I praise you, O Lord, for your awesome and holy being. I thank you for the life you have given me. I appreciate the beautiful blessings you have provided in the earth around me and the simple, but important, things of life. Thank you for family--my birth family, my extended family, my family of the church. Please forgive me of taking them for granted sometimes, and help me to always show my appreciation and love to them. Thank you for taking care of me. Thank you for answering my prayers in the way that you know is best. Thank you for always being here for me. With all my love, in the name of Jesus I pray, amen.

Father,
I don't even know how many times that I felt like I was a barrier to You getting through to the people that I have been praying for constantly. Some for salvation for than 35 years, some that were saved and seeds planted by wonderful church family but now not living for You. Remove me from being any obstacle or stumbling block for others or even my own prayers according to Your Word & Will. May every word and thought flow from You.

I do pray through Your Word and ask all according to Your will.

I seek Your will and hearing You clearly.

I confess my sins, repent of them and as far as I know I do not harbor any unforgiveness, but if there is any, I beseech You to remove all. I forgive each person who may have caused me hurt or pain, words of bad intent or unintentional. I ask that You also
cleanse me all my unholy words or actions. I renew my mind by Your Word and through Your grace.

I thank You for great teachings like this and teachers like Kay Arthur, Stormie Omartian and even my local leaders in my church. Bless each one and each study that I may be approved in all I learn!
Thank You so much for each precious person that prays here. I stand with them and shout AMEN!

Love on us today and love through us in Jesus Name

Dear God, There are people in this world that I can learn so much from; people who have gone through hard things that have strengthened their faith, people who have been Christians for years and are so much more spiritually mature than I am. On the other hand, there are people in this world who can learn from me. Please show me if there is someone you would have me be a mentor to or someone who should be my mentor. And please, keep working on me so that I might be the witness in the world that you want me to be. Thank you, Lord. In Jesus' name. Amen.

PRAYER for Our Nation

This was shared in an email from the Presidential Prayer Team:

Declaration of Independence Signer

Samuel Chase
George Washington (1732-1799), 1st President of the United States

"Almighty God: We make our earnest prayer that Thou wilt keep the United States in Thy Holy protection; and Thou wilt incline the hearts of the Citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to Government; and to entertain a brotherly affection and love for one another and for their fellow Citizens of the United States at large, and particularly for their brethren who have served in the Field. And finally that Thou wilt most graciously be pleased to dispose us all to do justice, to love mercy, and to demean ourselves with that Charity, humility, and pacific temper of mind which were the Characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed Religion, and without a humble imitation of whose example in these things we can never hope to be a happy nation. Grant our supplication we beseech Thee, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen." --

This prayer of George Washington appears in St. Paul's Chapel in New York City.
