PRAYERS for YOURSELF

I love PRAYER CENTRAL! (PC)
I love Kathleen Dillard and her heart. Page Icon

Every aspect of their ministry that she carries on, even after unexpectantly watching her wonderful husband, Wayne enter his just reward and the Presence of the One who they serve. She is a beautiful woman and so are their daughters.

Pray for them and visit their ministry and the wonderful sections they have to help us PRAY and special widgets like Fetch a Prayer (button in the side columns), Afghan, Troop and Baghdad Prayer Patrol plus her wonderful WORD of the WEEK(prophetic Word weekly)...

I go to this website frequently and have done all 3 of the devotionals: In His Name, ABC's of Prayer, and Draw Near

Today, I went to pray for the "JOBLESS" but once there, I had to pray for PRODIGALS, for MY CITY, for the LOST , which are choices on the Fetch a Prayer button also and I even chose to pray for me...PRAYER FOR YOURSELF (changes daily) there is a PRAYER FOR THE DAY too but this one I decided to bring and share here, perhaps YOU find yourself in a place where you need God's wisdom and I pray it may benefit you also...
Pray for Myself

Praying for: Myself

Wisdom for Myself
ScriptureIf any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. -James 1:5
Prayer: Lord You created the heavens with a word and fashioned the earth with Your voice. You have more wisdom in one thought than in the entire universe.
Lord, I thank You for Your promise to give wisdom to us when we need it. With the challenges that I face today, I need wisdom. Lord I come before Your great throne and ask for Your wisdom to be poured out to me now. A generous portion according to Your word. That divine wisdom that is pure, peace-loving, full of mercy and good fruit.
Fill me Lord with wisdom that will honor You, give me solutions that will bless the good, confound the wicked, strengthen the weak, and break the yoke of injustice. Clear the channels Lord, between me and Your throne, and let Your wisdom flow like a river. In Jesus name, amen.
So this is kinda like the TOPIC 4 TUESDAY, I had been doing. Your topic may not be WISDOM. Maybe you need God's direction, or Healing... whatever. I will be adding another prayer from PC for  "Directing their steps" for my friends... you may be one of those friends...
You are welcome to PRAY for anything on this post, but it MUST be a prayer for YOURSELF here
I would also like to suggest that you go to Prayer Central and select any of the categories and bring that PRAYER here (just let us know it is from Prayer Central with PC or something before you paste or copy it in the "PRAYERS LIFTED TO THE THRONE OF GOD" (comments). If you need prayer and would like others to pray with you, add that to our PRAYER LINKY here.
If you have a PRAYER petition or request for someone, please share those here at the post;
If you have a PRAISE or ADORATION prayer for God, you are encouraged to share your LOVE for Our Lord here at PRAYERS of ADORATION and LOVE
DIFFERENT PRAYERS in DIFFERENT PLACES this week. If it's not clear, don't worry, just leave your prayer and I may move it (lol)... clear as mud, right?  Hope you don't mind, a little order in this house of prayer... your prayers are welcome anywhere... this is a house of prayer, a LIGHTHOUSE of PRAYER, may HIS Light shine on YOU and guide you as you pray...
ADD YOUR PRAYER FOR YOURSELF...

I had to close comments due to people leaving spam comments rather than a PRAYER

PC ~Praying for: my friends

Direct Their Steps

Scripture:
For I command you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commands, decrees and laws; then you will live and increase, and the LORD your God will bless you in the land you are entering to possess.
-Deuteronomy 30:16

Prayer:
Lord, You are the God of all knowledge, the One who knows the end from the beginning, You are the Alpha and Omega.

Lord of promise, I thank You for Your instructions on how we should live. I present my friends before You Lord, and I ask that You would direct their steps today to walk in Your ways, so that You can bless them in the place where they serve.

At each turn and each decision today Holy Spirit, I ask that You would speak, and give them ears to hear, that they may keep Your commands and do what is pleasing in Your sight.

Shout Your warnings Lord, keep them on the straight path, and pluck their feet out of the net, keep them from evil Lord, so that You may bless them. I pray in Jesus name and for His glory, amen.

Praying for: Beth (from Fetch a Prayer)

Hope for Beth

Scripture: Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God. -Psalms 42:11

Prayer: Lord of all Hope, You answer us with awesome deeds of righteousness, O God our Savior, the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest seas, to whom shall we look?

Lord, we live in a fallen state and our souls struggle against the world, the flesh and the devil. Despair can sometimes catch our heel, and we lose sight of the hope we have in You.

I come before You today, and I ask You to guard my hope. Deliver me Lord from discouragement and fear that can creep in and wear me down. Break in upon my mind today Lord and dislodge doubts, and troubling thoughts.

Give me fresh strength to praise and exalt Your name in the midst of difficulty, and birth yet another testimony of Your deliverance into my life. In Jesus name, amen.

Both of these apply to me but not written by me or PC:

Pray This… from
Meet Me In The Meadow by Roy Lessin

Prayer of Release

I know the one in whom I trust, and I am sure that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him until the day of his return. 2 Timothy 1:12 NLT

Heavenly Father, I release to you the burdens that I have been carrying, burdens that You never intended for me to carry. I cast all my cares upon You—all my worries, all my fears. You have told me not be anxious about anything, but rather to bring everything to You in prayer with thankfulness.

Father, calm my restless spirit, quiet my anxious heart, still my troubling thoughts with the assurance that You are in control. I let go of my grip upon the things I have been hanging onto, with opened hands I come to You. I release to Your will all that I am trying to manipulate; I release to Your authority all that I am trying to control; I release to Your timing all that I have been striving to make happen.

I thank You for Your promise to sustain me, preserve me, and guard all that I have entrusted to Your keeping. Protect my heart and mind with Your peace, the peace that passes all understanding. Father, may Your will be done in my life, in Your time, and in Your way.

Scriptures: Psalm 55:22, 1 Peter 5:7, Philippians 4:6, Matthew 6, Isaiah 26:3, Luke 11:2

Dear God, So many things just look impossible. Sometimes I wonder how I will make it through this trial or how will we survive or where is this problem leading? But, when I stop concentrating on the problem and look to You and Your promises, I am relieved. For I know that all things are possible through You. You are in control and will make all things work to the good for those who love You. Thank You for those promises and for the "breath of fresh air" I feel in knowing You are here with me, for me, and in me through Your Holy Spirit. In Jesus' name, amen.

Talk About It
Day 40

Death is a part of life. Everyone experiences the death of a loved one.

"We are social beings, physical beings, and spiritual beings," says Rev. Clay Evans. "When you lose someone you are attached to, it is normal, it is natural, for you to grieve."

If grief is natural and is part of everyone's life, why is there a feeling of discomfort when someone mentions the death of a loved one? Why the embarrassment when tears come during an ordinary conversation?

People in grief may avoid their friends and even their church to prevent these awkward moments. This is not how it should be. Someone needs to move beyond the discomfort. Be the first one to squelch the prevailing attitude of embarrassment and unease, and start talking about grief.

"Bear one another's burdens, and thus fulfill the law of Christ" (Galatians 6:2 NASB).

Lord Jesus, grieving is as natural and as common as loving. I want to help make it as acceptable, too. May my healing journey spark healing in those around me. Amen.

Standing together with my sis Denise,

I left this prayerHERE...this is part of it

...I come here Lord, lifting my dear sister Denise to You, trusting You and Your everlasting kindness & promises for her.

Today, Denise, has an appointment
with her specialist for the results. We know that You go before her and already know. We ask for Your great favor over Denise. Your hand of healing and grace wash over her. I humbly come to You and ask for Your power and will to bring a miracle of healing for her. She has been through so much already this year since last December. But You are God! Your Word tells me to cast all our cares on You! I cast my dear sister Denise's cares on You. Give her Peace to calm any fears or
insecurities. Prepare her in every way! Be with her and hold her. We know that nothing is impossible with You or for You! I know that Denise's diabetes has taken a toll on her health and her body but she is Your temple. I believe with my whole heart and trust in You that You desire to give Denise a good report. Give Denise Your Strength today. Fill her overflowingly!...

PRAYER for Our Nation

This was shared in an email from the Presidential Prayer Team:

Declaration of Independence Signer

Samuel Chase
George Washington (1732-1799), 1st President of the United States

"Almighty God: We make our earnest prayer that Thou wilt keep the United States in Thy Holy protection; and Thou wilt incline the hearts of the Citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to Government; and to entertain a brotherly affection and love for one another and for their fellow Citizens of the United States at large, and particularly for their brethren who have served in the Field. And finally that Thou wilt most graciously be pleased to dispose us all to do justice, to love mercy, and to demean ourselves with that Charity, humility, and pacific temper of mind which were the Characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed Religion, and without a humble imitation of whose example in these things we can never hope to be a happy nation. Grant our supplication we beseech Thee, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen." --

This prayer of George Washington appears in St. Paul's Chapel in New York City.
