CONTINUE TO PRAY GOD'S WORD

Let's continue to PRAY with POWER for one another by praying God's WORD, the Bible!

The Power of Praying® Through the Bible

(Paperback - Aug. 1, 2008)

Stormie has many books on PRAYER and there are many others that I used when I began with my passion for praying, interceding and spiritual warfare. My life has been filled with learning to pray but we all know that the Lord's Prayer, spoken by Jesus is the model prayer.

Here are some additional books that I started with:

Prayers That Avail Much: 25th Anniversary Commemorative Gift Edition (Prayers That Avail Much) (Prayers That Avail Much)
though I had the old version, Volume One
Product Details
And the other favorite of mine (my pages are falling out from the use) but soon they just became part of my praying:

Prayers That Prevail: The Believer's Manual of Prayers

It truly is a BELIEVER'S MANUAL and the beginning walks us through the Lord's Prayer as a model...

So now, let's continue to choose scripture and pray, one for another...

"...ALLOW THE HOLY SPIRIT TO MAKE THE WORD A REALITY IN YOUR HEART..."

Prayer does not cause faith to work, but faith causes prayer to work
~ PRAYERS THAT AVAIL MUCH ~

*Remember try to include a scripture and comments should be
PRAYERS LIFTED TO THE THRONE of GOD
(if you have other prayers or requests
please choose another post here)

TOGETHER
our prayers avail much!!!

Prayer response for Denise's prayer in previous post

Galatians 5:1
Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. (KJV)

Lord Jesus, You came to preach the gospel to the poor, heal the broken hearted, preach deliverance to the captives and recovering sight to the blind. (Isaiah 61:1)

You have also promised to set at liberty those who are bruised.(Luke 4:18)

May D's brother-in-law (HE) acknowledge HIS addiction to alcohol that has made HIM captive and has bruised HIM and his precious wife (& family) in many ways.

More than that Lord, You know that this addiction is really not the root of anyone's problem that struggles with alcohol or whatever is hindering them-it is only a symptom of the real root which is their hurt, rejection, bitterness, resentment and lack of esteem and love for self. They know this is not Your will for them to be captive to any addiction and that You desire to be Lord in every area of our lives. We ask You to come in power and deliver us as we pray.

Lord, if there is any sin in our lives, in (HIS) b-i-l's life that has opened the door to this addiction, show it to him and reveal it to us! If there is any unforgiveness, bitterness, or judgement of others, any evil speaking, hatred of others or self, any wrath, sinful anger, jealousy or any other sins, reveal them to us now and may we confess, may HE confess and repent of them so that You may heal us. As You show us and HIM, our sins, may we say, "Yes that is sin and not pleasing to You and we confess them as sin and turn from them in deep heartfelt repentance. We ask Your forgiveness for these sins. Thank You, Lord, that You are cleansing us from our sins as we confess and admit them and all unrighteousness by Your blood.(1 John 1:9)

If there are any unhealed wounds or hurts in HIS life that are doorways for this addiction, show them to HIM so HE may acknowledge them as true. May HE be willing to face the truth You bring, Lord, because You said the truth will make HIM free.
(John 8:32)

Lord, may HE repent specifically of the sin of this addiction of alcohol. May HE renounce it now, Lord...

Thank You Father for setting HIM free in Jesus' name...

Psalm 3:3-But Thou, O Lord, art a shield for me, my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. Father God, just as David realized that You were his strength, his power, and his glory, so do I. You alone, lift my head when I am cast down from lifes burdens, and You restore my joy. You are my joy, now, and forever. I love You Father. Amen.

"Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood." Acts 20:28 (NIV)

Almighty God, please be at work in our churches today through the Holy Spirit calling those you want and we desperately need into leadership roles in your church.

I lift up all the shepherds, pastors, leaders and volunteers that make up the body of Christ that they would hear Your voice and know You and follow Your will. Anoint them afresh with Your Holy Spirit that a holy fire may stir in them and be contagious to all. That we all would fall under the Holy Spirit's conviction and fire. That our passion would rise up as we become the united body of Christ, reaching out and serving as Jesus, being a body that uplifts each other in prayer, exhortation, encouragement.

I ask forgiveness, dear Father, for not valuing your church more highly and pledge to more fully cherish it as You do. In Jesus' name I offer these thanksgivings and commitments. Amen.

Mt 13:38..........Father, I pray for those out in the mission fields. They have dedicated their lives to spreading Your word to those who otherwise, may never have the opportunity to hear about You.They are willing to give up everything,You are their only need. Father, may we all rise up, and proclaim Your good news everywhere we go. Right in our own countries, states, homes, back yards. We must spread Your words, and quickly. Thank You for the opportunities Father, may we not let them slip away. Amen.

Give all your worries and cares to God, for He cares about you.(NLT)
1 Peter 5:7

Psalm 55:22 Cast your burden upon the LORD and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken.

Thank You LORD...I give You each worry and every care I need, because Your Word promises me that if I do, You will carry that burden; You will sustain me;
You will not allow me to be shaken!
My righteousness is found in Christ Jesus and I thank You so much! I put on the breastplate of Christ's righteousness along with the full armor of God! As I release any anxiety to You, the enemy looses that hold on me and You take control and care completely for me.
Anything and everything I surrender to You, You cast far away from me!
Thank You! I love You!

And I pray this also for each person who comes here, weary or not, may You carry them today!

Thank You for Denise and her daily faithfulness to pray a verse, bless her and show her favor right where You see that she needs for this day and each day...give her a bountiful portion, more grace, more love and abundance overflowing on her life and through her life in Jesus Name

Col 3:2............ "Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. Dear heavenly Father, may we all set our minds on things above, instead of on earthly things. PRAYER for Our Nation

This was shared in an email from the Presidential Prayer Team:

Declaration of Independence Signer

Samuel Chase
George Washington (1732-1799), 1st President of the United States

"Almighty God: We make our earnest prayer that Thou wilt keep the United States in Thy Holy protection; and Thou wilt incline the hearts of the Citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to Government; and to entertain a brotherly affection and love for one another and for their fellow Citizens of the United States at large, and particularly for their brethren who have served in the Field. And finally that Thou wilt most graciously be pleased to dispose us all to do justice, to love mercy, and to demean ourselves with that Charity, humility, and pacific temper of mind which were the Characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed Religion, and without a humble imitation of whose example in these things we can never hope to be a happy nation. Grant our supplication we beseech Thee, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen." --

This prayer of George Washington appears in St. Paul's Chapel in New York City.
