DECEMBER PRAYER REQUESTS

"Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken"
Ecclesiastes 4:12

This is meant to be an interactive blog based on comment and response system. That's where YOU come in, we need YOU to help the Lighthouse of Prayer work effectively by joining us in sharing your prayer requests or other's you encounter AND then by leaving a prayer for them, let them know that you are lifting them in prayer with us here.

WE REALLY NEED YOU !

This blog ONLY works if WE all JOIN together
in prayer and sharing.

We'd love to see your Prayer requests (Petitions) in what normally would be the Comment area, where others will be supporting you through their prayers hopefully, written as a response to your petition there. We'd like this to be a community of prayer, praying for one another.

We encourage you ALL to pray whenever you read a need of someone, so please respond here with a prayer also. You need not be a team member to leave a prayer for someone or bring a prayer need here. We all can lift up a prayer for each person and encourage someone, help to carry another's burden, stand with them and bless them.

This blog post is only for
PRAYER REQUESTS

Please use other posts to write other prayers
but
Your PRAYERS are always welcome here!

When you leave a prayer request,
please come back to read the prayer(s) for you.

Hopefully you will find them right under your
PRAYER REQUEST
made possible with the new feature of
REPLY

If you are praying for that prayer request
please use the REPLY right under that prayer request.

When you add a PRAYER REQUEST in comments,
please
write PRAYER REQUEST first

Thank you in the name of Jesus
let us pray

Heavenly Father, Thank You for sending Jesus as we celebrate this season of His birth and giving us the precious gift of salvation, we find through Him for an eternal life with You. Hello saints, I would appreciate prayers for my mom. We are moving her out of her care facility whenever a new bed comes available. In the meantime the facility where she lives now wants to move her internally. We'd like to avoid that because every move negatively affects my mother's health. Please pray for her not to move and for God to protect and enhance her health.

Please pray for my brother who must travel through high mountain passes soon to deal with some of my mother's needs. I may travel too but it is more likely my brother will travel alone.

Father, I am agreeing in prayer with Joyful for her mother. Please protect her and touch her improving her health. Let her stay where she is comfortable. In Jesus name, Amen.

Heavenly Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus, asking that You answer Joyful's prayers. I also agree with Cathy for Joyful's Mom that everything will fall into place for the healing of her Mom. Thank You for the privilege of being able to talk to You about not only our needs but others who come here with requests. Bless You and thank You for the answers. Love You so much.

Dear Lord Jesus, In your mighty name and by your healing stripes, I lift my brother in law Daniel up to you for healing. Lord Jesus please heal Daniel of this cancer that is in his brain. Father we ask that you go before and make for divine appointments with every doctor, nurse and care giver that comes into contact with Daniel. Also Lord please watch over and keep my sister Lisa (Daniel's wive) in your care, and give her hope and comfort in this time in their lives. May you be Glorified Lord in Daniels complete healing and we thank you for this in your mighty name!!!! Thank you Jesus

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, Your Son, I ask that You will answer Paula's prayer for her brother-in-law and remove every trace of cancer in his brain and anywhere else in his body it might be. You are all powerful and Your Son, Jesus paid the price at The Cross for things just like this. Bless Your name, Father, bless Your name. We give you all glory, honor and praise for what You will do for this young man and his wife. Amen.

Obrigada Senhor
Por ter alimento,
quando tantos passam o ano com fome.

Por ter saúde,
quando tantos sofrem neste momento.

Por ter um lar,
quando tantos dormem nas ruas.

Por ser feliz,
quando tantos choram na solidão.

Por ter amor,
quantos tantos vivem no ódio.

Pela minha paz,
quando tantos vivem o horror da guerra.

FELIZ NATAL E UM ANO NOVO
NA PRESENÇA DO DEUS TODO PODEROSO
JESUS CRISTO, SENHOR E SALVADOR NOSSO!!!

Em Cristo,
***Lucy***

PRAYER for Our Nation

This was shared in an email from the Presidential Prayer Team:

Declaration of Independence Signer

Samuel Chase
George Washington (1732-1799), 1st President of the United States

"Almighty God: We make our earnest prayer that Thou wilt keep the United States in Thy Holy protection; and Thou wilt incline the hearts of the Citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to Government; and to entertain a brotherly affection and love for one another and for their fellow Citizens of the United States at large, and particularly for their brethren who have served in the Field. And finally that Thou wilt most graciously be pleased to dispose us all to do justice, to love mercy, and to demean ourselves with that Charity, humility, and pacific temper of mind which were the Characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed Religion, and without a humble imitation of whose example in these things we can never hope to be a happy nation. Grant our supplication we beseech Thee, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen." --

This prayer of George Washington appears in St. Paul's Chapel in New York City.
