A prayer of ADORATION comes from the heart, expressing our love, awe, respect or reverence to God. It actually means to put one's hands up to their mouth to give a kiss to the one they are worshiping. For SCRIPTURES and more on PRAISE return to our previous posts HERE and here.

There is and will be another post for leaving your prayer petitions (requests or needs of others) so that we may intercede together with you. 


This one is for PRAISE and ADORATION Prayers only please! I can't think of any better way to start our week with Our Lord and King than praising Him, exalting Him, and adoring Him!

Heavenly Father, I release to you the burdens that I have been carrying, burdens that You never intended for me to carry. I cast all my cares upon You—all my worries, all my fears. You have told me not be anxious about anything, but rather to bring everything to You in prayer with thankfulness.

Father, calm my restless spirit, quiet my anxious heart, still my troubling thoughts with the assurance that You are in control. I let go of my grip upon the things I have been hanging onto, with opened hands I come to You. I release to Your will all that I am trying to manipulate; I release to Your authority all that I am trying to control; I release to Your timing all that I have been striving to make happen.

16. For John Dean M. who has a mass near his forhead. He is a former cancer survivor. He has lost everything once from ANNESPHAMILY 
17. Amanda's sister Lisa's salvation. Lisa just lost a close friend to breast cancer. 
18. MTJ (healing for his son and wife) and also his family in the loss of their aunt; safe travels and some peaceful sleep & rest for a physically exhausting week
19. Tiffany (God's direction, guidance, wisdom in her ministry and outreach) birthday blessings, also her STS small group

Day-13 

What Kind of Trial are You In?


“Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings. And the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will Himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. To Him be the power for ever and ever. Amen.”
 -1 Peter 5:8-11


Today’s Word:
Precious child remember My word, ‘do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you’. Are you in a painful trial? There are three things to remember during such times. 


The first thing to remember in hardship is that, ‘God causes all things to work together for good to those who love Him.’ Be assured of this, and do not despair. 


The second thing to remember is that some hardship is the doorway to share in Christ’s sufferings, and these sufferings will be worked for your benefit. 


The third thing to remember is that you have an enemy.


Ask Me what the source of your hardship is. And when you are doing well, and making much progress in your Kingdom labors, then you should not be caught unaware when the enemy stands against you. At that very moment, ‘Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you’. Take up My word, and place resistance against the enemy’s efforts. ‘The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full’.


There are times in My Kingdom that require resistance, and I have given you authority for those times. Even as I have said, ‘I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven’. Do not be afraid, for I am with you; use your authority and remember that you belong to Me. You are a child, precious and loved, in your Father’s house.

6. Kat her husband's oldest brother KEN (urgent prayer needed,he's ICU in hospital, his kidneys are failing, one of his lungs isn't responding, his heart is weak) RECENT UPDATE still much prayer needed
7. Mollye and family (grief for the loss of their dear, precious Jake)
8. Please pray for precious young Skylar, he is just a little boy fighting cancer.
9. Sandy's dad passed away on Tuesday, please keep the family in your prayers.
10. Charlotte, and her husband Michael.
11. Christina's brother passed away on Tuesday, then her aunt passed away Wednesday.
12. Loren is having surgery on her shoulder Friday and then recovery.
13. Anne's son Nick is running a high fever, and has strep throat. He needs his tonsils out.
14. Michelle's brother Billy is fighting cancer. Today is his birthday, go by blog, and leave him birthday wishes.
15. Jill sharing prayer needs (Scott's dad) too many to list so you have to go visit her
16. Sandy's nephew Isaiah (update) he's 3 now & we give God PRAISE; however he has a trach infection; TOBI breathing treatment still
17. Courtney's husband Zane was electrocuted a few days ago. They have only been married for two years. Update 1, 2, 3PRAISE
