PRAYER PETITIONS LIFTED TO HIS THRONE

"Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken"
Ecclesiastes 4:12
"For where two or three come together in my name,
there am I with them."
Matthew 18:20

This is meant to be an interactive blog based on a comment and response system

PLEASE WRITE YOUR PRAYER, PRAYER REQUEST, PRAISE, THANKS in the place that would normally read comments after the most recent post, here it will read

"PRAYERS LIFTED TO THE THRONE of GOD."

We'd love to see your Prayer requests (Petitions) in what normally would be the comment area, where others will be supporting you through their prayers, written as a response to your petition there.

We are encouraging you all to pray whenever you read a need of someone, so please respond here with a prayer. You need not be a team member to leave a prayer for someone or bring a prayer need here. We all can lift up a prayer for each person and encourage someone, help to carry another's burden, stand with them and bless them.

The Linky asks for a blog link (BUT you need not fill that in if you don't have a blog or the person that you are requesting prayers for does not). The intention of this is so the people will go "visit" the person to encourage them or find out more about the situation. Thank you for sharing people that you find need prayer.

You may add REQUESTS on Linky (if there is one working) or in the comments if not... but remember NO COMMENTS ~  ONLY PRAYERS please. Thank you for lifting one another in prayer. God bless you as you pray. May His Holy Spirit fill you as you stand in the gap

Dear heavenly Father, please come along beside sister Alleluiabelle and lift her spirits. She is so discouraged right now. Life has brought her down to a very, very low point. Health problems, both her own, and her precious husband's, and financial burdens, are taking a heavy toll upon her. Please love on her, and encourage her. Wrap her in Your arms, and give her sweet rest, and restoration. Thank You Father. Amen

Dear heavenly Father, we praise You for the wonderful news concerning Ken, thanks for healing him. We ask that You be with Steve's Dad, he needs hip replacement surgery, but needs surgery to fix the stints in his heart first. Also, Steve, and Kat's nephew Josh has to have back surgery. He is just a teenager, and is very afraid. Please remove his fears, and calm him as only You can. Kat will be having a root canel this thursday, be close to her Father. Thank You. Amen.

She is always there, lifting others up before You, now let us come along beside her, and help carry her heavy load. She really needs to be encouraged. I love her very much. Bless her Father. Most precious Holy Father,

I thank You for my sister in Christ Denise and her many prayers! I am not able to lift up each person as she does but I do stand with her in agreement! I come to You on behalf of all the spoken listed and unspoken needs needs not represented yet I know that You know each one more intimately than I. I lay each sweet person at Your feet and ask for You to help them, carry them, meet them and their need. You are most powerful and so wonderful to answer or even listen to Your children, but we come to You with our heavy hearts and ask You to strengthen us and teach us how to pray in Your will and Your way. I thank You that through Jesus we have the victory! I praise You that we are more than conquerors!
When we are weak, You are so strong. I know that many homes and people are burdened and weary, tired and weakened but we ask for You to give us Your power and strength to rise above our circumstances and press in to read Your Word and seek You! I give You all glory, honor, power and thanks as I pray in Jesus Name for each one above and each one that is added.

I ask that You send in people to pray for others and share the prayers and needs of our sisters and brothers as we lift one another before You and Your most holy Throne. I cannot do this alone but You are able to hear each one and answer our prayers with Your love and Grace... Thank You!!!

Ohhh heavenly Father... Thank You so much for Cathy coming along side me and leaving a prayer!

Thank You also for the most beautiful prayer I received this morning via email! It is truly such a blessing to have One Heart that prays and joins in prayer for one another through Your Spirit and for so many needs.

You Most Holy One see the heart of each one and you know the many needs on this list and others both the spoken and unspoken, so we lay them all at Your feet. We thank You that You know them before we even ask. Please hear each one and send a loving answer.

My heart is heavy and I cannot carry this ministry alone. I know and trust You to minister to the people that come here, even if I can't respond or don't as we use to and as Denise so faithfully wrote out her prayers here.

Thank You for each one!

Praise You for Your bountiful grace and mercy that flows from Your Spirit!

I am weak, but You are strong!
I am without words, at times, but You are the Word!
I may fail, but You are faithful and Your love is unfailing!
I may not be able to pray or meet every prayer need or request from each person, but I pray that they encounter, one of the links in the list or one person, who will pray for them or with them and YOU will be in their presence, meeting them right as they ask for Your help, Your Presence, Your Power in their life or in their prayer. Meet each one right where they are and draw them closer to You.

Provide for each one.

Protect each one.

Heal each one according to Your Will and in Your Name!

Glorify Yourself!

Comfort each one and put on a garment of praise.

Give strength to everyone.

Defend us from evil.

Forgive us and restore us.

Lead us forward and away from every temptation or complacency.

Change us to be compassionate to all our brothers and sisters!

Continue to save the lost and help us to have Your eyes to see and Your heart to reach them.

Wrap Your arms around the hurting.

Surround us with Your wisdom and Your peace.

Walk with us daily and BE our daily bread.

Help us to forgive one another and BE true followers of Jesus Christ.

I ask this in Jesus' Name...

PRAYER for Our Nation

This was shared in an email from the Presidential Prayer Team:

Declaration of Independence Signer

Samuel Chase
George Washington (1732-1799), 1st President of the United States

"Almighty God: We make our earnest prayer that Thou wilt keep the United States in Thy Holy protection; and Thou wilt incline the hearts of the Citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to Government; and to entertain a brotherly affection and love for one another and for their fellow Citizens of the United States at large, and particularly for their brethren who have served in the Field. And finally that Thou wilt most graciously be pleased to dispose us all to do justice, to love mercy, and to demean ourselves with that Charity, humility, and pacific temper of mind which were the Characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed Religion, and without a humble imitation of whose example in these things we can never hope to be a happy nation. Grant our supplication we beseech Thee, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen." --

This prayer of George Washington appears in St. Paul's Chapel in New York City.
