PRAYER CHALLENGE DAY 22

You Tube SONG of "Purpose Driven Life" with Jamie Rivera

CHALLENGE TAKEN from the pdf mentioned back here
Suggestion for today from there:

Day 22:  Ask for the ability to have vision.  To be able to see those things that need to be done and to have the courage to do them or say them.  Ask God to help you to figure out what your talents are so you can use them to the full resource.  If you are an encourager, giver, exhorter, administrator, organizer, whatever, pray that you are open when the opportunities are available to not miss them.

On another note, do not be over doing, or doing so much that you are missing what God wants to do or is doing or will do through you. Listen to Him for part of your time today and ask Him to reveal if you need to let go of something or what He wills for you... regarding your time and talents. "Make every moment count for eternity, and let eternity fill your every moment with purpose for God's Kingdom and plan."~ my quote

DAILY PRAYER from Germaine Copeland ... author of "Prayers that Avail Much"

Prayers That Avail Much: 25th Anniversary Commemorative Gift Edition (Prayers That Avail Much) (Prayers That Avail Much)

Accepted by God
The fear of rejection controlled the young woman, and she kept her eyes averted or looked away before anyone at church could speak to her. She always assumed they really didn't want to speak or they would at least try to get her attention. This fear haunted her until the day she heard the Good News! God chose her before the foundation of the world, and she had been accepted in the Beloved! God's love began to drive away the fear, and over time the Lord became her confidence. She held her head high, speaking to others rather than waiting for them to speak to her. God gave her a spirit of power, love and a sound mind. Today she is a blessing to many, especially to those who are lonely and hurting.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for blessing the work of my hands. I can walk confidently fulfilling my destiny because You love, accept and approve of me. I am strong even though I feel weak, and my works shall be rewarded. I am steadfast, never giving up in the face of adversity. Because I am Your child and a partaker of Your divine nature, I will stand firm until Your will prevails and satan's plans have been demolished. In the name of Jesus, I affirm Your love for me. Amen
Scripture Reading: Deuteronomy 28:122 Chronicles 15:7Ephesians 6:13-14
The daily prayer is written by Germaine Copeland, author of the Prayers That Avail Much family book series.

And YES, LORD the words of this song also form a PRAYER to YOU:

MAY OUR LIVES BE PURPOSE DRIVEN BY YOU...

Many days have come and gone
Many years seem to have been wasted
Round and round, like an aimless journey seems
Like we've been here before
Why on earth am I here for?

Come my friend, stop for a while
Life must be more than just existing
Round and round like a Carousel ride
Shall we end where we began?
Tell me so I'll understand.

Let us begin to live this life
let us together seek its purpose
Life is not a pointless venture
Eternity is for sure
Open up and receive this truth in your heart
That God was smiling at your birth
And has a purpose for your life

Come my friend, stop for a while
Life must be more than just existing
Round and round like a Carousel ride
Shall we end where we began?
Tell me so I'll understand.

Let us begin to live this life
let us together seek its purpose
Life is not a pointless venture
Eternity is for sure
Open up and receive this truth in your heart
That God was smiling at your birth
And has a purpose for your life

I know the plans I've laid for you
Plans for goodness says the Lord
We were mad to last forever
And heaven is our home.

Let us begin to live this life
let us together seek its purpose
Life is not a pointless venture
Eternity is for sure
Open up and receive this truth in your heart
That God was smiling at your birth
And has a purpose for your life

Let us begin to live this life
let us together seek its purpose
Life is not a pointless venture
Eternity is for sure
Open up and receive this truth in your heart

That (You),God (were)was smiling at (my)your birth
And (have)has a purpose for (my)your life

Yes, God was smiling at your birth
Begin to live this with purpose
A PURPOSE DRIVEN LIFE...

Thank You for ETERNITY!

Today's Blessing

Pray the Blessing:

Pro 11:11 By the blessing of the upright a city is exalted, but by the mouth of the wicked it is overthrown.

Declare your faith:
I believe and confess that Jesus Christ is the Word of God and that the implanted Word brings salvation (John 1:1; James 1:21).

Pray on foot:
Pray at the newspaper’s office that the words of the upright will exalt the city and that the mouth of the wicked will be stopped

TODAY'S PRAYER

Praying for: my neighborhood

Jobs and Opportunities

Scripture: He who pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity and honour. -Proverbs 21:21

Prayer: Lord, You are the One who made the earth, and created man upon it. You stretched out the heavens with Your hands, and ordained all their host.

Lord, we know it’s Your desire to bless, and we know You are a generous and loving God. I pray for the people of my neighbohood right now, and ask for the blessing of employment.

Open the doors Lord that no man can shut, and give opportunities for the people to work and provide for their families. Lord, You can bring streams in the desert, so I ask for a stream of employment to flow into my neighbohood.

Cause the people and businesses there to prosper and enable them to be a blessing to others. Establish a cycle of blessing and generosity Lord, that will glorify Your name.

It's Time to Pray

PRAYER for Our Nation

This was shared in an email from the Presidential Prayer Team:

Declaration of Independence Signer

Samuel Chase
George Washington (1732-1799), 1st President of the United States

"Almighty God: We make our earnest prayer that Thou wilt keep the United States in Thy Holy protection; and Thou wilt incline the hearts of the Citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to Government; and to entertain a brotherly affection and love for one another and for their fellow Citizens of the United States at large, and particularly for their brethren who have served in the Field. And finally that Thou wilt most graciously be pleased to dispose us all to do justice, to love mercy, and to demean ourselves with that Charity, humility, and pacific temper of mind which were the Characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed Religion, and without a humble imitation of whose example in these things we can never hope to be a happy nation. Grant our supplication we beseech Thee, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen." --

This prayer of George Washington appears in St. Paul's Chapel in New York City.
