PRAYING HIS PEACE OVER US

John 14:27

For most of our TOPICS, so far, PEACE was the answer... not the peace that the world gives, but the peace of Jesus Christ. Here are the posts with Scriptures to claim and pray... and help you find His Peace

PRAYING WE MAY REST IN HIS PEACE and FIND HIS INNER PEACE
the PEACE that passes all understanding...
SEEKING COMFORT in HIS PEACE

Be still my soul!

I lay down any worry, anxiety or stress known, lingering and unknown.

You, O Lord are in control. You are for us! So I will lay down and be still. I find great comfort in Your peace... in Your arms!

For You are God!

Hallelujah!

Thank You that You have overcome!
Thank You Lord that You have won!

Thank You for Your perfect peace!
Thank You that I can come & find REST in You always. I need not strive... I need not fear... I only need to trust You completely with the good, the bad, the questions.

Release Your peace over us!

[Thank you, Sherri for this song! May you be inspired and blessed to compose more music like this!]

Heavenly Father,

We lift up our dear sister, Elizabeth and her family, for an extra measure of PEACE and COMFORT as they lay to rest her dear husband and celebrate his life and homecoming! We thank You for Michael's life and that he knew You! We ask that You would surround Elizabeth with love and people to be there with her as she grieves. May the Holy Comforter surround them all! Pour out Your love & continue to strengthen her each day!

Give her a garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness! Comfort them as they mourn and provide for those who grieve. Bestow a crown of beauty instead of ashes. Pour an oil of gladnessover her instead of mouning. May they rejoice and celebrate in Michael's homecoming and salvation.

May God be glorified ! May the memorial be a time of witness of this loved one. Thank you for his life. Thank you for all who make love offerings as requested by the family. Thank you for people that will continue to surround our sister in the days ahead. Be with her in times of lonliness. Give her Your Peace to fill those moments. May Elizabeth continue to walk in the strength You have given her. Hold her in Your loving arms. Minister Your love through many people and different ways. May Grace Fellowship be her family and surround her with amily love not just tomorrow but every upcoming day, months from now. Be with her.

Thank You for our dear sister Karen who lifted Lizzie! Thank You for Karen's prayer here and on her blog! Thank You for the HOPE & faithfulness You showed her this week. Continue to work in her family and her. Thank You for being Jehovah Rapha. Be with Karen and cover her ehart and prayers! We stand together with her heart. We praise You with her! We honor You & give You glory! Continue to restore our homes, our churches, our nation. Hear the beautiful pleas & grateful heart of a captive set free, giving You all the glory, praising You! You are Karen's everything! You are our everything. Without You, we are nothing! You are so worthy! Thank You that we can come to You, seek You and ask in Jesus Name

PRAYER for Our Nation

This was shared in an email from the Presidential Prayer Team:

Declaration of Independence Signer

Samuel Chase
George Washington (1732-1799), 1st President of the United States

"Almighty God: We make our earnest prayer that Thou wilt keep the United States in Thy Holy protection; and Thou wilt incline the hearts of the Citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to Government; and to entertain a brotherly affection and love for one another and for their fellow Citizens of the United States at large, and particularly for their brethren who have served in the Field. And finally that Thou wilt most graciously be pleased to dispose us all to do justice, to love mercy, and to demean ourselves with that Charity, humility, and pacific temper of mind which were the Characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed Religion, and without a humble imitation of whose example in these things we can never hope to be a happy nation. Grant our supplication we beseech Thee, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen." --

This prayer of George Washington appears in St. Paul's Chapel in New York City.
