I SURRENDER ALL

What does this phrase mean "to surrender" to God?
Surrender means to yield ownership, to relinquish control over what we consider ours: our property, our time, our "rights." When we surrender to God, we are simply acknowledging that what we "own" actually belongs to Him. He is the giver of all good things. We are responsible to care for what God has given us, as stewards of His property, but by surrendering to God, we admit that He is ultimately in control of everything, including our present circumstances. Surrendering to God helps us to let go of whatever has been holding us back from God's best for our lives. By surrendering to God, we let go of whatever has kept us from wanting God's ways first.

How do you surrender to God?

Have you surrendered all to Jesus?
It's a choice.
Why not choose to loose
all the weights
of the
world?

Just lay them down at the feet of Jesus!
Lay down your burdens.
Lay down the burdens of others.
This is one time when surrendering gives you power...
over the enemy and temptation
Surrender to God
who will give you a weapon to resist!
Take up the Sword & defend yourself & God will defend you!

In the name of Jesus...
all will fall
just call
on Jesus!

Please pray for our church, that God's Will, is always first, not man's but His, for I know His will is perfect.

Heavenly Father,

We lift up Sue's church to You and ask that Your will be done. may the church truly seek You in all that they may do in Your name. Help them to put aside their human wills and seek Godly wisdom & Your Word to guide their plans. For Your plans are not our plans neither are Your ways our ways...and as the heavens reach higher than the earth, so are Your ways higher than our ways and Your thoughts higher than our thoughts! Make this church seek
Your thoughts and ways. Help them to be wise & guided by Your Spirit as they make decisions in Jesus' Name.

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts neither are your ways my ways." declares the Lord. "As the heavens reach higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts" Isaiah 55:8&9

Dear Father I lay my burden before you as I seek your direction and will. I surrender to you and let go of all that has been holding us back from your best for our lives and Your ministry. I surrender to you and seek your way first.

Heavenly Father, I stand with my sweet sister from The Journey Back and ask you to hear her cry & her heart laid before You to be in Your Will, to know Your will, to clearly see Your direction for them and their ministry. It is Your ministry, Lord and they are Your willing hands and feet desiring to follow Your Will. Open only the doors that You desire for them to accept so they clearly hear from You. Close any doors that are not from You! We trust in You & ask that Your will be done, not ours, wanting to do what is good or best, but pleasing & perfect plan of Your
Everlasting Love. In Your precious Name, we pray & thank You for her surrender this day! Bless her Lord & pour Your Heavenly Favor on them.

Love her & let her know we love her & support her in prayer. Let the Heavens rain bountiful blessings!
We give You all glory, honor & power!

Dear heavenly Father, thank You for such a wonder-filled weekend. I felt Your loving presence during our time of fasting and prayer. I thank You for being gathered together with other prayer warriors from my church for a time of fasting and prayer. As they laid hands upon me, and prayed for me to be healed, thank You for letting the Spirit fall down upon me. I praise You, and I love You. Amen

Prayer Request from Julie at His grace reaches me: A lot of things have been going on lately and the main thing is that my husband hasn't been able to work but 15 hrs this month. He has been laid off because of the enormous amounts of rain we have had. He gets paid by the hour so this is not good as you can see. He is doing odd jobs but they are hard to come by because of the economy. We have bills coming due/are due that we can't pay. Thankfully, our church family has helped us some.

What I am asking you to do is PRAY. Please pray for us. This is very difficult on top of us having a difficult 2 yrs. financially at his job. It just seems to go from bad to worse.

So...if I am missing from the blog or not commenting on your blogs, I am sorry. I am just not able to do all of that and still be the wife and mother I need to be in this season we are in.

I do appreciate all of you and hope that you will stick around because I do plan to be back to blogging. I miss it a lot.

In the meantime, please pray for us. I don't like to disclose things like this but there are times when we just need to be real and let people know what's going on and how they can pray.

Please pray for Debra at clothed with scarlet: Good morning! I would like to thank each and everyone of you that have stopped by and given me words of encouragement and have been lifting up my family and I in prayer.

I saw a dear sister at church today and she simply edified my Spirit by her kindness of offers of help in any and every way while I am back and forth helping my parents. I would like to give you an update.

Last Wednesday when I took my father to the doctor, we went to see his brother together and found my Uncle Martin awake and in good spirits. I was able to feed him oatmeal and two cups of coffee and get a couple of smiles out of him. The very next day he went into a coma. I arrived to feed him and he was unable to respond to me and the nurse told me he would not be waking up anymore.

When my cousin, Susan, arrived I told her about her Dad and walked her in. She also told me she was able to handle all of this because her father had accepted the Lord just the week before. Praise the Lord.

My father's sister, my Aunt Margaret, went into ICU at the same time and went on a breathing tube for a collapsed lung. She is still in ICU and has undergone surgery and just today they took the breathing tube out of her. It is still touch and go at this point. My father and his brothers and sisters are holding up the best they can.

I am so thankful for the Lord and His Word and the strength He has given me throughout this ordeal. Although, I must confess, today after church all I wanted to do was sleep sleep sleep.

Please forgive my lack of getting to your blogs and commenting. And thank you for your encouragement anyway to me in the lack of my ability to reciprocate.

Update from Julie: God is good!!!!! He is SO GOOD!!! I really have no other words other than those right now as I am just overwhelmed with gratefulness and love for those who have helped us.

ALL BILLS PAID THIS MONTH IN FULL!!!!!! (By odd jobs & our church family helping us)

And,

Today, when I checked the mail, I found a wonderful gift from an "anonymous" friend!!! Words cannot begin to say how much we needed that and how appreciated you really are. =)

God has just been so overwhelmingly good to us this week and I can't wait until we can be helpful to someone in need and spread the LOVE of God to them!!!

I just feel like God has had his arms around us this week and Charlie has talked about how hard it is to take it all in how much we have been given.

So, I guess to sum it all up, I can say this:

Today, we are OVERWHELMINGLY GRATEFUL!!!!!

Much Love,
~Julie

Prayer Request from my friend Pia: My husband is with another woman in a far country. That really crushed my heart. But I’m not giving up or losing hope because I know God is in control. Please pray for my husband to come to his senses, repent of his sins and go back to the Lord and eventually to me, his covenant wife. Please pray for the restoration and healing of my marriage. I believe nothing is impossible with God. Lastly, I really need intercessors to stand with me in prayer and agreement for the redemption of my marriage. Please pray for us.

Pia

PRAYER for Our Nation

This was shared in an email from the Presidential Prayer Team:

Declaration of Independence Signer

Samuel Chase
George Washington (1732-1799), 1st President of the United States

"Almighty God: We make our earnest prayer that Thou wilt keep the United States in Thy Holy protection; and Thou wilt incline the hearts of the Citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to Government; and to entertain a brotherly affection and love for one another and for their fellow Citizens of the United States at large, and particularly for their brethren who have served in the Field. And finally that Thou wilt most graciously be pleased to dispose us all to do justice, to love mercy, and to demean ourselves with that Charity, humility, and pacific temper of mind which were the Characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed Religion, and without a humble imitation of whose example in these things we can never hope to be a happy nation. Grant our supplication we beseech Thee, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen." --

This prayer of George Washington appears in St. Paul's Chapel in New York City.
