SEPTEMBER PRAYER REQUESTS ~ Week 1

"Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken"
Ecclesiastes 4:12

This is meant to be an interactive blog based on comment and response system. That's where YOU come in, we need YOU to help the Lighthouse of Prayer work effectively by joining us in sharing your prayer requests or other's you encounter AND then by leaving a prayer for them, let them know that you are lifting them in prayer with us here.
WE REALLY NEED YOU !
This blog ONLY works if WE all JOIN together
in prayer and sharing.
We'd love to see your Prayer requests (Petitions) in what normally would be the Comment area, where others will be supporting you through their prayers hopefully, written as a response to your petition there. We'd like this to be a community of prayer, praying for one another.

We encourage you ALL to pray whenever you read a need of someone, so please respond here with a prayer also. You need not be a team member to leave a prayer for someone or bring a prayer need here. We all can lift up a prayer for each person and encourage someone, help to carry another's burden, stand with them and bless them.

This blog post is only for
PRAYER REQUESTS

Please use other posts to write other prayers
but
Your PRAYERS are always welcome here!

When you leave a prayer request,
please come back to read the prayer(s) for you.

Hopefully you will find them right under your
PRAYER REQUEST
made possible with the new feature of
REPLY

If you are praying for that prayer request
please use the REPLY right under that prayer request.

When you add a PRAYER REQUEST in comments, please
write PRAYER REQUEST first
or just
add your prayer request in the
LINKY

FOR SEPTEMBER
we will have
WEEKLY
PRAYER REQUEST
posts

Thank you in the name of Jesus
let us pray

Prayers (comments) are now closed here. Go forward to the current week's post to share your prayer or request.

Heavenly Father, I humbly ask that You will somehow supply Alleluiabelle's brother two health lungs. You are our creator and know exactly what to do when our body breaks down. Bless Your name, bless Your name. You are Holy, loving, forgiving and the life giver. Thanks for all You are doing to help in this situation. Amen.

Heavenly Father, I agree in prayer with Cathy for all of Denise's friends. You know each one and what their needs are. Please answer all their needs in the name of Jesus.

I continue to lift up Allelieuabelle's brother for a new set of lungs and a special prayer for the person who donated them the their family.

Heavenly Father, I need your help in getting my Cholesterol down. I can't take any of the medicines so I'm putting my faith in You to show me how to change my diet in the name of Jesus. I continue to ask, Father, for healing of my ears, the noise in my left each and the deafness I have in both ears. I love You so much Father and believe You will answer all my needs in the name of Jesus. I give You honor and praise for all You are doing for the people listed here at the Lighthouse. Your daughter, AE

Heavenly Father, Help Alice to get her cholesterol down. Show her what she needs to do. Heal her ears I pray, in the name of Jesus. Thank you, Father, for hearing and answering all of our needs. We love you, Lord. Please be with my dear loved one who is not doing well, meet all of his needs, and comfort those who are with him. I still pray for healing, Lord, in the name of Jesus. Amen

PRAYER for Our Nation

This was shared in an email from the Presidential Prayer Team:

Declaration of Independence Signer

Samuel Chase
George Washington (1732-1799), 1st President of the United States

"Almighty God: We make our earnest prayer that Thou wilt keep the United States in Thy Holy protection; and Thou wilt incline the hearts of the Citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to Government; and to entertain a brotherly affection and love for one another and for their fellow Citizens of the United States at large, and particularly for their brethren who have served in the Field. And finally that Thou wilt most graciously be pleased to dispose us all to do justice, to love mercy, and to demean ourselves with that Charity, humility, and pacific temper of mind which were the Characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed Religion, and without a humble imitation of whose example in these things we can never hope to be a happy nation. Grant our supplication we beseech Thee, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen." --

This prayer of George Washington appears in St. Paul's Chapel in New York City.
