"Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken"
"For where two or three come together in my name,
there am I with them."

This is an interactive blog based on a comment and response systemPLEASE WRITE YOUR PRAYER, PRAYER REQUEST, PRAISE, THANKS in the place that would normally read comments after the most recent post, but here it will read "PRAYERS LIFTED TO THE THRONE of GOD."

We'd love to see your Prayer requests (Petitions), or Praises to God in what normally would be the comment area, where others will be supporting you through their prayers, written as a response to your petition there. We are asking you all to pray whenever you read a need of someone, please respond here with a prayer. You need not be a team member to leave a prayer for someone or bring a prayer need here.

Here's a prayer I received from Ephesians For Ministry (with TGIF) this week:

Dear God, I know You are able...able to move mountains, to speak creation into existence, to heal the sick, save the lost, to meet every need I have. I commit myself to You. I pray for all the people around the world, plagued by turmoil, wars, illness, lack of basic needs, insecurity and fear, and addictions that enslave. Lord, You alone know best how to meet these needs and solve these dilemmas. I pray that You would intervene, that people would be drawn to You, and that You would give them rest and healing, safety and security, a sound mind and a hopeful future. I pray that You would help me to see who You want me to minister to today and offer a hand of fellowship, a ray of light, or whatever You want to offer through me. Thank You, Lord, for meeting my needs. In Jesus' name...

So whatever your "mountain" is, let's lift it to the Throne and in the authority of Jesus command it to "GO" in Jesus' Name... He is MORE than ENOUGH... we need to intervene for OTHERS so let's gather them up and PRAY!!! Just add them to our list.

USING LINKY TOOLS AGAIN: If you see any post requesting prayer copy their URL and link it here so that we may cover their prayer need & lift them to the throne of God and so others may visit & pray also! THANK YOU!

Hello sweet friends, another Fearless Friday is here. Please join your heart with mine, and many others to pray. So many of you have lost loved ones, and are deeply griefing. Please remember Denise, she recently lost her dad, and now, just this week, her mom went home to be with the Lord. That is so much sadness to be dealing with, keep her covered in love and prayers. My sweet sis Lisa, lost her dad early this morning, he is now in the arms of Jesus. Please remember her, and her precious family. A nurse by the name of Carol, that I had the pleasure of sharing some heart to heart moments with at the eye doctor on Tuesday, lost her husband of 47 years in 2007, and then lost her son in January of this year. Please lift her up, she is still very much dealing with all of the loss. Dear heavenly Father, I lift these dear ones up to Your throne. Please comfort them at this time, as only You can. Carry them through this valley of the shadow of death, that they are trying to process. Show them, in a special way, that their love ones are being cared for by You now. I ask these things in Your Holy name. I love You. Amen

Dear heavenly Father, I am here to lift up this precious missionary family . They are constantly doing Your work, spreading Your love and good news to others. Father, this family is hurting right now, deeply. Please lay a sweet touch of healing, and much peace and comfort upon the precious mother of these children, Jaynee. Heal her hurting heart, as well as weak, and aching body. I ask these things in Your beloved name. Amen

O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together. AS for God, His way is perfect! The Word of the Lord is tested and tried; he is a shield to all those who take refuge and put their trust in Him. let the words of our mouths and the meditation of our be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, our firm impenetrable rock and our redeemer.

Your word has revived us and given us life. Forever, Oh Lord, Your Word is settled in heaven. Your Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. The sum of Your word is truth and every one of Your righteous decrees endure forever. We will worship toward your holy temple, and praise Your Holy Name for Your loving-kindness and for Your truth and faithfulness; for You have exalted above all else Your name and Your Word, and You have magnified Your Word above all Your name.

We praise Your Holy Name Father...Father God Abba..I we praise You for gathering us together before Your throne and lifting up Your beloved ones, Your chosen ones...we are Yours, the redeemed..of royalty, destined for greatness and we will stand our ground, stand guard over our rightful place which is the center of Your Will!!!! amen amen amen

Dear Father, we want to give You much praise and glory for bringing Jan's mom successfully through her breast surgery. May You continue a special dose of healing upon her body. We believe she will continue to get better, and better Father. Thank You for watching over her. Amen

Dear heavenly Father, I love You with all I am, or will ever be. I am thankful for all the love and grace I receive from You. You are always here to lift me up, when life knocks me down. This week was a rough one, but without You, it would have been even harder to manage to get through it. You make everything easier to get through, You smooth out all of the rough patches. You show me that there is light at the end of the dark tunnel I am walking in right now. You are my forever, brightly shining light Father, helping to lead my way. Thanks for being my shelter from all that would seek to harm me. I love You seems so inadequate, but I do, oh, how very, very much I do.

Dear heavenly Father, I come to You lifting Buddy up before You. Father, he is in deep pain over losing his brother Jake. I am asking You to comfort him at this time, there is no greater, soothing balm than You. Be close to him, let him feel Your mighty presence. I love You Father. Amen

PRAYER for Our Nation

This was shared in an email from the Presidential Prayer Team:

Declaration of Independence Signer

Samuel Chase
George Washington (1732-1799), 1st President of the United States

"Almighty God: We make our earnest prayer that Thou wilt keep the United States in Thy Holy protection; and Thou wilt incline the hearts of the Citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to Government; and to entertain a brotherly affection and love for one another and for their fellow Citizens of the United States at large, and particularly for their brethren who have served in the Field. And finally that Thou wilt most graciously be pleased to dispose us all to do justice, to love mercy, and to demean ourselves with that Charity, humility, and pacific temper of mind which were the Characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed Religion, and without a humble imitation of whose example in these things we can never hope to be a happy nation. Grant our supplication we beseech Thee, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen." --

This prayer of George Washington appears in St. Paul's Chapel in New York City.

"Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD." - Psalm 33:12
On our National Day of Prayer, then, we join together…to petition God to show us His mercy and His love, to heal our weariness and uphold our hope, that we might live ever mindful of His justice and thankful for His blessing.
