PRAYER CHALLENGE DAY 16

CHALLENGE TAKEN from the pdf mentioned back here
Suggestion for today from there:

Day 16:  Pray for everyone else.  Don’t ask for one thing for yourself during your 10 minutes of prayer.  Focus on what other people need.  After you finish the prayer, figure out and take action in one way you can be an answer to the prayer.  If you prayed for God to comfort and give strength to someone, then do something to help provide comfort and strength to the person you mentioned.

  • Day Two of The 12-Day Prodigal Prayer Mission
  • Day One of The 12-Day Prodigal Prayer Mission

  • I LOVE THIS! and I pray that you will also, if you have or know any "prodigals". EACH DAY of this BRINGS SO MUCH MORE... but DAY THREE ... so far is the best to me..."SPEAKING THE PROMISES" ... absolutely wonderful... and fits so well with our Praying God's Word. If you have no "prodigals" in your life and world, PRAISE GOD and pray for the many others that do.

I'm sure that you can fill 10 minutes on others if you begin to think of prodigals, the suffering, the sick, the poor, the injustices... God knows about ALL of this but He wants to hear from His children... Give Him a call or just leave a simple prayer right here... He'll read it, I guarantee...

    DAILY PRAYER from Germaine Copeland

... author of "Prayers that Avail Much"

    Power to Heal
Do you need physical or emotional healing? Renew your mind to God's Word; He abides in you, in every cell and tissue of your body. Declare that Jesus is Lord over your spirit, soul and body. Let go of all unforgiveness, resentment, anger, and bad feelings toward anyone. God plans to prosper you and not to harm you. He plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). It is God's will to heal you, and when you pray, believe that He will do what He promised. The prayer of faith will heal the sick!

    PRAYER:
Father, thank you for sending your word to heal me and deliver me from all my destructions. Jesus, you are the Word who became flesh and dwelt among us. You bore my griefs (pains) and carried my sorrows (sickness). You were pierced through for my transgressions, crushed for my iniquities, the chastening for my well-being fell upon you, and by your scourging I am healed. Amen.

Scripture Reading: Psalm 107:20; John 1:14; Isaiah 53:4-5

The daily prayer is written by Germaine Copeland, author of the Prayers That Avail Much family book series.

    Praying for: ____________________

    Good Shepherd

Intro: Jesus said, “I AM the Good Shepherd.” When you name His Name over a lost soul, you are lifting up the banner of active love. Jesus cares more about your lost friends, neighbors and family members than you do. Meditate on these Bible verses and declare His heart of longing over the lost.
Scripture: For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through Him. -John 3:17

This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. -1Timothy 2:3-4

The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. -2Peter 3:9

Thus it is not [the] will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones perish. -Matthew 18:12-14

The thief comes only to steal, and kill, and destroy; I came that they might have life, and might have [it] abundantly. -John 10:10

    Prayer:
I thank You Jesus for the mercy that I have received. I declare that mercy triumphs over judgment, and I ask for Your mercy in ____________________’s lives. You did not come to condemn but You came to save. I ask You to send forth Your Holy Spirit to awaken ____________________’s souls to You. Bring them back as lost sheep into the fold.

I ask for dreams and many divine appointments that would speak deep to their hearts. Jesus, in Your Name I declare that You wish for no one to perish. Send them Your kindness that leads to repentance.

I bind the thief in Your Mighty Name and release the abundant life that You purchased through Your blood. I declare that You are the Good Shepherd and that Your desire is for ____________________’s salvation.

The above prayer is for PRODIGALS and this is for your neighborhood:

    Reveal Jesus to Someone Today

Scripture: “And He, when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin, and righteousness, and judgment…” -John 16:8

Prayer: Father, we thank You that mercy triumphs over judgment. You are slow to anger, abounding in lovingkindness, and are ready to show compassion to all who call upon You.

Jesus, You see the many lives that are facing the tug of war between life and death. We ask that You would release your Holy Spirit to convict about eternal realities. According to Your promise, we ask that there would be a sudden awareness of sin, righteousness, and judgment.

We claim Your word that says that You do not wish for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. Let it be so! Father, we ask that You would touch someone here today with the revelation of Your Son. Bring back to their memory the stories they have heard about Jesus; release an awareness of Christ’s presence; and let dreams and supernatural signs come down that confirm You are the Lord, and the Prince of Peace.

Break him or her free from the power of darkness. I bring them before Your great throne of mercy, and ask that the sacrifice of Jesus be laid to their account. I thank You that You decree them forgiven and free, just as You have for me. In Jesus name, amen

    PRAYER for Our Nation

This was shared in an email from the Presidential Prayer Team:

    Declaration of Independence Signer

    Samuel Chase
George Washington (1732-1799), 1st President of the United States

"Almighty God: We make our earnest prayer that Thou wilt keep the United States in Thy Holy protection; and Thou wilt incline the hearts of the Citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to Government; and to entertain a brotherly affection and love for one another and for their fellow Citizens of the United States at large, and particularly for their brethren who have served in the Field. And finally that Thou wilt most graciously be pleased to dispose us all to do justice, to love mercy, and to demean ourselves with that Charity, humility, and pacific temper of mind which were the Characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed Religion, and without a humble imitation of whose example in these things we can never hope to be a happy nation. Grant our supplication we beseech Thee, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen." --

This prayer of George Washington appears in St. Paul's Chapel in New York City.
