URGENT PRAYER NEEDS

I'm sure that there are many prayer needs this week but here are some very important ones brought to my prayerful attention just tonight:

Let's take them to the Cross
3 SPECIAL URGENT PRAYER REQUESTS:
15 year old from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada in surgery tonight for stomach cancer (Amber) a precious girl to a dear friend of mine, Helen... pray that it has not spread and that God, who is greater than cancer, will heal and stop this, in Jesus Name...

Also for Emma, Especially Heather's daughter... it's best to read from Heather's blog or Twitter:
Update please go read and leave an encouraging word or prayer.
What to pray for today (4/3) from Heather:
  • That the left side of her brain would heal (This is the biggest one!)
  • There would continue to be no seizures when we wean her from the medications.
  • That she when she wakes up she is the same old Emma
  • For Mark, I and the rest of our family- This has been a very long and trying 2 months for us.
  • For my heart to be still and know that He is in total control.
  • That we would be okay with whatever the Lord wants, even if it is not what we desire.
Update Praise report that it is not cystic fibrosis added to the rest...
Abby's lungs are a mess, she has super thick mucus like kids with CF and her immune system is being kept low on purpose (her cancer mimics white blood cells).
Please see Abby's button in the sidebar and read about her at their family blog. Go HERE for Abby's story. Briefly:

"Abby is four years old. We adopted her from Guatemala when she was six months old.

In July 2008, three years old, she was diagnosed with a high risk, aggressive form of Leukemia. Over the months, her prognosis has worsened as other complications and conditions became know."

~ from the Rigg's family blog

We are called to join together and pray for one another.

"[We] do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and long suffering with joy; giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son..."

Colossian 1:9-13

"He saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor...." Isaiah 59:16

“So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land...." Ezekiel 22:30

"Brethren, pray for us." 1 Thessalonian 5:25

GOD HIMSELF PRAYS FOR US!

"It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us." Romans 8:34

"...we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God." Romans 8:26-27

Dear Father God, I am lifting Amber, Emma, and Abby up before Your throne. Father, You know their physical needs, please lay Your healing, loving hands upon these three precious ones. Give them strength to face all that they are going through. Please be with those family members who are scared at this time, give them a calming peace, that can only come from You Father. I ask these things in Your holy name, believing You hear me, and will answer my prayer. Amen

Heavenly Father, Thank You for sending two prayer warriors and intercessors to lift these precious ones to Your Throne today! I come here in agreement with them!

Amber, Emma and Abby need Your healing touch! They need You as the Healer to come into their place right now with all of Your Power and Might, and cause what is seen to be changed in the Name of Jesus!

I claimed the stripes of Jesus over Amber, Emma, Abby. These are precious young lives, LORD! You told us to ask in Your Name and in Your will and so we do. We storm the gates of heaven, and cry out for the HEALER to move in their lives. You alone are greater than our infirmities! You alone have the power! We take Your authority and command these children to walk in Your anointing and healing! Give them strength, take away their pain and discomfort, remove any fears.
Touch Amber, Abby and Emma now in Jesus Name!

I go through each of these healing scriptures (along the sidebars)and claim them and pray them over Amber, Abby and Emma ~ for Your Word will not return void!

In Exodus 15:26

YOU (He) said, "If WE(you) listen carefully to the voice of the LORD Our(your) God and do what is right in YOUR (His) eyes, if we(you) pay attention to YOUR (His) commands and keep all YOUR (His) decrees, YOU(I) will not bring on us (you) any of the diseases YOU (I) brought on the Egyptians, for YOU are (I am) the LORD, who heals EMMA< AMBER & ABBY (you).

Ohhh Lord, attend to these precious children and hear our cries to You!
Be with the families, they are growing weary and need Your strength, comfort, peace, wisdom, rest, authority to trample over sickness on behalf of their loved ones and the victory You won and went to the Cross for...deliver us from evil and grant us MIRACLES.

We give YOU all the honor, glory and THANKS for all You are doing in Jesus name... Thank You! We love You and we love these young ones.
Do not let any suffer anymore and accomplish Your Divine Intervention
so our HOPE, FAITH & TRUST in YOU is increased.

Heavenly Father, Bless each and every person above and hear their prayer!
Thank You Father for Art, Ginger, Denise and Angela! Thank You LORD for Amber, Emma and Abby! We await to hear a good report! If that is not Your will that you give each one and their families Your strength, comfort and wisdom to cope and abide in You!

I came here today as I lay down my blog after two years and 700+ posts asking for You to direct my steps. I thank You for each and every friend & reader that has visited me since 2008, even the ones who came and left without a word. I asked that something touched them by Your Spirit and power. I confessed my weakness there and surrender Amazing Grace...Mazes, Messes, Miracles into Your loving hands! It is Yours Lord...it always has been, just like me.

So now I share the prayer I came with from Ephesians 4 Ministry:

Dear God, Your Word is a river of life. It satisfies and comforts my soul like a stream in the desert. Please help me to be like the tree planted by the water, with roots that dig down into Your Word and faith that stands strong as the well-rooted tree in the hot and dusty seasons. Bless me, Lord, that I may be a blessing to others. Please guide and direct me in all that I do. Thank you for loving me and providing all I need along the way. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

Dear Father God, I come to you on behalf of my precious sis Peggy. She is such a sweet blessing to the world. She loves You with everything she has, and serves You faithfully. She wants to serve only You in everyway. Please be close to her, and lead her footsteps. Guide her toward whatever ministry You have for her. Please take care of all of her needs, spiritually, emotionally, physically, and financially. Let Your blessings overflow into her life. Love on her Father. Amen

Prayer from Wayne Dillard,
Prayer central.net from my email:)
after a beautiful reflection of Jesus Resurrection:

I bless you in the name of Christ, whose blood covers the doorpost of your life, whose death set you free from darkness, and whose resurrection empowers you to glorify His name through bold acts of faith.

I bless you in the name of the One, who loves you with an everlasting love, who knows all your thoughts, catches ever tear, and hears every whisper. The One who makes a way when there is no way, and brings streams in the midst of your desert.

I bless you with the peace of Christ that passes understanding, and carries you up and over the obstacles of life. The knowing that there is more than you can see, and that in Christ you live and move and have your being.

I bless you with the resurrection power of Jesus, that calls you to your place, unites you with fellow believers, equips you for exploits and sends you forth with boldness and purpose.

May Jesus, the son God, the Christ, the Lamb that was slain for the sins of the world, the Prince of Peace, the King of Kings, the One true God, who reigns and rules forever be represented through your life, and glorified by your faith, love and obedience.

In the mighty and worth name of Jesus, Amen.

Jesus, you are waiting for us to bring our concerns to you. Thank you for hearing us and answering our prayers for these urgent needs.

To all the prayer warriors. Thank you for praying for my family during these past months. God has blessed and brought supernatural peace and healing to our family.

Heavenly Father, Thank You for bringing Karen here. We stand together with her for her precious family! Continue to pour out Your peace supernaturally and divinely as You heal their loving family! Be with each one and draw them closer to You!
Move by your Holy Spirit and touch and minister Your unfailing love over them.

We stand for all families Lord in the gap... that You will draw them closer together and to You! Especially today Father, the many families that are mourning the loss of their loved ones, like those miners... send Your Comforter, Your Healer and see them through this overpowering grief. For You are mightier and through You they can be strengthened. There is nothing too big that You cannot change! You are ready to restore families. For the broken families, for the hurting families, for the struggling families, for the divided families, for the single families... nothing is impossible through Your Power. We stand with all families and ask that You pour Your aMazing grace over each one.

In the loving, precious Name of Jesus, we pray and give You all the thanks, glory & honor for what You can do! We believe in Your Resurrection power! Hallelujah!

PRAYER for Our Nation

This was shared in an email from the Presidential Prayer Team:

Declaration of Independence Signer

Samuel Chase
George Washington (1732-1799), 1st President of the United States

"Almighty God: We make our earnest prayer that Thou wilt keep the United States in Thy Holy protection; and Thou wilt incline the hearts of the Citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to Government; and to entertain a brotherly affection and love for one another and for their fellow Citizens of the United States at large, and particularly for their brethren who have served in the Field. And finally that Thou wilt most graciously be pleased to dispose us all to do justice, to love mercy, and to demean ourselves with that Charity, humility, and pacific temper of mind which were the Characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed Religion, and without a humble imitation of whose example in these things we can never hope to be a happy nation. Grant our supplication we beseech Thee, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen." --

This prayer of George Washington appears in St. Paul's Chapel in New York City.
