Lord God, when my hope is gone, I will hope in faith.I will not weaken in faith … no unbelief or distrust will cause me to waver (doubtingly question) concerning Your Promises. I will grow strong and be empowered by faith and give praise and glory to You. Romans 4: 18-20 (NIV)

Lord God, my trust and assured reliance and confident hope is fixed in You. Hebrews 2:13 (NIV)

Lord God, You are my portion; therefore I will wait on You.I know that You will be good to me because my hope is in You and I seek You. I will rest in You and wait quietly for Your salvation. Lamentations 3:24-26 (NIV)

Lord God, I will be joyful in hope, patient in my affliction, and faithful in prayer. Romans 12:12 (NIV)

Lord God, I thank You for Your Word, written to teach me, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures I might have hope.
Romans 15:4 (NIV)

Lord God, I pray that Your hope will fill me with all joy and peace as I trust in You, so that I might overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 15:13 (NIV)

Lord God, I know that I am unable to see my true condition; only You can see me for who I am. I am only able to understand what You reveal to me until that day when I see You face to face and then, I will know everything fully. I can know that there is faith, hope, and love, and I am certain through Your Word that the greatest of these is love.
1 Corinthians 13:10, 12, 13 (NIV)

Lord God, I pray that the eyes of my heart may be enlightened in order that I might know the hope to which You have called me, the riches of Your glorious inheritance. Ephesians 1:18 (NIV)

Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise Him, my Savior and my God. Psalm 42:11 Dear Heavenly Father, My hope is built on nothing less than You, and Your righteousness. Anything else that I put my hope in, is just sinking sand. You always uplift me, and gibve me a forever hope. Thanks Father, I love You. Amen.

Oh most Holy Heavenly Father,

My HOPE is in You! Help me to trust that as I put my hope and wait actively, I am allowing You full control in my life!

"Actively waiting means to be present fully to the moment, in the conviction that something is happening where you are and that you want to be present to it!"
~ Henri Nouwen

And so I wait just like Mary when she said, "I am the handmaid of the Lord... let what You have said be done to me"...(Luke 1:38). Teach me to trust so deeply that my waiting will be open to all or any possibilities because Your hand is on me and I trust You! Help me to not be controlling or need to control things or others.
Stop others when they think they can control me and keep me from all harm from others and their control. I do believe that as I listen carefully, I too, like Mary can trust what is going to happen. You are in control.

Father, please bring HOPE to the down trodden and weary. You know each one and which one I mean in particular. My heart is so heavy for her. Send Your Comforter to those who need Your Comfort this season and bring each one new HOPE in you amidst their burdens, trials and unending situations of pain and sorrow. Lift each one up on eagle's wings and may Your HOPE kindle anew their love and strength in You! Do not let them feel that You have forgotten them or are not near. You are near for each one of us even when we just whisper the Name of Jesus!
Jesus! Jesus! Sweet precious Jesus! Thank You for carrying our burdens but some of us need to know You are REAL and You are who You say You are in the battles we face... so strengthen in the Name of Jesus, be Our Mighty Counselor, Prince of Peace, Everlasting Victor!

Hallelujah! To God be the glory!

Dear Heavenly Father, my hope and my faith are only in You. Man will fail you, but You will never fail me. Man will break his promises, but, You always keep Your promises to me. Man will let you down, but, Father, You always uplift me. Thank You Father. Amen

God, Your Word tells us to come unto you and you will give me rest. I am heavy laden with challenges and concerns. I labor to make ends meet and to do all that I must do in a day's time. Please, bless the work of my hands. Relieve the stress I feel. Take the reigns of my life and bless me with fruit that only you can give. Please, give me rest. I thank you and praise You, Lord. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Wonderful and tender Shepherd, please give me a faithful heart. Even in my deepest moments of darkness and despair, I want to be able to find your Light and to share his life with others. In the name of the One who is never darkness, Jesus the Light of the world, I pray. Amen.

Father God, Releasing HOPE to my sisters in Christ. Be with each one today! Embrace them and cover their appointments.

Take away any pain! Bring them Your Comfort and Peace! You are in control. Nothing is too difficult for You!

Praise be to You in Christ Jesus, who covered all our sin and infirmities at the Cross. In His great mercy He has given us new birth into a Living Hope through the birth and resurrection of Jesus from the dead. Because He conquered the grave, nothing is too BIG for Our God. Headaches, be gone. Back aches and leg pain be gone. Swelling and blockage be gone in Jesus Name. Send Your healing to us from the top of our heads to the bottom of our toes, release Your flowing of grace, strength and power.

Thank You that You are our Healer and Great Physician, You know all. Thank You for giving Your wisdom to all medical people that we see and may they deal with us in Your compassion and love like children of God.

You are ever so faithful. Whatever the report, we believe and trust in You with our lives and our health. We ask for miracles but only in the name of Jesus. We are ever so grateful for all You do! We give You all the glory, honor and praise. You are our strength and the JOY of the Lord is Our Strength, so help us show JOY and be JOYFUL in the midst of our human trials and tribulations, keep us mindful that You understand our pain and Jesus suffered far worse to give us the victory... Move by Your Spirit, for You are the LORD, who heals, You carried our diseases and took up our infirmities. Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!

We love You! We exalt You!
We adore You! Be glorified this day in the Name of Jesus, I pray...

PRAYER for Our Nation

This was shared in an email from the Presidential Prayer Team:

Declaration of Independence Signer

Samuel Chase
George Washington (1732-1799), 1st President of the United States

"Almighty God: We make our earnest prayer that Thou wilt keep the United States in Thy Holy protection; and Thou wilt incline the hearts of the Citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to Government; and to entertain a brotherly affection and love for one another and for their fellow Citizens of the United States at large, and particularly for their brethren who have served in the Field. And finally that Thou wilt most graciously be pleased to dispose us all to do justice, to love mercy, and to demean ourselves with that Charity, humility, and pacific temper of mind which were the Characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed Religion, and without a humble imitation of whose example in these things we can never hope to be a happy nation. Grant our supplication we beseech Thee, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen." --

This prayer of George Washington appears in St. Paul's Chapel in New York City.
