Thank You Lord that we're pilgrims on the journey of the narrow road. And those who've gone before us line the way, cheering on the faithful, encouraging the weary. May our lives be a stirring testament to God's sustaining grace.

May we be surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses. Let us run the race not only for the prize. Let us leave to those behind us the heritage of faithfulness passed on through godly lives.

May all who come behind us find us faithful!

May the fire of our devotion light their way.

May the footprints that we leave, lead them to believe.

And may the lives we live inspire them to obey.

I love You Father, and I thank You so very, very much for my fellow prayer warrior sister Peggy. She is so faithful, and helps to make my journey easier by helping me carry the loads of others. Bless her always, in all ways. Thank You Father. Amen

I LOVE YOU LORD!

On this special day for love and friendship, I just want to reflect on Your love and the love You have placed in my heart for many especially women and children and MY BLOGGER SISTERS and brothers in Christ (there are a few)!

I am so grateful for Your LOVE! I have so much LOVE for You but nothing compares to Your Great Love! I cannot grasp or fathom how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ.(Eph. 3:18)

I love You, Jesus! I love You, Father! I love You, Holy Spirit!
Breath on me with more of Your love to share with others, teach me how to love the "unloveables" that many walk away from... that I may share Your love as You give freely to me,
so that I can give to them.

Thank You most Loving Father for sending Jesus to save me and give me an idea of Your unfailing love and aMazing grace! You are more than enough! So I will praise You from my heart of complete surrender and gratitude. Help me to love as You love. Help me to obey You as I submit to Your way in my life and my love.

I pray that WE may be rooted and established in love. May Christ dwell in our hearts through faith.
(Eph. 3:17)

I pray that out of Your glorious riches, You will strengthen us with power through the Holy Spirit in our inner being. (Eph. 3:16)

May we know this love that surpasses knowledge so that we may be filled to the measure of all Your fullness.

For this reason I kneel before You Father!

I ask one special favor for this special day in honor of LOVE and friendship to a beautiful family and loved ones that I don't even know, that You will shower them with LOVE, Comfort, Peace, Strength and an overwhelming sense of Your Presence surrounding them for Your Word proclaims that God so loved the world... and so pour forth this love and minister this love to each, draw many to seek You and come to You, forgive me for when I stray from Your faithful side, so that I may purely love and come into Your Presence to ask in Jesus' Name... May they have a garment of praise instead of despair; and an eternal Light that guides their day, an oil of gladness for the days of mourning and grief, bind up the broken hearted, proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness, provide for those who grieve, bestow a heavenly crown of beauty instead of ashes.
My heart is set on You but I'm so thinking of them and relating to their grief... and desiring that You Almighty God would empower them
to bear a beautiful reward of Your Loving and faithful touch with many blessings!

Thank You Most Holy and Loving God, for Your unconditional love and mercy which is new every morning. May we each be found faithful to look to You and Your love! I give You all honor, praise, glory, thanks and my love forever and ever in Jesus Name, I pray...

Be mine as You make me Yours!

Your grateful daughter,
Peggy

PRAYER for Our Nation

This was shared in an email from the Presidential Prayer Team:

Declaration of Independence Signer

Samuel Chase
George Washington (1732-1799), 1st President of the United States

"Almighty God: We make our earnest prayer that Thou wilt keep the United States in Thy Holy protection; and Thou wilt incline the hearts of the Citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to Government; and to entertain a brotherly affection and love for one another and for their fellow Citizens of the United States at large, and particularly for their brethren who have served in the Field. And finally that Thou wilt most graciously be pleased to dispose us all to do justice, to love mercy, and to demean ourselves with that Charity, humility, and pacific temper of mind which were the Characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed Religion, and without a humble imitation of whose example in these things we can never hope to be a happy nation. Grant our supplication we beseech Thee, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen." --

This prayer of George Washington appears in St. Paul's Chapel in New York City.
