TIME TO PRAY

CONTINUATION of TIME TO PRAY ("When a Nation Looses God's Protection" series)



As we approach the end of Lent, and upcoming National Day of Prayer, (since I just missed the March 5th World Day of Prayer in Cameroon), and then the GLOBAL DAY OF PRAYER in 72 days

IT IS TIME TO GET ON OUR KNEES and REPENT!

You might say that you have not done any of this, or caused this or that, but this isn't about blame; this is about coming together as One Nation under God, (nay) one Kingdom under God's authority in corporate prayer, seeking His face, His forgiveness, His mercy as WE MAKE A DIFFERENCE united under Godly principles.

IT IS TIME TO PRAY IN ALL of AMERICA, NORTH to SOUTH!

GOD IS OUR ONLY TRUE HOPE!

and

PRAYER is OUR GREATEST RESOURCE!

Heavenly Father, We come before You and repent. We repent as a nation. We repent as individuals. Change our hearts O Lord, forgive for any part that is hardened and turned against You and Your righteousness. We are so undeserving of Your mercy, but we beg You to forgive us and heal our land from North to South. Unite us Lord to seek Your will and Your plan. We cry out to You, El Roi, for You see the hidden and the seen, You see all things.
Convict each of us, that we examine our own lives and our hearts. Forgive us where we have failed You. Save our nation. Protect Your people. Help us Lord to repent before You for the many things we have stood by and allowed! There is so much work to be done in Your Kingdom and we ask You to lead us in these days. We give You thanks for each day You tarry so that we can reach the lost and those who still have not come to recognize You as Lord & Savior. You are our hope. You and Only You can turn this around. We give You all glory, honor and praise...in Jesus Name

amen amen amen...''oh sweet sister, this is exactly what I've been doing these last two day.s Bringing God's children as a whole and asking for forgiveness. When I prayed with you I praised God that He placed upon your heart to write this out. It was something I was going to do today myself on my Fearless Friday post....

I KNEW I could count on you in joining me today..SIGH...you KNOW exactly how I feel about this...

"Almighty God: We make our earnest prayer that Thou wilt keep the United States in Thy Holy protection; and Thou wilt incline the hearts of the Citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to Government; and to entertain a brotherly affection and love for one another and for their fellow Citizens of the United States at large, and particularly for their brethren who have served in the Field. And finally that Thou wilt most graciously be pleased to dispose us all to do justice, to love mercy, and to demean ourselves with that Charity, humility, and pacific temper of mind which were the Characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed Religion, and without a humble imitation of whose example in these things we can never hope to be a happy nation. Grant our supplication we beseech Thee, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen." --

This prayer of George Washington appears in St. Paul's Chapel in New York City.
