TRUE WOMAN: REVIVAL and AWAKENING PRAYER CHALLENGE

I am so sorry that I am not a better LIGHTHOUSE keeper (due to me not being able to be online every day, any hour anymore) and I miss so much, but mostly YOU!

However, during OCTOBER, there were many PRAYER challenges started and some even before that, especially regarding the upcoming election in the United States of America, our nation is in crisis and definitely needs prayer and leaders who can answer directly to God and get His Guidance and Word for direction. Anyways, I try very hard not to get too political here, since it is first of all, a HOUSE of PRAYER! But please listen and PRAY at least #10 below or #16, #22, #23, #30 (when you click over to True Woman, you must click on the purple button that reads "Click here to join in prayer" that should open an audio for you to listen  and agree in prayer).

One of the ministries, that I admire and use to be able to follow is Nancy Leigh DeMoss, Revive Our Hearts and True Woman. I would have loved it if we at the Lighthouse of Prayer had joined her in Praying for the REVIVAL and AWAKENING through the month of October. Although, October has gone by, that does not mean that we still cannot PRAY for REVIVAL and AWAKENING for our nation and our world (whatever corner of the world you reside in, our final authority and kingdom is that of God, the Father, Jesus, His Son and His Holy Spirit, so we are one body, united in prayer as He is One God).

Almighty, All Powerful Living God and Heavenly Father from who all authority is given… *please remove the scales from our eyes and let us see what a healthy dependency should be. Help us to restore our faith in the truth, “In God we trust.” May this coming election be a beginning in turning us about from our waywardness. Please give America another chance. We need You in our lives. Do Your mighty will within this election so our first steps are easier in turning back this country toward You. Begin your new work for America even in me today. Revive our nation’s hearts to want, need and depend upon You.

(Psalm 127:1) We bow first to Your authority and will over us as we do as You command us to do in Your Word to pray for our leaders,(1 Timothy 2:1-2, 3)(Prov. 21:1) to seek You first (Matthew 6:33)and Your kingdom and all Your righteousness will be added unto us, to humble come to You (James 4:10) and (2 Chronicles 7:14) and cry out to You to hear our prayers (Jeremiah 33:3)and take full control of our nation and leaders (Proverbs 19:21)and us as Your humble people, earnestly seeking Your face and grace over our nation, we give thanks for ALL Your benefits (Psalm 103:2) and the rich inheritance we’ve been so privileged to be given bountifully and ever so abundantly. (Luke 12:48) To whom much is given, much is required. As You, Lord Jesus taught us to pray Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. (Matthew 6:9-13)

*Almighty God, as provider of all, You have blessed us with a home called the United States of America. Please give us another chance at turning back to You. We cry for Your forgiveness. Give us another chance. Please allow this coming election to return us back to You. Help us leave our home for the next generation so they, too, will enjoy America as a God-blessed nation. Amen!

You are so wonderful and so worthy of all our praise, thanks and glory now and forever. We bow to You alone!

On this Election Day eve, we ask You, Lord to give us Your wisdom. You are eager to bless us and our President and all governmental leadership positions, as Your children. Help us think supernaturally with divine wisdom as we go to the polling booth tomorrow (today) and make our choices for local and state offices, Congress and the United States presidency.

*You are the one who inspired man to seek and build a free land. It was Your Holy Word that gave direction and guidance in forming our government. Forgive us for allowing that same government to remove and separate You from our nation’s daily affairs. Please give us another chance. May this coming election be the first steps back to You. We hunger for You to once again bless America.

*Almighty God, Your power is infinite and beyond our understanding. Forgive us for limiting You. We ask for another chance. Please begin Your mighty work and help America learn to lean hard upon You. We welcome Your leadership and blessings. Please do your perfect will in Tuesday’s elections. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Heavenly Father, I agree with the prayers of my dear sisters in Christ. Send a revival to churchs that believe in You, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Awaken those under the sound of the voice that they may get revived again. I pray for a revival in my own heart. We need You more than anything else in the day we are living. Give all of us the boldness to speak out about You and give You the honor and glory that You deserve in the name of Jesus.

Thank you for the prayers you just answered for me tonight for two different things. I depend on You Father for You are the only one I know that will hear my heart's cry. I love You so much. May I always keep close to You. Praise Your Holy name. You are the author and finisher of all creation. I pray this nation will come to realize that in the name of Jesus.
Amen and Amen.

PRAYER for Our Nation

This was shared in an email from the Presidential Prayer Team:

Declaration of Independence Signer

Samuel Chase
George Washington (1732-1799), 1st President of the United States

"Almighty God: We make our earnest prayer that Thou wilt keep the United States in Thy Holy protection; and Thou wilt incline the hearts of the Citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to Government; and to entertain a brotherly affection and love for one another and for their fellow Citizens of the United States at large, and particularly for their brethren who have served in the Field. And finally that Thou wilt most graciously be pleased to dispose us all to do justice, to love mercy, and to demean ourselves with that Charity, humility, and pacific temper of mind which were the Characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed Religion, and without a humble imitation of whose example in these things we can never hope to be a happy nation. Grant our supplication we beseech Thee, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen." --

This prayer of George Washington appears in St. Paul's Chapel in New York City.
