MAY PRAYER REQUESTS~1

RETURNING TO PRAYER REQUESTS HERE rather than the ABOVE PAGE
on April 19, 2014

"Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken"
Ecclesiastes 4:12

This is meant to be an interactive blog based on comment and response system. That's where YOU come in, we need YOU to help the Lighthouse of Prayer work effectively by joining us in sharing your prayer requests or other's you encounter AND then by leaving a prayer for them, let them know that you are lifting them in prayer with us here.

WE REALLY NEED YOU !

This blog ONLY works if WE all JOIN together
in prayer and sharing.

We'd love to see your Prayer requests (Petitions) in what normally would be the Comment area, where others will be supporting you through their prayers hopefully, written as a response to your petition there. We'd like this to be a community of prayer, praying for one another.

We encourage you ALL to pray whenever you read a need of someone, so please respond here with a prayer also. You need not be a team member to leave a prayer for someone or bring a prayer need here. We all can lift up a prayer for each person and encourage someone, help to carry another's burden, stand with them and bless them.

This blog post is only for
PRAYER REQUESTS

Please use other posts to write other prayers
but
Your PRAYERS are always welcome here!

When you leave a prayer request,
please come back to read the prayer(s) for you.

Hopefully you will find them right under your
PRAYER REQUEST
made possible with the new feature of
REPLY

If you are praying for that prayer request
please use the REPLY right under that prayer request.

When you add a PRAYER REQUEST in comments,
please
write PRAYER REQUEST first

Thank you in the name of Jesus
let us pray

Father and Praying Friends ... Forgive me for so many changes and adding 4 posts here on one Sat. a.m. which can lead to confusion and a sense of being lost once again when we just come together here to join together in prayer for one another and others ... and so I ask forgiveness and clear guidance in all prayers left here (successfully published or not) ... You, LORD, read and know each one and hold each prayer petition, and petitioner and one in need of an answer to prayer in Your capable, all sufficient, loving and powerful hands and according to Your will may each one be done ... not as we ask but as You will. Guide and direct our many prayer needs and those in need of an answer from You, however it may come, may we receive the answer with Your grace, strength and in the love which You generously pour out upon us!

Thank You for the healing blood and Name of Jesus! there is so much power in JESUS! and He has given that authority to all who seek and follow Him in the power of Your Holy Spirit! Forgiveness runs and flows through us from Jesus and to others. We thank You for the Cross, for Jesus' sacrifice and love, for the Resurrection Power,

We bow humbly giving You all the honor, glory and praise only to You! We thank You! We love You more than we can express in words and ask that You lead us to show in our ACTions. Give us more of Your grace and power to receive the Victory Jesus won. Hallelujah! Jesus is alive and lives! May He break forth triumphantly on behalf of each prayer and each one who passes through reading and praying in Jesus' Name...

Father, You know my husband's niece and the things she has done to have to be put in prison for a year. Father, I pray that You will be able to reach her through someone that can pray with her and help her understand how much she needs to put her life in Your hands. Please give us the words to write her a letter that will show her The Message of the Cross and the only way she can get forgiveness is to turn her life over to You. I ask for help in reaching out to her through prayer and letters. Help her understand just how much You want to be her Savior, friend and healer. I ask all of this Father in the name of Jesus. Amen.

PRAYER for Our Nation

This was shared in an email from the Presidential Prayer Team:

Declaration of Independence Signer

Samuel Chase
George Washington (1732-1799), 1st President of the United States

"Almighty God: We make our earnest prayer that Thou wilt keep the United States in Thy Holy protection; and Thou wilt incline the hearts of the Citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to Government; and to entertain a brotherly affection and love for one another and for their fellow Citizens of the United States at large, and particularly for their brethren who have served in the Field. And finally that Thou wilt most graciously be pleased to dispose us all to do justice, to love mercy, and to demean ourselves with that Charity, humility, and pacific temper of mind which were the Characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed Religion, and without a humble imitation of whose example in these things we can never hope to be a happy nation. Grant our supplication we beseech Thee, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen." --

This prayer of George Washington appears in St. Paul's Chapel in New York City.
