TODAY'S BLESSING

Pray the Blessing:
Ps 119:1-8 Blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the LORD! Blessed are those who keep his testimonies, who seek him with their whole heart, who also do no wrong, but walk in his ways! You have commanded your precepts to be kept diligently.

Oh that my ways may be steadfast in keeping your statutes! Then I shall not be put to shame, having my eyes fixed on all your commandments. I will praise you with an upright heart, when I learn your righteous rules. I will keep your statutes; do not utterly forsake me!

Declare your faith:
I believe and confess that Jesus is a righteous judge and that his kingdom is a kingdom of righteousness (Rev 9:11; Isa 9:7).

Pray on foot:
Pray at your magistrate office or town council that those who make decisions on behalf of the city will do it in accordance with God’s standards of righteousness.

Today’s Prayer
Praying for: my neighbohood

Bless the Families of my neighborhood

Scripture: All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the LORD, And all the families of the nations will worship before Thee. -Psalms 22:27

Prayer: Lord, You are God of heaven and earth, and Lord of all the nations. Every person, and every family owes their well-being to You, and You alone are the source of all blessings.

I want to see my neighborhood be blessed Lord, and I know that You work Your blessings through the family. My neighborhood is just a bunch of families trying to live together in harmony and prosperity.

I’m asking for a special blessing on the familes today Lord. Send forth a decree over my neighbohood that today would be a family day. Send a wind of peace and harmony Lord, over the families. Let this be a day of renewed relationships, and gratitude for family members. Strengthen the foundation of these families Lord as a channel of Your blessings for my neighborhood. In Jesus name, amen.

Today's Daily Prayer
A Renewed Mind
Even though I was born again at the age of 12, I was convinced that I was a failure. Over the years condemnation and guilt followed me, and at times depression would consume me. Little did I realize that my thought patterns were holding me in bondage. I blamed God for my mental state, and thought that I was a mistake. But God came to my rescue when I called on the name of the Lord. Reading the Bible as God's love letter to me I realized that I was thinking wrong about myself. I quit saying I can't, and began to say I can do all things through Christ you strengthens me. I said: Greater is He that is in me than He that is in the world. My life was changed. The Bible is God's love letter to you, and He will change your life from defeat and failure to victory and success!

PRAYER:
In the name of Jesus, I refuse to be conformed to this age, [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs]. In the name of Jesus I bind my mind to transformation by the [entire] renewal of my mind with its new ideals and its new attitude. Holy Spirit, thank You for helping me prove [for myself] Gods good and acceptable and perfect will, even the thing, which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for me].

Scripture Reading: Romans 12:2

PRAYER for Our Nation

This was shared in an email from the Presidential Prayer Team:

Declaration of Independence Signer

Samuel Chase
George Washington (1732-1799), 1st President of the United States

"Almighty God: We make our earnest prayer that Thou wilt keep the United States in Thy Holy protection; and Thou wilt incline the hearts of the Citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to Government; and to entertain a brotherly affection and love for one another and for their fellow Citizens of the United States at large, and particularly for their brethren who have served in the Field. And finally that Thou wilt most graciously be pleased to dispose us all to do justice, to love mercy, and to demean ourselves with that Charity, humility, and pacific temper of mind which were the Characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed Religion, and without a humble imitation of whose example in these things we can never hope to be a happy nation. Grant our supplication we beseech Thee, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen." --

This prayer of George Washington appears in St. Paul's Chapel in New York City.
