your daughter’s face is turned towards You Father, lift her weary head up to see the love in Your eyes and call for a celebration of Your love for her! (Ephesians 3:17-21, Psalm 3:3, 2 Chronicles 16:9, Luke 15:21-22) You have not left her, not for one single minute. (Deuteronomy 31:6) You are near. (James 4:8) Whisper louder than Satan in her ear so she knows You are here for her to the end. (Acts 18:10 and Jeremiah 29:11 KJV)"

Part 4 from above:

"Father, help her to refuse to be moved by the “seen” and believe in the “unseen” work of Your Capable Hands. (2 Corinthians 4:18) Today, this day, this minute, this second, her new life of freedom, super abundance, unexpected blessings, sudden answers to prayers and happiness begins. (Isaiah 43:18-19) Amen and amen again.

Father remind her to be diligent to “Seek Ye First the Kingdom of God” and You will lift the confusion and distractions from her eyes to see clearly the path of security and protection Your kingdom gives. (Matthew 6:33 and 1 Corinthians 13:12) Remind her to resist the devil and he will flee from her. (James 4:7)

Take her face in Your hands right now and speak to her to “abide” in You continually day and night for protection, wisdom, and strength. She can do this by keeping her eyes focused on Your Word (Joshua 1:8 and John 15:4-5) and her mouth speaking Your Word. (Proverbs 21:23) Her abundant life is in speaking Your Words. (Proverbs 18:21) I pray for her heart to contain Your Words over and abundant. (Luke 6:45) I pray for her to arise and shine! (Isaiah 60:1-2)

What does Your Word say? It says, my friend is the head and not the tail. (Deuteronomy 28: 1-14) It says, peace and joy are hers because You are pleased with her. (Romans 14:17) It says, You promise to release her feet from the snare of the enemy. (Psalm 25:12-14) It says, by Jesus’ stripes she is healed. (Isaiah 53:4-5) It says, You are the Alpha, the Omega, the Beginning and the End. YOU are HER God. (Revelation 1:8) It says, You have an expected end to this current season of questioning and worry for my friend. (Jeremiah 29:11 and Daniel 2:21)

It says, dry bones hear the Word of the Lord! (Ezekiel 37:4) It says, You can breathe life into her. Life abundant. (Ezekiel 37:5 and John 10:10) Nothing is too hard for YOU! (Jeremiah 32:27) You do what you please. (Psalm 115:3) And it pleases YOU knowing my friend has the faith to believe in Your Word. (Hebrews 11:6) YOU have the first and the final Word in her life and You say, You will rescue her with Your love. Today! (Psalm 33:4-6 and Psalm 18:19) Amen.

Just as the one leper came back to thank You, we thank You for answering this prayer! (Luke 17:11-19)

In the Mighty Name of Jesus we have prayed!"

Thank You Lord for Sheila and these prayers, bless her mightily that she may continue to share prayers like these ... in Jesus' Name.

Heavenly Father, How can we not come to You this day and give You thanks and ask for Your Comfort and Protection over Your People, over the USA, over all of us, who place our trust in You wherever we may be, guard us and keep us safe from evil. Heal our nation in Jesus' Name.

We pray for the safety of American troops and weapons systems, whether in Afghanistan or the Middle East.

We pray for the relationship of the United States with its allies across the globe to remain steadfast and honest.

We pray about the many influences over our struggling national economy, and the need for significant recovery.

We pray for Israel, as they could easily be in the cross-hairs of Iran or other Syrian allies, if attacks are made on Syria.

We pray about the impact of the Affordable Care Act which begins selling health plans on October 1.

"But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason,
full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere. And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace."

James 3:17-18

"9-11-01 was a day our Nation, our friends, our families, and our church asked “How will we get through this?” But God weaved what was meant for evil into good. It’s been 12 years since that horrific day, but from the ashes we have heard stories of heroic survival, the selflessness of many, and love overflowing to heal what was one of the most difficult times of all."~Max Lucado

Open Letter – A Call to Prayer on 9-11.
Dear Prayer Team:

Today, the United States has marked the 12th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on New York City and Washington DC. The nation has also paused to remember the one year anniversary of the September 11, 2012 attack against the U.S. consulate in Benghazi that killed four Americans, including the U.S. Ambassador to Libya. ...

WHAT YOU CAN DO…PRAY NOW

As you remember the events of 9-11 and Benghazi and pray about the unfolding drama in Syria, focus your hope on heaven. “You will hear of wars and rumors of war,” Jesus said, “See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet” (Matthew 24:5-7). And remember, above all, God is in control of this seemingly out-of-control world.

PRAY FOR:

1) Comfort for those who were personally affected by the 9/11 terror events and the Benghazi attack

2) For a spirit of revival to sweep across America

3) For wisdom for America's leaders in dealing with the Syria crisis and other world trouble spots

continued from above prayer:

Heavenly Father, we continue to lift up the Syrian situation and ask You to bring a peaceful solution to the crisis and stability to the Middle East. Give President Obama and our Congressional leaders wisdom and discernment to make the right decision for our nation as they ponder the Russian proposal under consideration. On this Day of Remembrance, we ask you to protect our first responders and bring comfort to those who suffered losses on 9-11 and in Benghazi. Amen.

Prayer for America

Father, thank You for the United States and its government. I pray for the president, the national and local government, the judges, the policemen, the business leaders and all those who are in leadership positions in this country. Please protect them from the evil that is in the world and keep them safe and free from all harm.

You have promised to bless any nation that follows after You. Help us to live quiet and peaceful lives so that we can continue to spread the Good News of the Gospel throughout our land. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Presidential Prayer Team

We stand united praying for the many and the many concerns of our nation and God fearing Christians in Jesus Name. Restore to be One Nation under God (and enough of these civil liberties suits that want to change this, this is who we are as a nation, founded and established in God's Word!) If they don't like our pledge or constitution, God forbid me saying this and forgive me but let them go elsewhere. We stand under the authority of One God, through His Son Jesus Christ, we believe we are free and give thanks for our freedom to Him first and then to our military that keep us protected, give them Godly wisdom and protection in every move they make in Jesus Name, we pray.

I pray for our President who really needs to get to know You. Nothing is to hard for You. You can do what we may think is impossible. Keep our country safe and especially those who serve You. Your will be done in all that is going on. Surely the return of Your Son will be soon and I pray for all do not know Him as their Savior. Send a revival to our country in the name of Jesus.

(1)
URGENT NEED: An American believer teaching English in a sensitive country was attacked and severely beaten by radical extremists yesterday. She was medevaced to safety, but her current condition is unknown. Please pray that she will experience God’s divine healing, comfort and peace. Pray also that God will move on the hearts of her attackers to know Christ.

Please "share" this urgent need to invite your church and friends to join in prayer.

(2)Also the families and loved ones in Colorado and the victims families from (3)the Navy Yard senseless shootings once again ... for our nation's repentance and
wake up call from the top of our government all the way to each and every citizen may we take responsibility and return to "in God we trust" in every way, putting Him first!

(4) Also for the families struggling in Mexico and the many deaths(57?) and health risks and dangers still to come from the aftermath of two strong tropical storms/hurricane wrath coming in from both sides with torrential rains, flooding, roads washed out, people and homes and cars buried in mudslides, all the clean up, etc. such a heavy and sad situation. And that the corrupt govt officials get the aide to the people this time NOW!

Heavenly Father, I agree in prayer with Anonymous regarding the teacher who was attached. I pray that You will heal her wounds and her heart in the name of Jesus. Watch over all the teachers and missionaries who are working in bad situations. They are there because You called them to serve You and those who need them the most. May they feel Your loving, protective arms around them in the name of Jesus. I also lift up the victims in the path of the storms and the rains. I have family in Colorado and I pray You will protect them as well. I don't know if they are getting the rains or not but please keep them safe, in the name of Your Son, Jesus. I love You and trust You completely. Amen.

Prayer Request: Father, we lift up Jimmy, Bobbie Brantly's brother, to You and I ask that You heal him in the name of Jesus. He was in a motorcycle accident several days ago. Heavenly Father, You know the injuries he has and that his condition right now is not good. I ask that You would let him feel Your loving arms around him even though he is unconscious. I pray that if his heart is not right with You that You would speak to him and that he would ask Jesus into his heart. Father, You can do miracles that doctors can't do. I know and believe You will bring him out of this completely healed in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Of course, Father, You knew and know each time who we are lifting before You (it's just so others too may know this person). Thank You LORD, for Alice sharing and praying! Bless her mightily Father, in all her needs and for all she does in service to You as she prays with Denise and Cathy and for so many. Hear her Lord, and answer every one. Let her know that it's usually me as "anonymous" when it's a prayer except when we get spam. Block out the spam and the attacks of the enemy even when I try to leave prayers as Alice has encountered often or write blog pots (and have to do and redo) because he's not happy with all this prayer going on here. But we give You all the praise and glory and shout Hallelujah ... greater are YOU than he that is in this world. There is none like You! Thank You Lord as we join together as one strand and bring all the needs represented here before You, knowing that You hold all the answers and are just waiting to hear from us, or hear us ask You and thank You for what You do even before we see!

PRAYER for Our Nation

This was shared in an email from the Presidential Prayer Team:

Declaration of Independence Signer

Samuel Chase
George Washington (1732-1799), 1st President of the United States

"Almighty God: We make our earnest prayer that Thou wilt keep the United States in Thy Holy protection; and Thou wilt incline the hearts of the Citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to Government; and to entertain a brotherly affection and love for one another and for their fellow Citizens of the United States at large, and particularly for their brethren who have served in the Field. And finally that Thou wilt most graciously be pleased to dispose us all to do justice, to love mercy, and to demean ourselves with that Charity, humility, and pacific temper of mind which were the Characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed Religion, and without a humble imitation of whose example in these things we can never hope to be a happy nation. Grant our supplication we beseech Thee, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen." --

This prayer of George Washington appears in St. Paul's Chapel in New York City.
