POWER IN PRAYER

STORMIE OMARTIAN

The Power of a Praying® Woman Prayer and Study Guide (Power of Praying)

"The Power of A Praying Woman"

I ordered and received this, in a flash, through Kindle for PC, for a great reduced price, including the study guide. Sure, there are many others, I probably need like "The Power of the Praying Wife" but I decided, as a woman, this was too good of an offer to pass up, even though she has some more recent books that are just as great ... like

by Stormie Omartian(Paperback - July 1, 2009)

(Paperback - Jan. 1, 2009)

(Paperback - Aug. 1, 2008)
Beth has this one (maybe we can get her to share some more, too over HERE)

Stormie's list is endless and never a disappointment!

I even have this one in SPANISH because I couldn't wait to get home to buy it in English. This is an unpaid, no profit to anyone, personal recommendation (not even the new deal that Amazon has for linking up books via Blogger)

Since a STUDY GUIDE is included, don't be surprised to find me sharing MORE either here or on my regular blog or another team blog in the near future... as God leads and permits.

Stormie's books are great, and I highly recommend them for not only improving your prayer life but drawing us deeper and deeper into a relationship with God.

Yes, I do have The Power of Praying Through the Bible...I'm up to Joshua 9. This has put a new perspective on parts of the Old Testament that I didn't understand or missed.

I did start this on The Power of Your Love blog....perhaps, perhaps...I would need to start all over again....start at the beginning to share.

My prayer for this day:

My Father,

Keep me close by Your side this day. Help me to remember to inquire of You regarding EVERYTHING that may happen on this day....even the smallest decision. I've often said that everything is a choice. Let me come to You about each choice I have to make today....big or small.

I know that nothing is too insignificant for You. You are my Father, and You care and love me more than I can every imagine. You want to be involved in every aspect of my life.

It's not You, but me, that keeps You from being involved in every single decision, every single word, every single thought that I have.

Cover me, Lord, with Your gloriousness and Your holiness and carry me through this day.

In Your Son's most precious Name I pray,

Amen...

AMEN! and amen to my sister Beth's beautiful prayer! Draw us nearer! Fill us overflowing with Your Power.
Cover us completely!

Be with Beth this day and every day!
Continue to change the things around her that are not of You or from You or in any way Your desire or will for Beth. Show her Your way! Be close to her every step of the way, in every thought and every interaction. Be present. Go before Beth and fight the battles and storms that her work give her. Build her up Lord and protect her each day from the snares of the enemy. As she puts on the full armor of God each day, may nothing be able to penetrate and cause her to weary. Beth is Your daughter.
Keep her in Your Word and sharing Your Word. May her light be strengthened when she is overwhelmed. Lead her to the Rock.
Hold her up! Lift her above the earthly clamor and draw her close.

Thank You Heavenly Father for hearing us. We declare that the enemy in our lives and the darkness that surrounds us will not overcome us but that You will rise up and defend us, showing us Your way, Your love, Your grace and that nothing...not one small thing is ever too insignificant as we surrender to You, may You battle for us in Jesus Name... we proclaim
You are Lord, You are mighty, You are sufficient, and all glory, honor and power is Yours and comes from You!!! Halleluia! We are victors in Christ Jesus!

We love You!

We praise You!

We glorify You and Your most holy Name.

And we give You thanks!

Bless each of the people who come here. Hear the cries of their hearts and their unspoken/unwritten requests...bless this team and keep us in prayer, as we need You and need to stay close each day. You are our Guard, You are the balm of Gilead, You are our Light, You are our Strength, You give us joy and so much more...because You are the breath we breathe and the song in our hearts, You are our everything.

My prayer for this morning:

My Father,

I confess to You that there are times when I rely on my own strength and my own past experiences with You to carry me through.

Help me to always remember who You are, how powerful and mighty You are, that You control our universe.

You love us enough to give us free will--choices to make every day. Help me to turn to You in every choice I make. Let me not rest on my own past experiences with You or even faith in others.

Renew me daily with my own faith in You and my love for You so that I come to know You better each and every moment of every day as I strive to become more and more like You.

Do not let me fall away. Keep me here and help to have a deeper and deeper relationship and experience all that You have for me--wonders beyond my own imagination--each and every day.

In Your Son, Jesus Christ's name I pray.....Amen

Dear heavenly Father, thank You for guiding me through the maze of life. You never let go of my hand, so I know I will never get lost. I love You with all I am. Amen

Good morning Father God, my prayer is that all of those who are lost without You, would turn away from the world, and turn toward You. That by the end of today, they will truly surrender all to You, and belong to Your Kingdom. I love You Father. Amen

In response to Denise's prayer this morning, I say AMEN!!! AMEN!!!

My Father,

I know so many who are lost and struggling in this world. They are harboring anger, resentments, bitterness, unforgiveness in their lives. They do not realize that YOU are the ONE who can set them free!!

I, too, pray that all those who do not know and love You will come to You. You love each and everyone one of us....including those who don't know and love You.

You paid a great price for our freedom, and You set me free more and more every day. I pray that You will use me so that others see not me, but You in me.

I praise Your Name and lift You high and thank You that You paid the price and are my Savior.

In Your Beautiful Name!!

Dear heavenly Father, I come to you this morning on behalf of my dear brother in-law Daniel. Father, satan and his demons are raging battle with Daniels life. He is an alcoholic, that is all he does all day, everyday. It is consuming him, and is all he cares about. It is greatly affecting my sister's life also. He does not go to church, and will not take her. She loves You so very much Father. Please pour Your Spirit all over Daniel, and convict his heart Father. Save him from the fires of hell, please Father. I love You, and believe You will answer my prayer. Amen

PRAYER for Our Nation

This was shared in an email from the Presidential Prayer Team:

Declaration of Independence Signer

Samuel Chase
George Washington (1732-1799), 1st President of the United States

"Almighty God: We make our earnest prayer that Thou wilt keep the United States in Thy Holy protection; and Thou wilt incline the hearts of the Citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to Government; and to entertain a brotherly affection and love for one another and for their fellow Citizens of the United States at large, and particularly for their brethren who have served in the Field. And finally that Thou wilt most graciously be pleased to dispose us all to do justice, to love mercy, and to demean ourselves with that Charity, humility, and pacific temper of mind which were the Characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed Religion, and without a humble imitation of whose example in these things we can never hope to be a happy nation. Grant our supplication we beseech Thee, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen." --

This prayer of George Washington appears in St. Paul's Chapel in New York City.
