TIME TO PRAY with FEARLESS FRIDAY

Today is FEARLESS FRIDAY so please
be sure to join us in prayer...

Photobucket

for many in need,
with Angela @ Free Spirit Haven!
We are praying for one another
and want you to see the Power of PRAYER!
We all need PRAYER & one another.

“They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the Lord to care for them. They are confident and fearless and can face their foes triumphantly.”
~ Psalm 112:7-8 NLT

*"The trouble with nearly everybody who prays is that they say “Amen” and run away before God has a chance to reply. Listening to God is far more important than giving Him your ideas."
~ Frank Laubach

Let's change this today!

Are you in need of prayer?
or
Are you praying for others in need?

Be sure to take the time to pray for those at Fearless Friday,
those on the buttons around blog land,
when you see them on someone's blog take the time to pray
and FOR all those unspoken needs.

Thank you for your prayers for my daughter Heather. Heather means the world to my husband and me and many others.
I'm thrilled to announce a Good Samaritan stepped forward to donate. The donor will have to go through extensive testing before being approved, but we are so very grateful and hopeful.
I believe the in the power of prayer (and also bloggers!)
hugs, Cathy

Our Father Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil, for Thou are the Kingdom, the power and the glory forever amen.

Let Your power reign Father God on earth as it is in heaven.

Dear God, More and more people today are concerned with their physical fitness and good health. But what about our spiritual fitness? I know you made us and you want us to take care of our bodies, but more important is our spiritual health. Paul told Timothy to "Train yourself to be godly. For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and life to come" (1 Timothy 4:7-8). Please help me to also work on "firming up my faith" in addition to firming up my body, so that I will be pleasing to you and an example to those around me. I want to grow closer and closer to you and would love to bring others along with me. Lord, anoint me. In Jesus' name I pray, amen

PRAYER for Our Nation

This was shared in an email from the Presidential Prayer Team:

Declaration of Independence Signer

Samuel Chase
George Washington (1732-1799), 1st President of the United States

"Almighty God: We make our earnest prayer that Thou wilt keep the United States in Thy Holy protection; and Thou wilt incline the hearts of the Citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to Government; and to entertain a brotherly affection and love for one another and for their fellow Citizens of the United States at large, and particularly for their brethren who have served in the Field. And finally that Thou wilt most graciously be pleased to dispose us all to do justice, to love mercy, and to demean ourselves with that Charity, humility, and pacific temper of mind which were the Characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed Religion, and without a humble imitation of whose example in these things we can never hope to be a happy nation. Grant our supplication we beseech Thee, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen." --

This prayer of George Washington appears in St. Paul's Chapel in New York City.
