original post started here with her photos, entitled URGENT PRAYERS NEEDED

LAYLA GRACE... Just look at this precious FACE! And then PRAY! PRAY! PRAY!

I learned about this precious child by visiting Nicole at "
As My World Turns..." She daily has been sharing updates and information but this is not her child, she just has taken the burden and has a heart for this precious little one and her parents, holding them up in prayer. You can visit her initial blog post about this with much information:

Precious little Layla Grace is a two year old who is, what they have been told, in her last days of battling stage 4 neuroblastoma. She is a sweet, caring, loving little girl who can no longer hold her head up and cries in pain if she even tries. Barring a miracle, her parents and sisters only have a few days left with her, if even that. She is, inexplicably, holding on with everything she has. They were told three weeks ago that she would die within the week. She is still here... to CONTINUE READING and also the consecutive updates each day, current one from Layla's mother, Shanna...but to view the beauty of this child, visit Nicole's Word Filled Wednesday

Please continue to pray for little Layla Grace's comfort and healing. She is an exceptional little girl. You can follow her story at the link in her name or via Layla Grace's Twitter. Go there and give her family some prayer support as well for strength, comfort, wisdom,....how ever God leads you.

The sad thing is there are many needs like this and we need to stand together and uplift these precious ones for Jesus' healing and touch, for comfort for the families, and on and on... after all God love the little children, they need not suffer so...

For The Children

O Father God, be with the children. When they suffer, ease their pain. When they play, increase their joy. When they learn, grant them truth. Let them be children as long as they can, please do not allow their childhood to be rushed in any way. Protect them from the enemy, surround them with Your love and protection. They are our future.

Jehovah Rapha...You are the Healer for Layla Grace! You can touch this little one and take away her suffering by giving her your comfort and holding her in Your arms along with her parents. Be their comfort and strength. Surround this little one with angels just like her and
heal her little body and brain. You are Mighty and able to change the impossible. You are greater and stronger than any infirmity, even neuroblastoma! Layla needs a miracle and You are a God of Miracles! We believe in You & Miracles! Give strength to Shanna
and her daddy (sorry I don't know his name) Claire and Jenna.

Give Layla comfort physically and spiritually. We stand with this precious family and wrap our arms around them for You!

Here are the prayers requested written by them back on Valentine's:

"Please pray for her comfort; both physically and spiritually. Please pray that she knows how much God loves her and she isn’t scared about what she is feeling and what is happening. Please pray for minimal pain and suffering. Please pray for Claire and Jenna. They are so confused and uncertain about what is happening. They cannot fully grasp the finality of her impending death. I can hardly grasp the finality of what is happening."

My heart aches as I read their words Father, so I know that yours does also. You have done much since this day and Layla is still fighting. We praise You for each day You bless her family with her presence and Yours! WE thank You and ask for Your mighty strength for these precious parents and family and friends that know Layla.
May we stand with them believing in Your will is perfect but we know that if they love her how much more You love Layla.

Thank You for Layla Grace!

ohhh Father...how my heart aches for Layla Grace, her mom and dad, her sisters... each one need Your healing touch... Ohhh Jehovah Rapha, we thank You for the miracle of Layla Grace and each day, we ask that You ease her pain and suffering, right now she is so weak, but You, El Roi are there for Layla Grace, Shanna, Ryan, Jenna, Claire and the rest of their family.

Layla is so weak and fragile, O Lord... not even waking up for a few days through all the changes,
hold her Lord, caress her little head and embrace that little tired body with all the compassion and grace You have to give her and still bring miracles.

Help the sisters to understand and not have to struggle. Bless this family with an outpouring of Your love through others. Be EL ROI to them right now. Be Jehovah Rapha.
May You send Your Comforter and Peace to this precious one and her family and their friends. We thank You for the outpouring and we ask that You Jehovah Jireh financially
meet their every need...since layoff hit this home right before this urgent need of medical care.

How much more O Lord? We cry out and ask for strength & that the Holy Spirit pray as Kathy prays when our own words fail us and touch Layla Grace deep in her spirit, the words spoken by her family and that she hears You whisper her name in love, easing her pain, miracles abounding, embracing her and her family.

In Jesus Name.

My Husband Died Today March 8th
by Shelby

I would appreciate your prayers for our 5 kids, 4 grandkids and my elderly in-laws. Thank you. PS So many of you are asking... I am numb alternating with feeling grief worse than I think I can bear. I like numb better as I have so much to do and attend to starting with the five kids. Thanks for your prayers and your love.

Shelby Shares * I can't link to her from here. Hopefully someone can get the word out and shower Shelby and kids with our love.

*******WE JUST GOT WORD THAT LAYLA GRACE HAS PASSED ON TO THE ARMS OF JESUS*******

She passed away early this morning and is now playing with the angels. free from pain, sickness and fear. Free to run and laugh and play with abandon. In a place of perfect peace, joy and rest.

From Melanie's blog March 9th

Today marks 12 weeks since Andrew went to Heaven. I realize how awkward it must be to leave a comment. But I am so grateful for your visits, your words of encouragement and your prayers.....

And today I told God, "I know You hear me when I pray."

"Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. And I know that You always hear Me..." John 11:41-42.

Ohh WOW...I was on Blogger from 2005-2007 (*Until the Blogger/Google switch kicked me off.*) posting my art work, as well as commenting with many other artists. I was just browing around tonight/this morning, checking out all of the old Blogger friends I had made back then, when I came across your Blog on complete accident.

This Blog is absolutely AMAZING & INCREDIBLE to me!! I think it is so WONDERFUL what you ALL are doing, offering and saying on this Blog...It truly brings A LOT of hope, joy and LOVE, in so many ways.

I am 23 years old, I have had two heart surgeries, as well as a PaceMaker implant in 2008...When I look at these children who need prayers, support and life, I sometimes see myself, knowing I was once in their place. It's groups like YOURS that help keep people ALIVE, HEALTHY & HOPEFUL. Keep up the AMAZING work!! I will be LINKING this Blog on my official website, as well!!

Thank you so much for doing what you all are doing and thank you ALL for being YOU!!!! I wish you ALL the very, VERY BEST in ALL that you do!! Take care, love, hugs and prayers to you ALL!!

Thank you,
~Jon~

Heavenly Father, We thank You for leading Jon here! We ask that You bless his heart and cause his heart to run perfectly as You have created Him. We praise You for the success of the two surgeries and thank you for the PaceMaker implant yet we know that You are ELOHIM, who created Jon and made Him in Your image. You are His Great Physician. You are His Hope! You give life to Him and can restore His heart. He is too young also to be bearing such heavy heart problems so touch Him in Jesus Him.
Draw Him closer to You!

Thank You for the gift of art and how he shares his gift.
Art is life and life is art but You O Lord Elohim are the Greatest Artist! We give You all the glory, honor and praise. Thank You for the opportunity to join together in prayer (with a fellow Minnesotan)!

Let You Son shine in Jon's life and bring HOPE each day! Thank You, Lord for his encouragement! Fill Jon with Your Presence and remind us always to be united in prayer for the needs of those around us.

Thank You! Praise You! We love You Lord!

Dear Father God, I come to You on behalf of the family of precious Layla Grace, give them much comfort as they say goodbye to their beautiful daughter. I also pray for dear Melanie, she continues to grief over her son Andrew. Wipe her tears, and hold her gently. Please also be with Shelby, her children, and sweet grandchildren as they make their final goodbyes to their husband, father, and grandfather. Give all of these dear ones peace, and much love. I ask these things in Your holy name. Amen

PRAYER for Our Nation

This was shared in an email from the Presidential Prayer Team:

Declaration of Independence Signer

Samuel Chase
George Washington (1732-1799), 1st President of the United States

"Almighty God: We make our earnest prayer that Thou wilt keep the United States in Thy Holy protection; and Thou wilt incline the hearts of the Citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to Government; and to entertain a brotherly affection and love for one another and for their fellow Citizens of the United States at large, and particularly for their brethren who have served in the Field. And finally that Thou wilt most graciously be pleased to dispose us all to do justice, to love mercy, and to demean ourselves with that Charity, humility, and pacific temper of mind which were the Characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed Religion, and without a humble imitation of whose example in these things we can never hope to be a happy nation. Grant our supplication we beseech Thee, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen." --

This prayer of George Washington appears in St. Paul's Chapel in New York City.
