DAILY PRAYER from Germaine Copeland ... author of "Prayers that Avail Much"

Arise to New Life
Many Christians who love the Lord have suffered trauma that left emotional wounds. Often this one event will hinder their spiritual development. You are not responsible for what happened to you, but you are responsible for your present day response. You have the Life of God in you and I encourage you to speak Resurrection to the death that trauma brought to your soul. You have passed from death to Life!

Prayer:
Father God, I arise to new life this day. I shake off the entanglements, hurts, bruises and sins of the past. It's a new day! Thank You for doing a new thing in my life, Father. Forgetting the former things, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. I have the Life of God in me! Amen.
Scripture Reading: Isaiah 60:1Isaiah 49:19;Philippians 3:13-14
The daily prayer is written by Germaine Copeland, author of the Prayers That Avail Much family book series.

Praying for: Friend

Silence the Accusations

Scripture: He who vindicates me is near. Who then will bring charges against me? Let us face each other! Who is my accuser? Let him confront me! It is the Sovereign LORD who helps me. Who is he who will condemn me? -Isaiah 50:8

Prayer: LORD, there is no God like You in heaven above or on earth beneath. You are the One who keeps covenant and shows lovingkindness to Your servants who walk before You with all their heart.

I thank You Lord for being the One who vindicates Friend. I thank You Jesus for being her advocate, and for standing with her to confront her adversary.

I stand with Jesus now, before the judge of all the earth, and reject the accusations satan would make against Friend. It is the sovereign Lord who helps her, redeems her, and sets her free. No accusation or condemnation can stand before the cross of Christ.

Thank You Jesus for Your sacrifice, and redemption, and for being the advocate that stands between Friend and her accuser.

Praying for: the soldiers serving my country

Protection Against Opposition

Scripture: The LORD will protect him and preserve his life; he will bless him in the land and not surrender him to the desire of his foes. -Psalms 41:2

Prayer: Lord, You have the name that is above all names. You are Lord forever and there is no one who can challenge Your authority and power. You rule for ever and ever, and there is no end to Your Kingdom.

I pray for the soldiers serving my country and I ask that you would deliver them from the oppression of the enemy. Cause Your angels Lord to encamp around them and keep them from the evil one.

I agree with Your Word Lord, that no weapon, scheme or plan formed against the soldiers serving my country will prosper. Lord You have promised to protect and preserve their lives and to not surrender them to the desire of their foes. I stand with You Lord against the accusations, and schemes that confront them today, and apply the provision that Jesus has made for their freedom.

Surround the soldiers serving my country Lord with Your presence, and cause their hearts to rejoice in Your nearness. In Jesus name, amen,

A simple prayer from me to You, Lord.

DELIVER us that are held captive spiritually or mentally; troubled with worries, anxieties and other problems.

ENCOURAGE us and Show us those who are hurting and what we can do to help. Use us if and however, if that be Your will to answer prayers.

Thank You for the Holy Spirit that partners with us, thank You for the power of Love.

Praying all the verses shared back HERE

No stress, we're blessed!
No worry, no hurry... God's at work in us! Thank You that we are a work in progress and God will complete the good work He began...

PRAYER for Our Nation

This was shared in an email from the Presidential Prayer Team:

Declaration of Independence Signer

Samuel Chase
George Washington (1732-1799), 1st President of the United States

"Almighty God: We make our earnest prayer that Thou wilt keep the United States in Thy Holy protection; and Thou wilt incline the hearts of the Citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to Government; and to entertain a brotherly affection and love for one another and for their fellow Citizens of the United States at large, and particularly for their brethren who have served in the Field. And finally that Thou wilt most graciously be pleased to dispose us all to do justice, to love mercy, and to demean ourselves with that Charity, humility, and pacific temper of mind which were the Characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed Religion, and without a humble imitation of whose example in these things we can never hope to be a happy nation. Grant our supplication we beseech Thee, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen." --

This prayer of George Washington appears in St. Paul's Chapel in New York City.
