Father God, I claim this verse for my children now grown and away from You that You would draw them back!

I thank You for Your mercies are new every morning! Thank You that You allow us to repent! Thank You for the gift of the Holy Spirit!

Repentance & baptism for every one of us and our loved ones listed in
"For Salvation Only" in the Name of Jesus Christ.

Thank You for when we confess our sins, that You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us.

Thank You for all whom You are calling! Grant us mercy & forgiveness & bring us into repentance of all You desire to remove from our lives!

Pray for President Obama and his advisors as they host a healthcare reform forum today at the White House. The meeting’s purpose is to hear from those who are concerned about the cost of healthcare reform, and includes members of Congress, physicians and interest groups. Pray for godly guidance for the President and all involved.

Pray for President Obama on 3/6 as he travels to Columbus, OH to highlight the economic stimulus, asking God’s guidance for the President and those with whom he speaks. Pray for wisdom for him and members of his team who continue to distribute these funds. Pray that the funds released this week for public works will be used diligently and wisely to alleviate the recession and to help those in need of employment.

As President Obama continues to travel the country, pray for his protection and safety at every turn. Pray that those who may seek to harm him or members of his administration will be foiled before they are able to carry out their plans.

The Department of the Interior celebrated its 160th birthday this week; President Obama paid a brief visit to the department thanking employees for their service. Once more heavenly Father, I join Denise in PRAISING YOU for the salvation of her brother-in-law!

Now Lord, bring complete repentance and deliverance to him! Take the thirst for alcohol and dry it up and replace it with a thirst for YOU! Set him free from this in Jesus Name! You have the victory of his life eternally, now take away the desires of the natural man and replace it with a heart and desire for You! Quench not Your Holy Spirit.

We stand at the gate and`knock, asking that You continue bringing more people to salvation in Jesus!

Thank You Lord! Continue to work in Him & guard him from the enemy so that he cannot get back into his life to rob, steal or destroy anymore of his life! Protect him from this weakness & continue to surround him with people who will build him up in things of You! May he never want to drink again! May it be bitter to him! May he realize the harm it has done & bring him to a place for help day by day, step by step away from this source and draw him to the Only Source & Power
in YOU! Thank You Father & we desire all this in Jesus name giving You all the glory, power & honor. The victory for each soul was won on Calvary & He was raised from the dead to set all captives!
Thank You for this victory! We await more each day! Glory! Alleluia! Praise to You!

Lord, protect us in our struggle against evil.

As we begin the discipline of this season, make this time holy by our self-denial.

May the light of Your truth bestow sight to the darkness of our sinful eyes and our repentance bring us the blessing of Your forgiveness and the gift of new life.

Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
Amen.

We pray especially for all member of our military Psalm 91 over them and for their families also. We continue to ask for Your Divine Protection over them as they serve our nation! We ask for You to strengthen & secure marriage & parental relationships.
For all those who are struggling, we give them & their struggles to You, asking to keep their best interests at heart as You sustain & help them to this enormous adjustment in their lives & sacrifice of their time. Bless each one in Your considerable favor & abundant Source from all their many needs emotionally, physically, spiritually, and psychologically.
We all are in this "battle" & You are Our Commander in Chief.

Holy and wise God, in You are hidden all the riches of wisdom and knowledge. You are exalted high above all authority and power and no one can fathom Your greatness. Thank You for your kindness and generosity toward us, for You offer to us knowledge and understanding that helps us overcome our fallen nature. Thank You for this kind gift, O God, and thank You for all You do to help us succeed in fulfilling our calling in You.

Today I pray for President Obama, asking that You stir his heart first, to recognize his need for wisdom from You. Call his heart to Yours, O Father, and let him yearn for godly wisdom with every part of his being. Draw his heart to Yours, Loving God, and may he clearly see Your rich provision of needed wisdom the very first time he asks, encouraging him to ask again and again and again. I pray this in Jesus’ holy name. I give You all thanks and praise!

Oh Father, I pray that we would each hear the voice of Jesus, that we would respond to His voice, and that we might live ever-mindful that You wish to commune with us. Ever since the first time You spoke to Your creatures in the Garden of Eden, to the moment when we enter glory and forever shall be with You, how we long to hear and respond to Your voice! We love You, and ask that You would open our hearts, illumine our minds, quicken our spirits, motivate our wills, and engage us to be Your pleasing servants through exposure to Your Word. We pray that Christ will get all the glory, and that we be purified that we may offer exceedingly precious and fragrant worship to You. In the blessed name of Jesus we pray. Amen.

PRAYER for Our Nation

This was shared in an email from the Presidential Prayer Team:

Declaration of Independence Signer

Samuel Chase
George Washington (1732-1799), 1st President of the United States

"Almighty God: We make our earnest prayer that Thou wilt keep the United States in Thy Holy protection; and Thou wilt incline the hearts of the Citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to Government; and to entertain a brotherly affection and love for one another and for their fellow Citizens of the United States at large, and particularly for their brethren who have served in the Field. And finally that Thou wilt most graciously be pleased to dispose us all to do justice, to love mercy, and to demean ourselves with that Charity, humility, and pacific temper of mind which were the Characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed Religion, and without a humble imitation of whose example in these things we can never hope to be a happy nation. Grant our supplication we beseech Thee, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen." --

This prayer of George Washington appears in St. Paul's Chapel in New York City.
